Meirou wasn't exactly sure what to say when she was given money by Kanna for ANOTHER day on her own. Had the human's trust of her grown? Slightly? ....No way. Not after the time she had dropped Kanna's precious doll from the table. To find it's velocity. sweatdrop
The Porcelain girl sighed as she sat out in the park again. Old Man Winter had finally given up, and the sun shone in the small pond near her seat. The fish danced in the water, knowing all too well of her crumbs from a sandwich.
Meirou groaned, flopping over to her side as she projected absolute BOREDOM. What fun was watching Kanna rehearse when you had no one to watch with? None. That was why she was in the park. But STILL bored.
She could only hope that someone INTERESTING would come by.

Beautiful weather, perfect sunlight, a soft cool breeze to balance the warmth the sun brought......yes, a perfect day to play in the park!.....again.
Ren'i was getting quite used to finding his way around Barton. He felt quite safe, despite the world still being fairly strange to him....perhaps because he knew that somehow his Gaian guardian seemed to know where he was, what he was doing and if he needed help, as she had proven with Tsubei.
Carrying his precious violin in its case, he found the perfect spot near a small pond where the sun danced on the ripples and the scales of the swimming fish. Did he have his inhalers with him? Check pockets.......ah yes, good.
He set down his case upon the grass, opened it and produced his glossy, shining dark cherry finished stringed instrument of beauty. Once his bow was properly rosined up, he placed the violin under his chin and found the right fingerings. Softly he began to play, a happy sounding tune that he discovered was called La Pastorale. The rhythm reminded him of the animals called deer, leaping about through meadows and thickets.
This was a test of his ability.........and if he remembered as much of the music as he had hoped.

Meirou sighes at the sound of music. Is the symphony playing outside....? She glances over to where they would be and...No one. Then where is the music coming from? :Gonk:
Reaching for her physics book, she notices Ren'i playing. Oh...No need for equations. ....Wait.....Is he...a Porcelain?
Meirou watches him intently for a few more seconds, taking in observations. Yes. Probably.
She hesitates a bit, not wanting to stop the beautiful music before sending a tiny greeting, just ever so lightly imposed. Meirou then shrinks back a bit, hoping he'll keep on playing.

Out here in the open park, believing he is alone, Ren'i is smiling genuinely as he plays and practices his solo-ized piece. True, the piece itself sounded much better as a whole symphony, but he loved the string part so much that it sounded just fine on its own to him.
It wasn't until he felt the small greeting that he opened his eyes and looked over in the direction it came from. It was another Porcelain.....and a girl! He faltered a bit in the rhythm, but he did not stop playing as he sent his hesitant returning greetings to her.
Ren'i did not know there was another here. Did he interrupt her? He asked gently as he noticed the book she had in her hand.

Meirou squeaks slightly when she hears the slight falter. Oh no! She made him mess up! gonk
Meirou is so sooorrryyy for making him mess up his music! And no, Meirou was not interrupted at all! She has done the interrupting! sweatdrop And it's so pretty...Meirou would like it if he kept on playing!
The girl nods eagerly, listening happily as she set her book aside. Music was so much more interesting than running through old problems...Meirou has done them all! gonk Kanna must buy her a new book!
