Physical Description:
Bianne is, for lack of a better way to describe her, a giantess. Towering just shy of 6'7", she easily surpasses the average height of most Pernese and matches her height inch for inch with muscle and fat. Her face is unforgettable, being sharply proportioned and quasi-masculine, and is crowned with thick locks of dark brown hair. Since she spends a great deal of time bent low over steaming kettles and kitchen hearths, her skin has evolved into a thick leathery tan that spreads across her face and down her neck, reappearing on her lower arms. Her eyes are a rich brown, and protrude slightly from her face, but given how tall she is few notice them. Ironically, she is remarkably agile for her size, and has been known to swat at unsuspecting drudges and kitchen help with a speed few would account her for.

Personality:
Sturdy and outspoken, Bianne is not afraid to use her enormous lung capacity to bellow her orders across a busy staff, nor is she easily cowed by ranking personnel. She responds best to quiet authority, surprisingly enough, given how SHE dishes out her orders; but on the same token, she will not stand to have her orders or those of those above her disobeyed. In a lot of respects, she is an ideal underling, ready to challenge the leadership when weakness is shown, but is otherwise steadfast and law abiding given the appropriate reassurances of capability from above.

History:
Living in the Weyr, most Weyrfolk have been bred to see size as a dominating trait. After all, the largest dragons are often the ones in charge, and Bianna capitalized on that subconscious notion early on. She was never a drudge, being too intelligent for that type of labor, and rapidly rose through the ranks of undercooks until she acquired the rank of Assistant Cook for the night shifts. She dominated her staff for turns with the intent to go even higher before she realized how happy being just beneath the creative responsibility she was. She was satisfied to make sure everyone did their job, but quickly discovered that when it came to having the initiative to move up and be the Senior Weyrwoman's right hand, she was lacking in creativity. Crisis situations do on occasion unsettle her, as she is a creature of habitual order, but given enough time, she usually rallies.
