Another cool whispering breeze started to waver itself between the small clearing that nestled itself deep into the basin forest of the small mountains that edged the northern half of the Kawani land as its taller peeks over shadowed the cerulean sky. For some unknown possessive reason the brown and white mare had started to move closer and closer to theses large edged rocks in after so many days of completing the idea of rather to climb the thinned air peaks or if to follow along their side in the shadowed like canopy of forest. However she knew that traveling the peaks would be somewhat difficult task for a mare her size, but a challenge was never a problem to her, or at least she would never admit that it would be a problem.

She, knew, like some other soquilis despite what they knew and or what they were encouraged of she had the infallible sense to be attracted to danger, like a moth to a flame. She had no thrill of short lived excites such as the simple idea of leaping off cliffs and or drowning one’s self in a waterfall, but the large sense of danger lead by pure curiosity of what could beyond what her eyes could see. The mountains, in her own sense, held something that the flat lands could never see the height, creatures unknown, and even more the sensual feel that she was high above the world gazing over the lands like king to its own kingdom.

However, the sense of knowing that such a trip would mean she would be gone longer then she had ever been from the motherly mare and the purple headed stallion who still in a somewhat mock’ in tone had the habit of still calling her aunti, leaving him behind with his father would a somewhat larger form of a punishment to him then she could bare to cause him. But wasn’t he old enough to take care of himself by now? A small smile spread on her lips as she shook the beaded mane that hung from her neck, he had been old enough to be on his own for quite a while now and luckily for him Alona had recently borne foals again leaving Tsela with a new and younger aunt to be amused with.

Kanti’s piercing blue eyes gazed up to view the dizzying heights again, the tumbling questions of to go or not stilled rolled around in the deepest parts of not only her mind but her heart as well.
