word reached lieutenant kuroi of squad five that late at night in the 48th district of the rukon, a strange and horrible sound has been wailing out of the surrounding woods. kuroi, never one to sit on his hands while the people in rukon were suffering, investigated. he discovered that every night, one more person dissappears. he put out a call to any of his fellow lieutenants or any other available shinigami to help, though he didnt care if any showed. he was going to do it alone if he had too.

Kagaya flashsteps in from the fourth division infirmary, "Do you want some help?" He asked politely as he looked into the woods. This was better than sitting around, he needed to be active. He looked at Yukari and smiled. "Hello Captain Yukari."

Yukari frowned. "I'm no good at bored glum and serious. Only when nessesary. Hi Kagaya! Besides it's easier to think when i'm not weighed down by concerns."((We lost internet yesterday so when I got on today I had seventeen messages and lots of work to do in forums!)))
