{If you were in "Duel to the Death", or are still in Fefga's house, post here. And I could so imagine this song playing now.} When Victoria went, slowly into Fefga's house after the dealings with Rei that left her and many others gravely injured, she was almost scared to find the place empty. Where had everyone gone? She hoped that they were all gone together, and not one-by-one being corrupted by this Darkness.
Stepping into her room, the bishop stared at her supply of spare robes. While being careful not to agitate her wounds, she slipped into some fresh, new clothes and tossed away the rags. Almost shortly after, she collapsed onto the bed, still gripping the Mend staff quite tightly, along with the infamous forged Divine tome. "I hope they show up here quickly... it's not safe outside." she thought. "I just wish... we could have helped that Ancient Magic user. As much as I hate them.. he's so young. He had so much ahead of him. Now.. that could be taken away."

Hearing someone come in, Ashnard quickly ran to the room he heard the noise. Seeing an unfamiliar face laying on a bed, he unsheathed his blade and pointed it at the mysterious character. "Who are you?" he demanded.

Gazing up at the armored one, Victoria cursed herself for not saving her strength to fire off just one more spell if needed. However, she was honest. "Well, I'm a new bishop in this Order... er... Kingdom of Learania. I was here to help, but it seemed like even my rare talents couldn't turn a boy back into himself." Her eyes now fell on Ashnard's. "And... who are you? I hope you're not running with that Asami woman."
{D: Wrong account. Oh well, I'll blue her font, still.}

(I wasn't going to question anything)
"I am Ashnard," he said proudly, sheathing his sword. "The Mad King. Who is this Asami you speak of?"
(Ashnard never learned her name)

"Oh, so you don't even know her. Good, you're not causing trouble." Victoria was at least relieve to hear that, but she wondered why he called himself the 'Mad King.' She didn't want to find out, for that's also what they called Bern's King, Zephiel. As battle-hardened as she saw the warrior as though, she didn't feel like he was there to harm her. "Asami... is the one causing all this mess. Even my rarities... my light magic and my staff were not enough to fend off these fiends."

"Is the woman you speak of the one that came from the Door?" the ex-king questioned. He then pulled up a chair and sat down, though the combined weight of him and his armor nearly broke it.

"I'm guessing. She's definitely not of this world. I haven't seen anything even close to her, unless she's a distant relative of the Manakete." Victoria stated, using the respectful term that the dragons also called themselves.

"No one has said anything about her transforming into a dragon," Ashnard stated. "But then again, I haven't heard much about her looks in the first place. Just that she attacks seemingly random people."

"Reptilian... is what I heard." Victoria said. "I forget the source... my head is swimming right now. That stupid boy... if only he would have learned different magic besides the ancient arts, I think he would have turned out fine."

"Do you mean that damned Dark magic user.. Rei?" It was obvious that the Mad King did not like Rei. For whatever reason, it look as though he would kill the boy on sight.

"As much as I hate them all... Shamen, Druids, whatever you call them... he was not himself." Victoria confessed. "I thought my powers were always enough to purge all evil. Always. I don't want to believe that fool is truly that way.... as much as I hate to admit it."

"He usually isn't but I don't know what's gotten into him. He's usually just hyper-active. But still.." Ashnard looked calmer now. "Is there anything I can do to help you condition Miss...?"

Victoria was floored by Ashnard's words. A great, huge warrior asking to help her, when he looked like he wanted to smash the world in two? Maybe she was just judging him by his looks.
"Ah, yes. I haven't ate for quite sometime. Not since before the battle." Victoria answered. The Mend staff really couldn't do all the work, after all. Humans just couldn't heal without nourishment. "How long has it been since we set out? I don't even remember. Anyway, King Ashnard, if I make such a humble request... anything to eat would be great. Especially meat..."
Oh yes, meat. That would bring her strength right back. The bishop craved it, and some nice slices of homemade bread...

"You never gave me your name. Just where you were from," he said. And with that, he left for the kitchen to cook steak.

Oujay stood up and turned around, so he could leave them alone. He saw one of the bishops started to go back to Fefga's house so he decided to go back too, since things over here were done.
