by the sound of the screams Name: Sabriel (the 13th) Nicknames: Not-Totoro, The Cat, Sabe Gender: Male Born: October 31st, 2005 Age: Kiddo Height: 4.3 feet Hair/fur: Black Eyes: Yellow. Very, very yellow. Alignment: Gravity and Shadow Status: *choke* Features: His "tail" is a knot of seven whips. They're fully mobile, which is something we could all do without. Along with that are his cat features, including retractable (and sharp) red claws. Likes: The outdoors, cold weather, lions, spicy food, athletics, going against the grain, being lazy, the color red Dislikes: Birds, panthers, sugar, full dark, strong magic, anything formal, being taunted/pushed around/ignored (especially ignored), complication Interests: Not many. He is more into physical activities that test his limits, and learns what he wants to learn and nothing else. Doesn't seem to have aspirations far in the future. Personality: Unfortunately for him, Sabriel is intelligent in mind and strong in ego, and when the two collide things crash and burn. He has the cabability of being extremely smart. But as soon as something happens to trigger his emotions, that's it - good sense goes flying out the window. Most of these emotions are negative. He's jealous and angry, proud and stubborn and bitter. As a kid, he's less likely to back down, and much more likely to cause trouble with great abandon. There aren't many things that strike Sabe as morally wrong - like clawing up Kay. She didn't have Prince after all? Meh. Honest mistake. In fact, there's something right about it, making a sort of twisted sense in his head. Who knows. Despite having a better vocabulary, he still cuts down speech to a bare minimum, using as few words as possibly and phrasing things rather bluntly. Abilities:Magic sensitivity: The destruction of two mages caused his creation, and this carries over as a sensitivity and awareness of all kinds of magic, including those not of his element. As a child, Sabriel doesn't notice natural, inactive magic, but rather spells being actively cast. He can tell what kind of magic it is automatically if it happens to be a simple element like Air or Fire, but any mixes or rare elements are confusing. Elements: Gravity and Shadow. To be discovered ninja Mwuahahaha.

Hair: Brown and cut short Eyes: Blue Special: Ankle wings Likes: Writing, drawing, singing, other artistic things, animals, sleeping in, coffeeee, sunny days, self-indulgence, blue & green, being of help, han'som fellers Dislikes: Relatives, gloomy weather, anything spicy, weird magical happenings (mishaps?), headaches, challenges, writer's block Personality: A little nervous and emotional, a little cautious - those aren't bad faults to have. Chin may have them but she also has her good points, like always putting on a good face and treating people with kindness and respect. She's still young yet, and may get carried away sometimes, but that's part of who she is. Since Sabriel came into her life she's less shy from being forced to meet new people and worries a lot about him and her other 'children' even though Sabriel doesn't care a whit about her. Currently in the care of Darby and Co., Cain popped out of a leaf, and I fear for his future in that house. He'll end up learning all of their horrible habits and run out with his friends every single night, and I can't do anything about it! For the few times I've seen him, he's well-mannered - kinda quiet, actually. Our bloom! She's Cain's friend. Someone stuck her in the flowerpot when he was a leaf, and the pot sort of...exploded. So where is she? Tene was found after a very weird series of events in our toolshed - and what could we do? We had to take him in! He's very timid, but a real sweetheart, who always has a little spiritual buddy around to keep him company. The rest of our family, including aforementioned Darby and Co., are all listed in the Hampster House.

Cockatrice: Auwk! =D Glass Crow Wondering briefly how Sabriel could have saved something from pants, Len nodded in polite interest as he spoke. At his offer, she shrugged and nodded.
"Sure. Thank you," she said. Feeling rather unequal in the sharing, she glanced about her person for something to give. An idea sparked...but, no...she only did that with friends.... ah, hell.
"Here." she said shortly, plucking off a razor feather. As it started to dull, she scraped a claw over the back of her hand, watching a bead of black blood well up. With detached precision she smeared the little bit of blood across the feather, watching in satisfaction as the dulling effect reversed. The blood dried in an evil looking jagged stripe, making the feather look even more dangerous.
"This," she said, pushing it over to the Cat, "is dangerous. And probably not a good idea to give you. Try not to kill anyone with it." Homigawd. *FEARS*

This'd be the basic layout of the room. Not all of the details are exact (hey, limited resources) but it does give a good idea of where everything is. The one window, where it shows night, faces the balcony. The other window overlooks the grounds. It used to have green curtains, but they were shredded by you-know-who. You can't really see the door, but...it's there! Truly! Currently there is a portal from this room to Chinchillie's house, which opens up in the middle of an upstairs hallway. The two use the two places interchangeably - Chin spends most of her time at home due to the baby, and Sabriel prefers to wander HQ.

New Class System:
It's EASY.
+ You now only need to have one class session for each of the classes listed below (homeschooled, oneXone with teacher, or a multiple student evironment).
+One assignment per class.
+ Just ONE, and only one, research paper.
The Obligatory Classes:
- Language: they'll learn reading, writting, composition and summarizing, as well as proper grammar and spelling
- Maths: they'll learn the 4 basic operations, metrics, basic geometry and problem solving, as well as mathematical and logic puzzles
- Science: they'll learn the basics about plants, animals, space, the body, nutrition, the "Earth" and physics, doing some lab experiments from time to time
- Magic: they'll learn how to use their own magic, the alignments, spell casting, potion making, and other types of magic plus rules on how to use them
- Sports: they'll learn different types of sportive activities, fair play, teamwork and exploring their physical abilities
- Arts: they'll learn the basics about painting, sculpting, crafting and music
The Option Classes:
- Magical Creatures: they'll meet and learn about several types of creatures, both sentient and non-sentient
- Cooking: they'll learn simple recipies, how to deal with the several utensils and how to prevent injuries and disasters in a kitchen
- Project Adventure: they'll learn to have more confidence in themselves and in their partners
