Jouko had heard an explosion, not far from where she'd been training. She was naturally curious, and of course she had to make sure no one was hurt. So she dashed through the trees until she spotted an odd looking male. Well, he wasn't odd as in, scary, or ugly odd. No, he was more of an exotic, out-of-this-world, odd.
She slowly approached him, and it was obvious he was the cause of the explosion. "Are you alright?"

Brice shook his head and coughed, trying to get the dust out of his lungs. As the smoke cleared completely, he poked the thing he was working on. "Again?" he asked to himself. Right after, he turned as he heard a female voice, he glanced around and saw a pretty girl, "Uhh...Yeah, I'm ok..." He said a bit quietly, shy at meeting the first fox out of his family.

"Are you sure...? You seem a bit shocked." Jouko smiled up at the male, and looked at the little scrap metal he had been working on. "I'm Jouko...Jouko Kurenai. Pleasure to meet you...but what exactly were you trying to make?" She looked from the metal, back up to him, and then with a small smirk she looked back to the metal and poked the still semi-warm contraction.

Brice smiled lightly, "I'm just surprised about the sudden explosion...." he looked down at her playing with the pieces of now scrap metal, then brought his head back up, looking her over some more. "I'm Brice Engins...and that stuff is...well was... going to be a gift for my new little sister" He wanted to give each of his new family members a gift for his sudden arrival.

Jouko smiled and looked up at Brice, holding back a small giggle of excitement. "You have a little sister? That so cute that you're making her a gift. But you know...most girls, enjoy...girly gifts?" It struck her that she';d never really received a gift that she really enjoyed, few actually. "Maybe like a bead set...?" She shook her head, laughing a bit. "Forget I ever said anything at all, it's very thoughtful." She continued to smile as she continued to examine him, while pretending to be totally interested in his gadget.
He was tall, well compared to her anyone was tall, and he hair stuck out in crazy angles. He was smudged in dirt from head to toe, and he looked ready to take on the world.

Brice grinned at Jouko, "That sounds like a good idea, accually." He did a quick nod then looked away with a slight blush, but kept a small grin, "I know how to make different jewelry accually, I was taught by my father how to." He didn't know if that would be the best to say, but he was better with some jewelry because it didn't blow up. He brought his head to its normal postion, then brought his eyes to her face, but not before he glanced over her again. She really was cute, especially with her light fur and curls, she was almost the exact opposite of him.

A blush crossed Jouko's face as she felt his eyes look her over. Hopefully her shyness was hidden behind all the red she wore. "Nice to see I can actually give out some good advice." She smiled sweetly and was going to hand him his trinket, when she stepped on her scarf and toppled forward. "Ep!" She squeaked as she pitched forward at Brice.

Brice's eyes widened as she went forward, then he brought his paws out to catch her before they hit. Right when he got ahold of her, he wrapped his arms around unitentionally. "Whoa...Are you ok?" he asked with a slight blush. He had never hugged any girl before other than his mother, so he wasn't sure of him self as he loosened his grip

Jouko's face must have been blood red when Brice caught her, wrapping his arms around her in a delicate hug. She eventually got her footing again and look up, only to realize how close she was to Birce.
She'd never fallen in love so quickly in her life! She was so nervous she couldn't even mutter a thank you, or I'm sorry. She just stared at him dumbfounded.

Brice looked down at her in his arms and felt the blush burn his cheeks more under his fur, silently thanking the Goddess for his dark fur so she wouldn't see it. She was definately the prettiest thing he had ever seen, her staring up at him with her big blue eyes and her now red tinted fur. He ablsolutely knew that he wouldn't be able to forget this moment. After a minute, he slowly dropped his arms from around her, not really sure what he should do and say.

Jouko took a step back, once his arms were gone, and was careful not to slip again. "Sorry about that..." She managed to get a hold of herself a bit and she smiled, looking up at him. "I'm a total klutz, despite my profession." The Klutzy Ninja, that was how everyone referred to her back home, and that was part of the reason she was sent away for training.

Brice smiled back at her, "No worries, I know how you feel though, I'm suppost to be an inventor like the rest of my family, but I swear, I could make anything explode without trying," He laughed lightly, directed at himself. Since he picked up his first tool, he had been called Boomer, Ashes, and anything along those lines for the explosions he made.

Jouko laughed along with Brice, it was odd how they were both complete failures in their professions. "I would offer some help, but I'm not so good at gadgets with, but I could help with you Sister's gift it you like." She could help his plan on the jewelery while he actually made it. She was quite the artist, that was about the only thing she was good at.

Brice smiled widely at Jouko, "Yes, that would be great. I can never start off my projects," After a quick thought he smiled down a bit wider at her, "Have you ever tried making jewelry in steampunk style? That's the only thing I can do really really well."

Jouko shook her head, looking a little surprised. "Nope, can't say I have." She was up for anything new really.
