Well I am home schooled and thus have lots of free time. I'm not allowed to leave my property I'm 14 and have nothing better to do. So I come here asking, with nothing else to do and games allready here (My older brother owns quite a few and lets me play them all I want) and my family in debt so I can't neccisarely get a hobby... What ammount of video games is right? Do you think Jesus/God hates video games? He says as you behold you are changed.. But I only think that is for those people whom are too young and play M games ( I only play Halo 2 with this label) that are weak willed. Could you give me your input? And also my mom worked at a camp ground when she was around 18 and it had a game room with arcade machines. She played Pac-Man so much, it even drove her to steal quarters to play it! So one night she said a prayer and she FELT something leave her body. After that the urge to play Pac-Man left her. Thanks for reading through my post.

Thanks for reading through my post. i don't think playing video games in general is bad. there are some games out there though that i wouldn't play myself. the ones that promote stealing & killing the police. games with a very demonic centered storyline. these things i can live without. games can affect how people act. it could put someone in a bad mood therefore causing them to have a bad attitude towards others & life. everyone has to choose what games are proper for themselves, but if there is any doubt for someone about a game just ask yourself what would Jesus do?

so um i was wondering if any of you have played runescape. i don't really think that it is a bad game even though it does involve killing things but they are usually monsters and guards and things like that. it also involves stealing but i kinda just think of that as part of the game and not as really the bad thing that it would be in real life. just wondered what everyone thought.

Jesus would let people play video games, but not super violent ones(Grand theft Auto). I bet he would also let us go on Gaia all the time!

Depends on how you play the game, and how you let it affect you.
Just like everything else, it can become sinful if you let it.
