Hey Guys.
I am trying out for a pop/rock/punk band pretty soon, and I was just wondering, what kinds of scales would you use for this type of music? I dont think pentatonic, or harmonic minors would cut it, because I'm looking for happy, upbeat scales. Do you guys think you can post a few tabs of scales like this? it is MUCH appreciated! Thanks so much!

Major, and minor scales. The basis of rock music today is the minor scale. The Minor pentatonic would be good for solos.
