Slowly. Her eyes opened,slowly. She groaned. It was still dark. Rolling over she buried her head in the softness that was her pillow. She sighed. She had to watch the brat today... She grit her teeth and pushed herself up. Ruby's super slick hair slipped over her shoulder. With a grunt she was out of bed and dressed. Why did the little twerp have to get up this early. Without a second thought she left her house and headed toward Venus's house. She banged on the door. Hopefully she would wake the whole house. She smirked . Venus opened the door and Ruby scooped her up and turned to leave. She knew Sara wouldnt mind since she was paying her for this. She smiled and headed to the park. She could amuse the child with butterflies and other unimportant things.

 It was a nice day outside, or so Lyfing thought. It was sunny with a few clouds but there was a warm breeze. He sighed happily while sitting on a bench near the park. He didn't really expect to meet anyone, it was kind of early, but he was okay with that. He looked around and smiled a little. He hadn't been outside in a while lately, so he was happily enjoying the moment.

And she set the child on her feet and not a breath later that child was running away. Great! "VENUS YOU GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE NOW!!!!" So much for a quiet morning. She ran after Venus and scooped her up. ""I refuse to carry you all day.... " She nodded. "SO be good!" She set Venus down again and once more the child ran. Ruby growled...
Venus ran happily down the side walk. There was a man sitting on a bench... She Smiled and ran up to him. "'lo...me Venus...." She smiled at him and fluffed her multi colored hair.

Lyfing looked down and was surprised to see a girl addressing him. "Uh... Hi Venus." He said smiling at her. He got kind of nervous around others but kids he could handle. "I'm Lyfing." He said in reply to her introduction. "You have very pretty hair."

Venus smiled running her hand through the multiple shades of blond. "Tank you..." She smiled again and then looked over her shoulder "Uh-oh.... Angry..." She moved to the other side of his knees so she was that much farther away from Ruby.
Ruby glowered. She yelled again "WHERE Did you go twerp!!!" She stared at her. Perfect now she was talking to strangers. "Venus! Get your behind over here..." Venus made a squeaking sound so Ruby grit her teeth and marched forward

Lyfing saw Venus move to the other side of his knees, wondering what was going on, until he looked where Venus had and saw the angry female coming toward them. He started to panic a little when he heard the female yell. "Uh... " He couldn't really think of anything to say as the female marched toward them. So instead, he just had this surprised look on his face and didn't move, hoping he wouldn't get yelled at.

Venus cowered back "She is angry...." Venus crawled up on the bench next to him. "'rotect me?" Ruby could have laughed. "Venus... i think our walk is over... you ruined my day you dont have to ruin his..." Ruby was normally cold and distant it came from having parents who were never around. She reached around Lyfing and took Venus by the arm. Her red eyes flashed to the males. "I apologize... she is usually very....well behaved..."

Lyfing was about to say something to Venus when the older female talked. He looked a little sad for a second. Surely this Venus didn't ruing the girl's day already? He listened again when the other apologized. He was a little surprised. "No, it's alright, I wasn't doing much of anything anyway." He replied, smiling to the girl. "She's probably just full of energy. It is the start of the day and it looks like it's going to be a good one too." He said, looking up at the sky again and then back to the girl.

Ruby glanced up at the sky. There were still little specks that could almost be seen. "Stars!" She glanced at Venus. "Yeah Thats right" She scooped venus into her arms and smiled. "Im Ruby... And this is Venus... I...How would you like to come walk with us... that is...if your not waiting for someone."

Lyfing got off of the bench, stretching a little. "I'm Lyfing." He said, Replying to Ruby's introduction. "That sounds great! I was just enjoying the day. I wasn't doing anything in particular really." He said a little nervously. He was shy around others so he was trying not to make himself look like an idiot.

Ruby smiled. The only happy expression she had worn all day. "Thats great!...Well not the you being alone part... i meant... oh...never mind." She smiled all the more to cover up her bluster. "Lets...uh...go"
"Ice Cream!!!" Venus squirmed in Ruby's arms. "Ice Cream!"

Lyfing nodded his head in agreement to Ruby. He blushed a little when he saw Ruby smiling. He started to wonder if he was blushing because of how shy he was, or if it was something else... He then heard Venus he couldn't help but laugh a little. "Ice cream? For breakfast? I've never had that before..." He said. "So, do you want to go Ruby?"

Venus Wiggled her way out of Ruby's Arms. Marching over she stood in front of Lyfing"Venus up!Up!"
Ruby smirked. "You better... when i gnored her last time i was bitten." She looked around. "I dont know Venus... I think that we should eat healthy." Venus shook her head. "Ice Cream!!!"

Lyfing laughed once again and picked up the energetic mystic. "I don't know Venus... Maybe we should go for something healthy. Ice cream should come later. It won't help you grow you know." He said to the girl in his arms. He looked over at Ruby. "Maybe we should go somewhere where they serve breakfast. It would be slightly more healthy I believe."

Ruby grinned"Yeah that sounds great." Venus however growled. "Me want Ice Cream NOW!!!" Ruby sighed and reached to take the squirming child. "She isnt usually this bad... Im so sorry. I wont hold you to thi walk" she laughed softly
