((The Halloween bash has been extended till Wednesday night due to the craziness over the halloween weekend, laggy servers, etc :3 ))


Seemingly overnight, a HUGE tent/pavilion has been erected on the outskirts of the village, by the river. The material of the tent itself is alternating orange and black, and tiny pumpkin-shaped lights are strung up along its edges.

It is open-air on all sides, but the ground has been covered with a sort of tarp-like material to keep guests' feet from getting dirty/muddy. Black and orange baloons are strewn across the floor, rubber spiders, snakes and rats area also tucked in surreptous spots. "Spider webs" cling to the upper areas of the tent, and carved jack-o-lanterns sit on each of the tables.

*A huge stereo system has been istalled on a small stage on one side of the tent, with a massive array of music selections (to later be taken to the entertainment room).

*Also, along with the stereo equipment is a karaoke machine and a microphone, with a MASSIVE listing of available songs to karaoke.

*Lining another side of the tent is a huge table of snacks, finger-food, and drinks (including alcohol). Included in the selection are jack-o-lantern cookies, frozen grapes in a big bowl, meatballs on toothpicks, Finger-sandwiches (shaped like fingers) - with ketchup for dipping sauce, "Frog's eye salad", toasted pumpkin seeds, red fruit jello (with strawberries in it) that looks like one of the lab gloves was used as a moulde, green punch in a cauldron with dry-ice to make it 'smoke', piles of various types of wrapped candies, and finally, some actual toasted insects in a large bowl. There is also a wide array of alcohol that looks like it was brought over from the beach bar, with several bloody mary's already made up in glasses.

* There are several chairs and tables set up alongsides the corners of the room, but there is plenty of area in the middle for dancing.

* There is a large tub full of water, with some apples floating in it tucked behind stage, presumably to be used at a later point.

• All Guild rules apply, including do not attack staffmembers without the understanding that you will be disabled via chip before anything succeeds. You can ATTEMPT to fight if it would be in character, but keep in mind that it would be stopped before anything serious happens.
  
• You can wander in and out as time allows. But if you do wander out, for the courtesy of others, please do a temporary write-out for your character.
  
• This thread will remain open until Midnight at the end of Halloween (Monday) Night. In-game, this all happens in the course of one night.

Julian smiled nervously as he came ambling into the tent...a rather large top hat casting a shadow over his green eyes. An oversized green jacket hung around his thin form, a white dress shirt beneath - and a perky little bowtie around his neck.

His pants were checkered and rather too big - they almost totally covered his black dress shoes. But he didn't mind so much...in fact, he looked rather pleased with his outfit.

He tucked a stray strand of his slicked-back hair behind his ear, looking around.

The Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat all rolled into one.

How puzzling.

Awen looked up at the two who entered the tent and grinned. "Happy Halloween Amaya!" She waved from the cluster of chairs. "Excellent costume Julian!" She possitively beamed. At first glance it didn't seem Awen had a costume. Indeed she was just in her plain clothes. She held up the plate she had. "Try the jelloy stuff it's delicious!"

Lauren walks into the halloween party fully costumed as... Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz?!

Well, she kind of looked like her, only with a twist. Lauren had painted her face pale as could be, dark circles under her eyes. The costume was ripped and torn and seemed more gothic lollita than anything. Her red slippers were sparkly red boots that came up to Lauren's things, very long boots considering how tall she is.

Undead gothic lollita dorothy from the wizard of ozz perhaps? She even had the brown pigtail wig to top the costume off.

She smiled nervously at everyone, "Hey Jul, Awen.... Amaya." Lauren kind of hoped Amaya wouldn't squirt her serious makeup off.

Hungry.... Lauren headed straight to the snack table and loaded up her plate.

She giggled and waved at Lauren too. The party was starting to get people filtering in. She looked passed the lot towards town and birefly wondered in Jamal would really come or not.... hearing Amaya comment on her lack of costume Awen shook her head.

"Not at all not at all!" She puufed herself up a little bit. "I am in the costume of something that is increasingly rare on the island." She spread her arms out as though Amaya had missed something obvious. "I am a normal human being!"

She giggled a little bit and flooped her arms back down. "Kinda lame... but I only heard of the party like..yesterday, what else was I going to do?"

With the whipping noise of a cape being tossed about in the night air, another top-hatted figure entered the scene. A tallish man with long (brushed!) white hair worn loose, pointed ears, claws and fangs wearing a rather authentic-looking Victorian suit - complete with cloak.

He looks around at the small grouping of people, flashes a toothy grin, and heads towards the concession table, picking up a goblet of the same red liquid that Julian mistook for punch, and a meatball on a toothpick before turning back to the small crowd of people.

"Good Evening~!" He grinned with an over-exaggerated "Vampire" accent and a laugh.

Lauren smiled widely at all the people around her. What would normally make her nervous and introverted now caused her to be hyper and chipper. All was good for her tonight.

"OOh, Alice... nice costume!" She said to Amaya. Lauren turned and saw Awen, "And human, a rare speciman indeed!!" Lauren lifted up Awen's arm pretending to study in awww as she popped a piece of cheese into her mouth.

She waved at the unusual man she knew had worked as a higher up position in the labs yet she has not ever been formally introduced. Wait a minute... were those ears real?

Hargun entered and seemed upset. Lauren quickly went her direction. "What's the matter Hargun?" She was totally oblivious that her change would cause her to be upset. "If you are upset about your costume... I think it's dead sexy!" She said in a teasing manner.

Lauren sipped the drink Julian was drinking.... why did it taste so bad? Was that her transformation?
