It was raining out side. Which was very odd and utterly unfair, because Grace had been looking forward the entire day to reclining against the large rocks down by the lake. And even though she still could technically do that, Lenne would be complaining the whole time about his pretty white fur getting wet and Grace wasn't in the mood to listen to his whines. So instead, she had to make due with exploring the castle. Grace wasn't totally unhappy with this. The castle was old and mysterious and seemed to be always changing, and Grace's curiosity loved that. She had started off from the Hufflepuff common room, visited the kitchens, turned left at the stairs, found a passageway that led up to the Hospital Wing (though she could have sworn there hadn't been any type of stairs...), spun around twice, dizzily walked down several mysterious corridors, locked herself in two empty classrooms, and was currently stumbling around in the near-darkness of the dungeons. She had no idea how she'd gotten back down there, and even less then that of an idea of where in the dungeons she even was. Grace let out a small "Hmmm," And ran her thing, pale fingers along the cold stoney walls. It was too dark to see anything of much use, even with using magic to light up her way (something she decided against using, by the way, because that took the fun out of exploring). With any luck, some form of Slytherin or another would stumble upon her and take her back to the surface...

Je m'appelle Christophe! Ça va? I wake up every evening With a big smile on my face And it never feels out of place. Christophe yawned, covering his mouth with the hand that wasn't in his sweatshirt pocket. He wasn't wearing his robes, it was too annoying. After classes he usually took them off and put on muggle clothes. Chris was heading back down to the dungeons when he saw a rather odd looking person, to him anyways. What an odd hair color she had! He'd never seen blue and green hair. Her robes weren't Slytherin, they were hufflepuff colored instead. Chris bit his lip in thought, debating whether to help the girl or not. She didn't look like a first year, she had to know her way around the castle a bit better by now.
"Excusez-moi." He began, forgetting that he was supposed to speak english. "Oh, Sorry. You're a 'Ufflepuff aren't you?" Christophe added, hoping he hadn't scared her by suddenly speaking. Rather than ask her if she were lost, he would start with that. He didn't pull out his wand for light either, didn't want her to think he was going to hex her. When you see my face I hope it gives you hell, I hope it gives you hell When you walk my way, I hope it gives you hell, I hope it gives you hell <3 (( What time of day did you want it to be, just so I know? I put that it was after classes. And, Happy easter! :3 Hope this is alright, I've been told characters can be in more than on place at once XD.))

((Late evening works for me. And also, they're in the dungeons, so there wouldn't really be any windows, would there?)) _____________
Grace jumped at the voice, and immediately turned to face the speaker. It was still too dark to really see anything properly, but she managed to make out the silhouette of what appeared to be a young gentlemen. Though it was very dark and Hogwarts was a magical place, so she could have been wrong. Still, she let her surprised expression melt away and be replaced with a relaxed, friendly smile.
"Why yes. Yes I am." Grace's fingers moved to flick a green lock out of her face. "My name's Grace." She didn't bother stating her last name. It wasn't important. "And actually, I'm pretty relieved that you're here. I'm a bit lost, you see." Grace's purple eyes swept around her, and she made a small 'hmm' sound, and her smile widened. "Could you help me?"

Je m'appelle Christophe! Ça va? I wake up every evening With a big smile on my face And it never feels out of place. Ah well, so much for not scaring her. Christophe felt like he should have apologized but the thought left as quick as it had come. Apologies weren't his best subject. "Christophe." He said, answering the same way as she had. Last names weren't always necessary. Sometimes people recognized his last name from his mother's charm books. Most people never even made the connection. "Vat year are you?" Chris asked sounding a bit amused. People got lost so easily in the dungeons. Anyone who wasn't a Slytherin usually avoided the dark part of the castle. It was cold down there too, because it was under the lake.
"Back to someplace you know or to ze 'ufflepuff common room?" He questioned. She seemed to be smiling, like it was an adventure for her. "'Opefully ze caretaker doesn't find us." He said glancing down the hall both ways as if the grumpy man would appear any moment. He usually chose to stay out of the dungeons as well. Christophe being paranoid pulled out his wand, just incase he needed it. If he used it for light someone was sure to find them. In a sudden lightbulb moment, the red head realized that he was supposed to lead her out of the dungeon. "Follow me." He said walking by her. She had probably missed a set of stairs or something. When you see my face I hope it gives you hell, I hope it gives you hell When you walk my way, I hope it gives you hell, I hope it gives you hell <3 (( Right! No windows ><.))

Grace didn't ask for his last name, either. After all, then she'd probably have to give hers, and who wanted to be introduced as the failure of the Pinkstone name? Definitely not Grace, Not that she was a failure, or anything. "It is very nice to meet you, Christophe." Grace replied with a broad and sincere grin. "I'm in 5th year, currently. What about you?" And only two years away from finally being able to graduate and leave her grandmother's influence for good. With the exception of holidays, at least.
Grace considered his next question for a moment, savoring the sound of his accent. Oooh, if only hers was more interesting...sure, sometimes when speaking too quickly Grace would adopt a kind of American drawl from her childhood years, but other then that, hers was just plain, plain, plain British. "Why not make it someplace I know?" She answered, with another thoughtful 'hmm'. She was, after all, still trying to waste time. And what fun would it be if she went directly back to the common room? Grace didn't feel the need to take out her wand as he did, for she didn't sense any danger coming from him. Toward her, that is. She obediently began to follow him at his command.
It was rare, for a Slytherin to help another student. Especially a Hufflepuff Fifth year with multi-colored hair that had been silly enough to get herself lost. Grace really was grateful for his help, and she admitted such out loud.
"Thank you for helping me. Really, I don't know what I would have done if you didn't run into me..." Lenne poked his white head out of her loosely covered (for breathing purposes) messenger bag. He nudged her hand in question, and she gently 'shh'ed him. No need for curious little ferrets to possible make a situation worse. If it wasn't for him, they wouldn't have been lost to begin with.

Je m'appelle Christophe! Ça va? I wake up every evening With a big smile on my face And it never feels out of place. "Sixth year. One year away." He said frowning. One more year of Hogwarts. One more year and he'd be out on his own. Well in the wizarding world anyways. Scary thought. He couldn't even drive yet. Muggle cars were hard to drive. he was planning on apparating for the rest of his life...if he ever learned how to do that! The temperature seemed to be getting a little warmer, it must have meant that they were getting closer to the surface. He didn't mind the cold of the dungeons when he had a sweatshirt, sometimes he wondered how the other slytherins dealt with it.
"Oh. Eet's fine. Leaving you to wander ze 'all would be mean." Christophe replied. Any other slytherin would have left her in the hallway all night, or they would have made fun of her. The red head couldn't say that he would have liked either one. He turned in time to see the ferret, a small smile appeared. "'Ere vee are. Ze dungeons are so cold." Chris said stopping for the moment. "Know vhere you are?" He asked. He couldn't hear any footsteps or people coming, grace was lucky. Usually if he wandered around at night the caretaker or someone else would catch him. When you see my face I hope it gives you hell, I hope it gives you hell When you walk my way, I hope it gives you hell, I hope it gives you hell <3 (( I swear it looked longer >> Sorry if the accent sucks, I'm getting back into it XD ))

Grace peered around for a short moment, before shaking her head. She was grinning now, and nearly bouncing.
"Nope--not at all." But even Grace could tell that she was somewhere near the enterance hall. Or close enough, anyway. She was sure she'd be able to at least find her way. And if Worse came to worse, she knew which direction not to wonder in now. It was lighter here, and now Grace could almost fully see her savior. Her odd-colored eyes lingered on his odd colored eyes for a moment. And then she shifted her bag and held out her hand. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Christophe. If you want, you can come with me..." Grace paused, then smiled, almost sheepishly. "Well--I'm not actually going anywhere. Just wondering. But you're welcome to come with me, still." And who knew? It might even be fun to talk to someone who could actually logically talk back, instead of just Lenne.
And Christophe didn't seem so bad...sure, he was a Slytherin...but he'd helped her! So maybe they could be friends...
