Taking care of a new litter of cubs was to much work for her to do. Stretching out from the tree she'd currently taken refuge under, she looked to her cubs with a roll of her eyes and then licked each of their heads. It was a shame that the dad refused to keep them, but they did need their mother's milk after all.
But, they were growing quickly and didn't need her milk as much as they used too. She hunted for them quite often, because they seemed to have never ending guts. Especially the little female she was fond of.
Brilliant blue eyes flashed as she looked around. "How to cure boredom?" She murmured to herself, trekking away from her cubs. They were well hidden, and protected from sun or the rain, whatever the weather was for the day. From the scent on the air, it smelled like it'd rain later tonight. That gave her enough time to take care of herself, hunt for the cubs and then move them to a pro par den.
"Still got to find one of those," she said as she climbed over a small hill and then perched on it as if she were a bird, or that she owned this hill. Far be it from Dyce to own anything. This new mother was surprised that this was her first litter, with as many males as she'd encountered before. And there she sat, waiting for movement, or a scent to point her in the direction of a hunt or some fun.

Growing up where Baron did, exposed him to many elements and many views on life which others simply did not understand. Although 'Purple Banana Jr.' had a light side, he was raised to hold the seriousness of his mother close to his heart. But those would come later.
Right now, Baron was enjoying the freedom of being an adult and being away from his younger Uncle to collect his thoughts and try to figure out what he was going to do with his life now. True he did live in what some would call a pride, but that's not what they called it. But did he want to stay there? Right now, he wanted to meet new lions and experiance things he could not at home.
Walking along he kept his eyes on his surroundings but mostly so he didn't run into an obsticle, the sights around him were not completly registering as what they were. The very large male was too deep in his thoughts to truely care and there was no responsiblities for him to worry about.

Those orbs of blue flashed when she saw something large moving ahead of her. Grinning, she got up and started at a quiet trot, ducking and stopping occasionally so she wouldn't be seen. The wind shifted; causing the scent to fall upon her nose. So it was a male, was it? This could be fun if he didn't know she had cubs. Her teets should have been shrunken enough since the cubs were relying more on solid food. She was in good shape too, birthing three cubs ruined most lionesses, but not Dyce. She worked it off with walking and running, hunting and not relying on a male or a pride to provide for her. Ah, the freedom of being prideless.
Inching closer, she boldly slid up next to him and nipped at his cheek tufts then darted off in front of him, presenting her self quite nicely. One paw in front of the other, giving him a flirtatious smile and a little wink. "Well, hello, there handsome. Shouldn't be lost in thought. You could get gray fur," she purred out at him. It was obvious Dyce was completely shameless when it came to her prey, and he was her next target to get close too.
