The days seemed to have passed by rather quickly after the duel between Maki and Cariseka. After having that really tiring and difficult training, it took Maki a good day or two before all her bruises and cuts healed. In a way she regretted not winning the duel, but the experience was well worth it. Now, she was feeling herself become more excited by the chance to meet with one of the knights at the academy. So now, sitting outside of one of the classrooms in the academy, Maki is quietly waiting for a Sith knight that seemed to want to speak with her. Of course, Maki couldn’t help but hope that it would be for the reason for becoming her apprentice. At least that is what she was hoping.

With her petite stature and flowing robes, Orphala seemed to float more than walk. Her avian appearance further contributed to the airy overall effect - it was almost as if a passing breeze might blow the knight away, and if that didn't, she might just take to the skies and fly off.
Spotting the purple-haired girl, she glided serenely towards her. Orphala's bearing seemed almost Jedi-esque: you had to speak to her to understand that she was all Sith.
Finally arriving in front of the youngling, who she was approximately the same height as (if you counted her extravagant plumage as part of her total height), the vermillion Fosh inclined her head ever so slightly. "You are Maki?" she asked. "I am Orphala, knight of the Sith."

Staring blankly at one of the walls of the temple, It seemed to take hours before Maki could realize that someone was heading over towards her. Turning her head over towards the noise, the image of a beatuiful avian woman was in her sights. Staring dumfounded at her, she simply didn't know what to say or think.
As the beautiful woman came over and stood near Maki, for a second she was surprised that the woman was nearly her height. Instead of being as tall as Maki would have though, instead she was somewhat... short. That really was surprising, but interesting as well. Just as Orphala spoke, Maki nodded her head quickly up and down.
"Yes, my name is Maki. It's a pleasure to meet you, Master Orphala." She muttered, not able to resist the fact that she was amazed and shocked to see the petite woman.

Seeing as she possessed a beak, Orphala could not truly be said to smile. However, her eyes went a bit crinkly at the edges and the color of her head crest shifted ever so slightly towards a warmer shade. "I have been looking forward to making your acquaintance, youngling," she replied with a slight, serene nod.
"I observed your training match against Cariseka," she explained. "Although you may not have been aware of my presence. Knights possess ways of making themselves invisible."
"Your performance impressed me," she added. "I suspect you have potential to be an excellent knight of the Sith."
