Was he seriously going to do this? That female was seriously thinking about it and this would be his first time-with a female. For some reason that made him really really nervous.
Like his paws were sweaty.
He was not so sure if he would even see these kittens ever-he didn't really care, but he did.. or something. He really truely did-inside his cold and dead heart.
He sat and huffed, off on his own for a good hunt. He was going to bring her something back to eat-to get her to soften up... let him seem more nice... all this faking stuff was giving him a stomach ache.
He shrugged.

He stood up and padded along, his red eyes searching around him to try and spot something worth eatting. Nothing dead, he knew he was the only one who liked dead things around here-which proved to be his folly. He didn't hunt live things often.
He sighed, hoping his old hunting skills still were inside him. Lately... okay since he left his parents, meat was rotten and thats how he liked it... fresh stuff was harder to catch. But he had to-he needed to get this female to trust him and believe his words. He had too.
He lifted his head and inhaled. Perhaps something would give him a clue to their position.

She was off on her own, away from Tu. She wanted to have some fun-cause he was a bit older and didn't like to have so much fun like she did. Fun was her game-her favorite past time and her only past time. Playing, laughing, doing silly things for no reason. That was her life...
Though now Tu was her life now. He wanted to be with her awlays and she wanted to be with him always. She liked being with him, even though he was older and wiser... and she was so silly.
He liked her that way though, so she didn't worry about it much. She padded along, her black tail wagging behind her. Fun time!

Sekh smelled something unfamiliar to him. He was intrigued and started to head that direction. He sniffed again, his head elevated-trying to find the source of the smell. He climbed atop a fallen log and gazed around, finally spotting the stranger.
it was a maned wolf! Was she hunting? He narrowed his eyes to see better. She didn't have anything in her mouth. Darn, he could have easily stollen her meal, even though she was bigger than he.
He pouted, leaning back on his elbows and settling to at least watch her for a bit.

She skipped and bounded away, her head tossed back and laughing. It was so pretty out! She laughed, spinning in a circle; tail wagging and her voice high in laughter! She liked being around Tu, he made her feel happy and made her feel good. He was like, everything she could ever want in a mate!
She stopped to sniff at a plant or two, looking curiously at the blooms. Her attention span was nill. She shook her ears and lifted her nose, breathing in the flowers sweet smell; not smelling the serval at all.
She started to head his direction without knowing it though.

He wiggles his rump impatianelty. Was she hunting? Or was she just being stupid and girly. He wrinkled his scarred nose, at her silly antics. Useless stuff-she must be female... or very very feminine for a male. He snorted, wishing she had at least a mouse hanging from her jaws. That would have sufficed.
Perhaps he'd just have to get off his but and get something done for once;but he hated that thought. His red ears twitched, she was coming towards him and he was elevated above her-
time for some fun perhaps!

She lowered her nose and began to follow an interesting smell. Perhaps it was something fun! She chuckled, her brown eyes staring down at the dirt. Perhaps it would be something she could bring home to Tu! She shook her head delightfully. Wouldn't he be proud if she brought something to eat or something to play with!
She started to move faster, nose to the ground and sniffing loudly. She hoped it was a mouse, or maybe a baby bird! Wouldn't that be cute, she'd return it back here of course, so that the mommy and daddy birds could find it

Fun. He could totally jump down and scare the white hairs off this black maned wolf. He smiled to himself, his sharp teeth shining. This would be fun and he could get some of his normal personality out of him before he exploded. He watched her get closer and closer... oh this would be sweet. A sweet sweet action.
Then he could go back to being sweet and kind for that little lady serval.

She headed straight under the log that the serval was perched atop. She didnt notice him up there, ready to stalk and pounce on her. She was busy trying to find his smell by following his foot prints like Tu and taught she lowered her nose farther to the ground, white tipped paws slowing as his scent became strong in her nostrils.
He must be really close to her already! How excitnig!

He was ready. He was almost on her. He leaned on the log, his eyes blazing. This was it, a bit of mischief before more lies-more lying to the pretty lady serval. He watched her go right under him, until her rump was directly below him-and he made his move.
He dropped straight down onto her arse, nails digging in and raising the loudest most vicious hiss he could. He made an effort to thump his tail against her, making lots of noise and lots of movement to really scare her to death!

She was just about to find the source of the smell when something terrible happened. She was about to sound the alarm that she had found the smell when something horrible happened. A huge something fell upon her hind end and she almost collapsed under it. She let lose a howl, of fear and desperation. IT was big!
IT WAS SCREAMING AND BITING AT HER! She began to immeditally run away, but found that what ever it was still clung to her! She began to yip, tossing herself up and down, side to side, frantic to get the large and painful thing off from her.
Yiip yiiiip

He found himself going on a magical ride of sorts. His claws wouldn't withdraw but mostly, he didn't want the estranged creature tuning on him and gnawing his limbs off. He held on tight, his eyes widening and narrowing with each bucking movement. This was not good. He had gotten into sticky situations before but this was ridiculous!
He wasn't against getting scars, hell no, but this was not what he wanted to get a scar from. How would he explain it was from a maned wolf that was soooo stupid looking he could puke.
He held on tight, a bit confused to what to do.

She was frantic to get it off. So frantic that she ran straight into the thicket of brambles, prepared to scrape the damn thing off her back. She was running like a deer now, tongue panting and eyes wild. All she knew was, that her instincts told her to run-to get the strange thing off her before she died. She ahd to get it off; or she would perish. She could tell.
She ran straight into the brushes, throwing herself against them in an effort to get free. Her black fur rubbed and tugged against thorns and such, but she did not notice. Tu would no doubt wonder what happened.

He saw his chance as soon as she entered the brushes. He could easily jump onto a tree and let her keep running and that was what he was going to do. He kept his crimson eyes out for a proper branch or stump, anything he could keep balance on long enough for the wolf to run away. A couple trees passed out of his grasp and he spat at them-how was he going to get this done without risking his neck.
Then a branch came and he took the chance. Out shot blood red paws as they caught the bark, seperating the wolf and the serval. He scrambled up, just in case the creature tried anything.

She felt the creatures weight lift from her shoulders and she was relieved but still frightened beyond compare; frankly the sky fell on her and scared the crap out of her. She yipped and barked in fright, all the way through the forest. She didn't care if the creature was still behind her. She had to get back to Tu, thats all she cared about.
She fled all the way back to the den site, without as much as a look backwards.
