Just wondering what different varieties of Christians there are here in the guild. I'm sorry if this is a repeat thread as it almost certainly is, but I thought it might be interesting nonetheless.
For the record, I'm an agnostic, not a Christian, but my sympathies lie with the Anglicans - though I am also keen on the Salvation Army, the Quakers and the Methodists.

I just consider myself a Christian, plain and simple. According to the Bible, there is only one denomination; we're all part of the Church of Jesus Christ, part of one body. Denomination lines should be as superficial as possible, they shouldn't divide us at all. The differences between most denominations are pretty minor anyway. It's appropriate for churches to be able to practice varying beliefs, that's a good thing since it's doubtful any one denomination could be 100% right about every detail. But we should let Christ define who we are as Christians, not the denomination of the church we go to.
Rather than saying my denomination, I'll just say I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, and that I will be a member of any denomination that I find to be most accurately following that Word.

I don't know what religion I am. I want to say eclectic pagan.....but at the same time I wanna say Agnostic..

i was baptized as a christian
but now i dont really care?
I dont hate god, church or other religion, just want to focus on getting a job and getting through school.

I was raised Southern Baptist, but my husband is Pentecostal so I'm trying to learn more about that.
