Sara was picking some berries for an afternoon meal. She was always in a good mood and spirits. Not much ever did get her down. Eventually she walked to the spring to wash off the berries to clean them. "It would be nice to meet other foxes, but I know someday I will run into them."

Fred was lazing in the sun when he heard a splash which made him raise his head slighty. He was surprised to see another fox, a female that was walking in the spring and talking to herself. Too lazy to get up and greet her, he watched for a while, not moving from his spot in the grass.

Sara continued to wash her berries before putting them aside. Eventually she went to pick some flowers for decorations. She hummed to herself before looking at another fox next to them. "Oh...I'm terribly sorry sir if I disturbed your nap."

Fred shook his head. "Nah, you did not bug me but you do have a pretty voice. You should sing more often." Fred said and finally stood and stretched before walking a little ways after her. "I wasn't expecting others in this area to be honest.

Sara giggled a bit. "Thanks...I often do when I'm out here." She looked at him. "Well no one really notices me. I'm as common as foxes go." She sighed a bit before smiling. "Although sometimes the simple things are the best."

Fred nodded. "Yeah, well normally most notice me, I kind of stick out color wise but doesn't bother me. I just sleep through most of it which is why I do not notice much. So who are you? My name is Fred, pretty common."

Sara pranced up to him. "Well you definitely have a nice coloring about you." She paused for a second. "Nice to meet you Fred. I'm Sara, although it's probably a plain name too." She looked down for a moment. "So do you come out here often?"

Fred nodded. "I am to lazy to find another area to sleep in and this one suits me just fine. Nice and sunny with a good breeze. So you could say I am always here now a days. How about you? Do you have a place you frequent? Or enjoy a lot?"

Sara paused for a second. "Well I know of where some nice hot springs are at." she pondered a bit more. "Also I like the flower fields to make decorations." She smiled. "So I'm taking a guess you're a laid back type of fox then?"

Fred nodded. "Yeah, pretty much. More like I am just lazy. But it has always worked for me." Then he paused. "Please don't tell me your a busy body who is out to fix my bad habits?" There was a look of horror on his face as he thought about this scenario.

Sara shook her head. "No I'm not out to fix you, but I am curious about you." She cocked her head to the side. "Is there a certain reason why?" She didn't mind talking to him and was actually enjoying that she finally had been able to get in contact with a fox lazy or not. "I mean the fox has to decide if he or she wants to be changed in the end. I wouldn't see much hope in me doing that."

Fred laughed. "Your okay then. I do not know, just easier to be lazy and have had no reason to do otherwise. I like things simple and try to avoid complications as much as possible. They just cause trouble and I don't want any trouble." he explained as best he could.

Sara nodded her head. "I see. I guess that is true. Although sometimes you got to do harder things if you want other things." She shook her head. "But as long as you're content with your lifestyle then that's what matters." She stretched out a bit. "I don't want any trouble either."

Fred nodded. "Yeah, I am sure, if there was something important to me, I will get off my lazy butt and get whatever needed done, done. So guess it is just a matter of time before I give up my lazing about days. And trouble is best left alone. Good motto. So what do you want to do? I am up now and might as well move around a bit." he asked her.

Sara nodded her head. "I'm sure you would." She paused for a second. "Well do you like swimming or..." She trailed off for a bit not sure what he considered fun. "Or maybe a nice walk?" The blue fox sighed for a second. "I'm really not sure what you consider fun."
