This is who I am, This is what I've become. I've become a burden to you and in your pathetic world.
Shiver runs down my spine as I remembered what you had last done to me, It made me hurl. Pads tread lightly on the moist earth as I made my way to a little opening in this jungle. My petite frame bended between the framework of the trees with ease until I found a place to rest for a few. It wasnt very big, but it was on the edge of the jungle rim that others could see into. The light filtered in from the canopy and lingered on my pelt, I felt a bit of warmth enter my cold, beaten body. It made the pain fade into nothing, although my enjoyment I found in it faded as well. Then the light began to play its enticing dance in the golden hues of my eyes. Purr ripped forth my neck and into the open. Someone would hear. Someone would come and take this burden out of my head. I just need something to do. I scraped the ground with my nails, tidbits of dirt and moss clung my my darkened paws. Pillars atop my skull twitched with every noise that rose up from the depths of the jungle.
Here I am alone, and bored.

William strolled into the clearing, with his customary casual air, as though nothing in the world was really all that serious. His ears flicked around, listening to the many songs of the jungle, from running water, to birds, to the trees themselves. He smoothly jumped to the top of a fallen log on the edge of the jungle, turning his head to regard the beautiful female standing in the clearing, just watching and smiling, his golden fur almost shimmering in the sunbeam that he had just 'happened' to pause in.
After a moment, he flicked his ears forward and nodded. "Good afternoon there! A lovely day, is it not?" He smiled casually, wondering if the female even wanted company, or if she'd simply ignore him, as happened on occasion. Some could simply not understand his light, calm view of everything.

My eyes were fixated on the earth I seemed I couldn't stop messing with. I exhaled, my breath turned into steam as it hit the surrounding air. I was cold blooded and I could feel my heart caking over with ice. I am Dark. I am evil. I like to be the cause of much mayhem. Chuckle slipped from my lips and infiltrated into the open. My tail lashed across my flank as my ears picked up subtle vibrations from a disturbance.
My cranium turned to face that golden wonder atop a fallen log. My ears flicked back across my skull then forward again. The fur on my back laid flat across my spine, I'm not one to fear unless you prove it to me. A smile flashed across my lips, Is it afternoon already? My frame moved towards to male to get a better look to what he is. I stopped a yard or so before his glimmering pelt. My eyes glanced upwards to the beams of light that fell from the sky. It's tranquil, yes. I guess it's a good day.
"Why yes It is, what is it that brings you to this part of the jungle?"
I maybe cruel, but I won't show it to those who are not on my hit list. I chuckled at my thoughts.

He sat down, carefully re-arranging his footing to maintain his balance on the log, digging his claws into the bark with a most satisfying little crunch. Again he took a few moments before speaking, simply observing the female in front of him, watching her posture and subvocal language. He noted especially the vibrant, blood-red colouring of her chest and... perhaps a bit on the underside of her wings? He couldn't quite tell, and he guessed that he'd find out at some point, so he'd just wait until then.
"What really takes me anywhere?" He smiled, his ears perked amicably forward. "In this case, I found such a nice breakfast this morning, then decided that I hadn't been over this way in a while, so I should probably just stroll on over and have a look." He crunched his claws into the bark again, a satisfied, content kneading motion. "It's amazing what you can find when you just drift, you know?"

I was rather transfixed on the male and his balancing act. Im not used to having ones find me, I normaly have to go out on my own and find males to seduce to befriend them, and then some. I giggled to myself at that thought. it sent a chill down my spine remembering all those who I have met from my lustful nature. Though none have sparked my fancy, it's quite sad. My eyes traveled over the freckles on his legs. You sir, are an interesting fellow, You just have to look to the trees to find some that resemble me.
My ears were transfixed forward to catch all that he had said as he rocked ever so slightly on that log of his. A glint flashed through my eye as I pictured him falling. It wouldn't be a mean shove. Just a comical gesture that would end up making me giggle and feel some sort of sweet satisfaction. My left ear twitched in suspense, Food eh? That is a good motivation for travel. He had finished his speech, its only common courtesy to return the favor.
"Indeed, It's better to wander with out much purpose than having one. You go so much farther without thinking about it." I paused, feeling a sharp stab in my gut. Hunger. I squinted one eye and I gave myself a rather disgruntled look.
"I'm Hungry.." I pined without noticing that I had said that aloud.
I took a few steps closer to the male, We haven't met before. My pads stopped in the earth just before him and I relaxed on my haunches, finally sitting down. My eyes glanced upwards and my pupils slitted against the beams of light, I do love my eyes when they do that. Always, ever so enticing.
"I'm sorry, My name is Cruelty. It's been a pleasure so far."
I grinned, my tail wrapped around my toes, My wings somewhat outstretched, like a just perched pigeon back from a popcorn hunt.

William looked over at the pretty female standing beside him, because he was crouched down and she was standing, their eyes were only a few inches apart. He smiled, glad that someone understood that his wanderings had a purpose in their deliberate, styled purposelessness. ... Although, at that point was it really without purpose? He decided to ponder more on that one later, perhaps once his day was done, and he had found a nice, sun-warmed rock to nap on. He drew his attention back to Cru, and nodded.
"It's good to see that someone else understands. Hmmm, food certainly would not go amiss, I would say. Perhaps we should find something to eat, then?" He offered his assistance in a co-operative hunt casually, curious what she'd say to that. "My name is William, and it's likewise been a pleasure." He flicked his ears in a polite greeting. What amazing eyes she had, and such a beautiful coat!

My dark velveteen ears stood erect atop my pretty little facade, taking in all these words that were falling from above. There was a knocking in the upper part of my throat, it was constant and only happened when I was content. It's a weird thing to do, it was like a little engine stuck inside of my windpipe. Why? I tired to silence it but it laughed at me and struck my vocals harder. I have lost a battle against myself, but the war is not over. I chuckled to myself, then returned my attention to the male as soon as the word "food." My stomach roared. A shy smile latched itself on my kissers, I love food. I unhitched my tail from around my feet and stood up. I was ready to go William, let's do this the proper way. "Well then William, let's go kill us a feast." I grinned, blatantly staring at his glorious coat and massive frame, He wasn't lacking in the looks department of Cru, like some cats were. My tongue traced the edges of my fangs, it sent a chill down my spine. My icy heart beat faintly in the dark oblivion of my chest cavity. It's been a while since I've felt it's presence, I guess I am still living. My frame turned to the side to show a general direction to travel in. I smelt food, but it was in many directions. Its best just to choose one.

"A most erudite idea, I would say, Cru." William smiled at her soft purr, and the quite-unladylike growl from her stomach, managing not to chuckle aloud, although a smile crept across his face. This female was so different, so unique! He could see that already, and he'd only been around her for a few minutes.
He flowed in that catlike way down from the log, almost reluctant to take his claws from the yielding wood, although with any luck he would have a chance to use them shortly on something far more satisfying to a predator's instincts and drives. He paused a moment to admire the female beside and slightly in front of him, so lithe and pretty, with such beautiful markings. The wings, he decided, the wings were what really made her so gorgeous. The black with white tips was simply glorious.
"So, what do you feel like making a kill on today? There are so many options, this jungle is an absolute buffet for a skilled predator." He smiled, showing the tips of his fangs slightly, running the tip of his tongue over them. "And with two of us on the hunt, I doubt there's anything at all in this forest that we can't take."

My eyes wandered over the golden beasts massive frame. It was like a pretty little dance dedicated to one, it was only a dance that I would enjoy. Only one that set my lustful nature on fire. I am not a slut, Nor a prostitute. I can keep my tail down, and the babies at bay. No, I am one who finds the evil in them, and uses it to my advantage. But you William, Have very little evil. I closed my eyes in pure ecstasy, I saw the muted sunlight shine through my lids. I exhaled and opened them to the world again. My innards were quite angry with my decision not to feast yesterday when I saw that jungle deer. Muscles flexed beneath my two toned canvas, I was not weak, My fur covered up the many scars I have received upon Killing a few, but that is for another time. I chuckled to myself, Glancing up at the Male who now stood a bit behind me. His words clung to my ears like a bunch of blood thirsty leaches, eating away at the soft parts that made me for feline. What should we kill today? Oh that answer is easy. I licked my lips, saliva dripped from my pearly white fangs and fell to the mossed floor. I wanted something huge. Something that would fill my entire ego so that I may strut around for days just living on glory. I wanted an... "Elephant." I gave William a coy grin, and nudged him with my side. My claws extracted into the earth once more as I trotted ahead. My dainty frame, rhythmic with the steps I took, Unfaltering and an almost perfect I was. My wings were a bit outstretched to silence the scratch that my claws made upon the tiny stones scattered about. I flashed a smile back at William, hoping he will be up for this. I felt Cunning, This was a good day.

I smiled more broadly, admiring the female more and more. Not merely pretty, but ambitious as well. I wasn't exactly sure where she intended to find an elephant, the only thing I had heard of them was rumors from the other side of the world... Who knew, though? As large as they were reputed to be, they simply had to be a kill that would be so immensely satisfying as to nearly defy comprehension. I nodded my head silently, flicking my ears forward. My claws flexed slightly in anticipation, even if we could not find an elephant, this would most certainly be a hunt to remember. The female, Cruelty, seemed to be a most enthusiastic and probably proficient hunter. We would eat well this day!
"I'm game if we can find one, that sounds like it would be a challenge worthy of our mettle!" I smiled, bearing my fangs slightly. "I've never even heard of one being taken down before, so we could be the first to do it. I'll bet elephant is delicious."
I followed close behind and slightly to the side, splitting my attention between the beautiful female just ahead, and the forest off to the sides. My pads touched lightly on the forest floor, making barely a whisper in the damp loam as I instinctively checked each footfall so that I would not tread on noisy ground. A noisy feline was a hungry feline, and I most certainly did not feel like going hungry this night, especially not when I had another working with me and the opportunity to take real, satisfying prey. I had never worked with a winged hunter before, and was half curious at how she planned to use those gorgeous wings to her advantage, she seemed simply too adept to use them merely in display and for transportation.

I chuckled in his responce, it was about time that someone considered myself as a huntress and not a furry little sex toy. The mere thought of that danced in my mind, played with my sences and heightened my agility. Pistions carried my petite frame through a beaten path, elephants had to have wide paths to accomadte their wide bodies. I licked my lips, a string of saliva hung from my face. I was a hungry feline, but I dare let my stomach to go without suppliment.
I paused in mid-step, "What is this?"the hushed tones fell from my lips and lingered in the air. My claws extracted and dug into the soil. I smelt food. But where? I hung low in the cover of the moss, theres a waiting game, I hate playing it.

I froze in my tracks the instant I saw Cru tense, dropping into a crouch and cautiously sniffing at the air. My ears rotated from side to side trying to find the source of the food I smelled... Capybara, I thought. Not exactly the elephant Cru wanted, but a very good meal and agreeably easy to take. "Well, it's not elephant, but a good spot of Capybara sounds rather tasty to me right about now, Cru." I whispered the words so softly that I could barely hear them, swiveling my ears toward her as I did. "Do you want to split and circle, or try a straight-in rush from here?" Mentally I calculated that either way we would easily be able to take one a piece, but I was curious how Cruelty would choose to make the kill. Directly with simple speed and brute force, or more craftily?
"It's not elephant, but they are tasty, and right there for the plucking." I watched her flex her claws into the ground, gesturing with my nose. "I'd guess about fifty meters, probably down along the stream."

Tweet Tweet, Sweet Little Birdie twin pillars atop my head shifted backwards to pick up the delicate audibles that William had left out into the air. Yes, if we fail with an elephant, we wouldn't have enough strength to try again. That is how felines fail as hunters. I have never hunted one myself, Why? Because I am new to this area. My cranium twists back to look at the brute standing behind me. Sounds good to me I had pretty much mouthed that, words that I could not even here. My eyes closed as I picked up their sent once more. I want the leader, the biggest male in that herd. He will see my colors before anything else. My pelt makes me stand out like a bad tourist. I grinned at William, hoping he will get the hint that we should split up. Cornering him would be nice too.

I watched Cru think for a moment, one ear focused on her, the other still pricked forward to hear any possible sound from the prey. Half from hearing, half from watching her body language I discerned her approval. I nodded, then flicked my head off into the woods to the right, silently indicating that I would move out, then circle in from crosswind. With luck, they'd never even know I was there until I pounced.
I silently stepped off the path, seeing clear spots for my paws to tread, slowing to a careful, methodical stalk, keeping at the boundary of light and shadow, where the eye tracked poorly. The stalk, the part of the hunt that you knew that your prey had no idea you were there, was always the most enjoyable. I carefully avoided a patch of dense branches and made a short jump up onto a fallen tree, looking down on the edge of a small clearing. I saw a half-dozen of the large, pig-like capybara grazing on the far side, and I smiled to myself. Crouching down amidst the tangle of roots that the tree had ripped up from the ground in its fall, I watched the milling herd below, just waiting for Cru to make her move.

Tweet Tweet, Sweet Little Birdie I watched him leave, stalking off to spot just above them. Grin pursed my lips as I darted off the beaten path, my steps were quick and silent, I knew exactly how to place my self to make such a quiet entrance. My frame hung low to the sod, the bushes were only so big that I couldn't do this in a comfortable manor. Oh well, my nares caught wind of the capybara again, Heh - now to make my move.
My wings were held outstretched as my flight feathers tickled the earth as I snaked my way to the head of the pack. I smirked knowing this would be easier than it looked because the wind shifted in my favor; Picking up my sent and pushing it away from my soon to be happy meal. My muscled tensed, drawing lines throughout my glorious canvas that laid upon my back. I saw the two I wanted, Just two this time. My irons longed to rip through the whole heard bringing down about five or so. Murderous I was, simply murderous.
I had drawn close to the clearing, only about a few leaves from being seen. I flashed a sly smile up to my team mate, If this went well- I would have spooked them right up the ridge to meet William at the other end. It was My plan as of right now. The large male I had picked out for myself drew near the clearing right in front of me, Ironic and God-moding right? Im a jerk, I know. I drew in, I needed more speed to this pounce if I was to get my hopeful two pig dinner. My heart grrew still- my eyes fixated at it nosed through the leaves and finally- He met my claws. Wings propelled my petite frame from its shadows as my talons met their mark with this capybara's jugular- ripping it somewhat out as I bounded to my next prey. I had used him as a catapult as well, Heh, cat-a-pult. I tucked my wings in and my body dropped in on the second like a dive bombing bird of some fashion. I simply mauled this one. Looking up from this one I could feel my body searching for more. No it yearned for more. I wanted more.
The demon within me screamed for more, do I feed it? I think so. My wingspan was astronomical- and the capybara took to my plan like the pigs they were. They darted up the slope, I behind them swatting at their rumps and lashing across their backs. Oh did this feel good.
