I am so excited! My Marbled Crayfish is berried for the first time! The first hint was when I didn't see her for a few weeks. I have multiple 3" Terra Cotta pots in all my tanks for caves and she's been hiding in one. The other day I had my boyfriend get her out so I could check on her, and lo and behold, under her tail she was clutching hundreds of little eggs. That explains why she hasn't come out.
It's so cool. I was beginning to think maybe she wasn't really a Marmokreb, then this happens. I can't wait until she has the babies, although most of them will be puffer food straight away. I put up an ad on craigslist and I'm only going to bother to raise the amount I can find homes for.
