INTRODUCTION V:A takes place in modern times... just at a completely different area of our galaxy. Thus humans are a VERY rare sight. It also deals with three different solar systems, Aomega, Cique and Gens, each connected to each other through an anomaly known as a tear. Basically a traversable black hole.  Gens
A a massive nebula. Inside is the giant Icarus space station.
(A)-Icarus, an overcrowded mega-space station.
(B)-T1, the only legally known traversable tear. Leads to the Cique Galaxy. Cique
A small solar system with unique binary suns.
(A)-Haros, one of the suns.
(B)-Heros, the other sun.
(C)-Durus, a prestigious planet with an Earthlike atmosphere. Only the powerful live there.
(D)-T1, opens back into the Gens Nebula.
(E)-Aomega Asteroid Cluster, and the secret Aomega tear.Aomega
Secret solar system known only to pirates.
(A)-Craetos, it's sun.
(B)-Viciri, black, hot, uninhabitable planet.
(C)-Mega, nicknamed pirate planet. Habitable, with a dry, desert atmosphere.
(D)-The Dirt Belt, asteroid cluster where the secret Aomega tear is located. It opens back in the Cique system in the Aomega Asteroid Cluser.-Contents-

STORY  The Cique system has long been a political "center" for a number of different solar systems. It's the bureaucratic hub for countless cultures, and a politicians haven from the normal world. Within time, however, scientists discovered an unusual anomaly they named a "tear"... after twenty years, the Durus Planet Council (DPC) decided to moderate the tear, now named T1. Within a year of the decision, a probe was sent to see what existed beyond. Thus was the discovery of the Gens Nebula, and the Icarus space station. Located at a completely different arm of the galaxy, the discovery of the Gens Nebula allowed vast interspecies communication. It was regarded as the greatest discovery in history, and the day was named the first day of the year CG1.
Within a year, the DPC decided that the two systems should be bonded with an identical currency, law system, and economy. In what was nothing short than a hostile political take-over, Icarus was added to the DPC law.
Since that day, the Icarus stations economy has plummeted. It was already an overcrowded station, but when word got out immigrants from other planets flocked to the station. The people became too much to control, and in year CG5, the Icarus station was removed from the DPC's laws, and told to "fend for itself". The station tried to set up a police force... but to little avail.
The current year is CG10, and already the underground world of Icarus is starting to spread through the systems. A pirate... a human nicknaming himself Columbus discovered a tear within the Aomega Asteroid Cluster. Word got out to every pirate in the system daring enough to traverse the dense asteroid field. Waiting beyond was the only real haven... the Aomega system.
Whispers of the "secret tear" constantly scratch at the DPC. They search endlessly for it but oddly enough their scientists can't reach it.
At the same time, the Durus Planet Council had decided that Icarus had become too large, and must be organized. Operation Cure was initialized. Mass armies of androids are being sent into the Icarus station to enforce the highly strict standards of Durus law. Anyone who does not comply to the laws are executed on sight.-Contents-

PLOT/OBJECTIVES The Pirate Alliance Cruisers Even with all the war and hate and death in the systems, the rich and powerful always seem to have time for unnatural luxury. Giant interstellar cruise ships port at Durus at least every month. Each one of them loaded with money... each one of them a prime target for pirates. Some want to use the money to give back to the Icarus station, others want it for themselves. Thus a war amongst the pirates themselves is nearing a start.Speakeasies Icarus isn't completely ravaged by Operation Cure. Within the densest areas of the station, underground bars, pubs, whole cities exist where the young and the old can take refuge. But every day these "Speakeasies" are being found, and being destroyed. The people need protecting, but who has the strength, the courage, and the stupidity to face the Android armies.Pitch An element exists with the unstable power to destroy planets in split-seconds. It was deemed impossible to create by most scientists, yet rumors of it's use circulate through the systems. Now terrorists use it as a way to threaten planets into submission. But the question is "does it exist?" and if so... who has it.The Memory Chip A memory chip was recently discovered on a body. Nothing special right? Wrong! The chip is said to contain countless databases of information on the DPC. Vital information on all of their systems are now just waiting to be snatched up. Needless to say, the information would be invaluable to members of the resistance.((More plots will be added as the RP goes on. Also please note these are not plots you HAVE to follow, they are ideas to use when forming your character, and "insertion points" for your character. Use them at your own will))-Contents-

CHARACTERS Beams of Glory Character Name: Seeke G'maznan
Gender: Male
Appeared Age: 46
Race/Species: Arkul
Affiliation/Faction: Space Pirate
History: Arkul left his homeplanet on merchant business. He soon failed and, too ashamed to return home a failure, decided to take up looting and pillaging as a profession. After all, money won is a lot sweeter than money earned as he always says with a grunt and a snort.
Appearance: Seeke can best be described as a lizardman. Standing 8'2'', weighing 413 lbs and 3 ounces, and covered from head to toe in bluish-green, bumpy scales, with a short tail and a somewhat "pudgy" body. He is a hunched creature, with unclean teeth and breath to match. The claws on his hands and toes and cruelly sharpened, able to slash someone to ribbons if need be.
Other: Seeke's accent is sloppy and extremely annoying, involving disgusting snorts and gags.

History: From maybe a different galaxy who knows. He's mysterious. Carron doesn't talk much about where he came from, but sometimes mentions something about a hive ship and dry planets. He joined the pirates to loot and maybe eat his enemies.
Appearance: Carron is maybe roughly 6'4. He wears a helmet that doesn't really fit, pair of 4 eyed goggles, an overcoat with rips, two holes for his lower arms with four pouches on the front, one large one on the back with rocket launcher parts in it, a grenade bandoleer, a grenade belt with a canister with a gas mask attached to it, and a grenade launcher on the belt.
Other: All flesh is good flesh and will take armor from dead people. Kurimson Chishio Character Name: Kajin Hanahazukashii
Gender: female
Appeared Age: 21
Race/Species: Hagai
Affiliation/Faction: icarus
History: Kajin was born into a noble family on Durus. She never had any problems growing up, but she alwasy had a very caring heart. When Icarus was first found Kajin was 11 but she already hoped that the DPC would be able to ehlp them. As soon as Icarus was forgotten about Kajin began gathering her things and collecting as much money as possible. Kajin reached Icarus about the same time the 'cure' started. Immeaditly Kajin began usuing her money to set up a safe place for everyone to live. Even going so far as usuing any kind of bribe possible to keep those that she cares for asfe.
Appearance: Being a Hagai Kajin has large steel wings. Hers are a pale peach and they weigh about 1500 pounds each. Other then that Kajin looks alot like a human. Kajin herself is only 108 pounds and 5'7". Her ahir and eyes are both sea green, while her skin is very pale. Kajin has gained a few scares from the life she now leads. THe biggest one is on her right cheek. Kajin wears long baggy pants and short skirts (it matters who is coming that day) her tops are always tight to show off her chest, (just incase someone comes in without befroe hand knowledge).
Other: Kejin fell in love with a boy back on Durus, his family was one of the first that left for Icarus. She still longs to find him.

Race/Species: Human
Affiliation/Faction: Drug dealer
History: His family of a mother, father, little sister and himself were very nomadic until they moved to Icarus, where when they turned to leave, found that ALL of their funds and savings were gone, presumably their bank account had been hacked and completely drained. Through a case of mistaken identity, Asher's parents were both killed at the same time, thought to be rebels of Operation Cure. This made his little sister, Emily, fall extremely ill, leaving Asher to take care of them both. He did this the only way he could find; buying and selling drugs. This is despicable because the drug lord he buys from... is for Operation Cure.
Appearance: Asher looks like your regular teenager; his body is growing awkwardly and he dresses in jeans and a sweatshirt. Nothing out of the ordinary. Character Name: James Medjula
Gender: Male
Appeared Age: 24
Race/Species: Vitreus (also called "Acclaros")
Affiliation/Faction: Icarus
History: James was not always the pacifist he is now. He was once a cunning, knowledgeable, intelligent fighter, and has proven it in various brutal arenas and coliseums. Whether he still has it in him to hurt and kill another is unknown, maybe even by himself.
Appearance: Clothed usually in either a black or a white cloak of sorts, all of James's organs (and select muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments close to the skin) are visible through his milky white, eerily pigmented skin. This is typical of a Vitreus. ((I'll put a picture up when I scan it))
Other: Vitreai/Acclaros are sensitive to UV rays (though won't shrivel up and die in a pile of ash when confronted by them). Altogether very strange. They have complete control of their bodies and are a rare sight because of it. Needless to say the Vitreai were the original anatomists.

Race/Species: Human
Affiliation/Faction: Drug lord
History: Jordan (known to the underworld as "Mr. Updike") excelled at horticulture and culinary arts in school, which made him a loser everyone made fun of and being a small-minded moron decided it would be okay to ruin people's lives because it made him very rich and it was easy for him to do.
Appearance: Stylishly cut black hair, always clean and never a wrinkle or speck of dirt on his very (very) expensive clothes.
Other: Jordan is the lord that Asher Coetell buys directly from. Unbeknownst to Jordan, Asher frequently curses him and calls him "Weedwhacker" behind his back.
Not Like It Matters
Character Name: Sonnen Sigrid Tau
Gender: Female
Appeared Age: Early twenties.
Race/Species: Enigma (see the history)
Affiliation/Faction: Icarus
History: Sonnen is an Enigma, who are genetic experiments left over from a race that is long dead. The ancient race left some of their members in suspended animation, to revive and continue their race after the disasterous war. Somehow they were let out early, and some of them were changed, against their will, into an "advanced race" by some who shouldn't have survived. Sonnen was a child at the time, around two earth years old. She is one of the lucky, most of those experimented on did not survive. She lost her cousin Talae, her parents, and her twin sister Letze after they were experimented on. As a result, she has lots of anger at the universe in general, but if she gets close to you, she will be loyal and a protector.
Appearance: Sonnen has brown skin, about the color of a tan girl from earth's middle east. She has an arch to her eyebrows if you look close enough, high cheekbones, and a six-inch scar on the back of her left leg due to a fall as a child. She is around 5 foot7, and has short hair, just too long not to spike up easily, black with light reddish-brown highlights that are only visible under bright light. She has a tattoo on the back of her neck, the Enigma symbol for rain. She has bright green eyes with dark black eyelashes.
Other: The Enigma alphabet is similar to Chinese, but the grammar is more like German. On the irrelevant side, "Sonnen" is German for "suns". omgIisonfiyah Character Name: Deca
Gender: Male
Appeared Age: 23
Race/Species: Human? (See history)
Affiliation/Faction: Freelance since he has no idea what the hell is going on
History: He was found drifting out in space and amazingly survived. He was first discovered by the DPC and then after some alledged lab accident he was free to roam the galaxy, he's currently on Icarus. He's on a quest to find who he is and what he is but can't continue with all the damn androids, He's called Deca because of the decagram on his hand and has been known to do some wierd things, some with out his knowing. He still carries a katana, even though it's low tech it serves as the only link to his past. He looks human but genetic testing says otherwise, only time will tell what he truly is.
Appearance: When he was first found he wore traditional samurai armor, now since his escape he has been able to procure a new set of armor (picture the Hayubussa armor off of halo, except replace the Hayubussa helmet with the EVA helmet) His armor is Maroon with black and whit trims, he has a Decagram symbol on his sword hilt and on his left shoulder armor piece (Gold on his sword and armor)
Other: He is a skilled swordsman, able to cut through androids before they can lock on to him, even though he is a trained killer he has a strong sense of justice and will do everything he can to protect the innocent.

Gender: Female
Appeared Age: 21
Race/Species: Human. It's been argued otherwise though.
Affiliation/Faction: Solo Pirate
History: Col was born a human of Icarus. So she says. Almost nothing is known about her past. Some joke she was born an eternally youthful siren. Countless legends surround her. And if most were true... she'd be a lot older then she appears. Whether the legends are true or not doesn't change the fact that she's one of the most sadistic, merciless creatures out there. If you see her. Run.
Appearance: Col is a dark skinned, slender human. Her are eyes an unnatural yet alluring gold. She's always seen wearing a special mechanical suit that's completely covered in ports and inlets that her ship, The Rasa uses to connect to her neural network, and allow for an organic-mechanical link.
Other: Needless to say, because of her unique method of piloting, she's the best pilot out there.

Character Name: Gabriel
Gender: Male
Appeared Age: 27
Race/Species: Android
Affiliation/Faction: Icarus Police
History: Gabriel was manufactured in CG3 (He's 7), by an unknown scientist from Icarus. His programing is one of a kind. His brain isn't circuits and metal... it's organic. Possibly cloned from another being. Because his creator died shortly after his activation Gabriel knows little to nothing about his past. In CG5, when Icarus was told to create a police force of their own, Gabriel was the first to enlist, but when Operation Cure started he went underground.
Appearance: Gabriel is 7' flat, his body meant to replicate a heavily built man. Most of his body is a titanium alloy skeleton with hydraulic muscles and a gray rubberized plastic to mimic skin. His feet however are heavy duty boots of sorts from the ankle down, his back is also equipped with heavy duty armored panels rather than the false skin.
Other: His "boots" can magnetize themselves, and turn into jet skates of sorts. Also because of his android nature, he has acute senses, and the ability to connect with most computer systems.

Appeared Age: 13
Race/Species: Girse
Affiliation/Faction: None
History: Kadreh was born on Icarus. Traditional of his culture, he never knew his father, and eight years after his birth, his mother placed him into a clan of youths, to be trained and taught how to survive the real world. Distraught with his peoples customs, Kadreh ran from his clan when he turned 10. He now survives as a stray.
Appearance: The Girse are a physically perplexing species. His skin is an unnatural pitch black, and ears extend out behind his head a good 6 inches. This is contrasted by black eyes with a single red pupil, and pure white teeth and nails. Even for his species however, Kadreh is exceptionally slender. He wears a pair of loose brown cotton shorts held up by a strip of tan burlap looking fabric that reveal odd digitigrade, almost canine legs. The same material as his tunic. A long, slender black tail, long enough to wrap around his waist at least twice, usually sways behind him with fluid motions.
Other: His species has infrared vision.
Character Name: Turst
Gender: Male
Appeared Age: 31
Race/Species: Turian
Affiliation/Faction: Icarus Police
History: Turst grew up in the rougher areas of Icarus. He taught himself how to survive in hostile conditions. Later in life he signed up into the Icarus police force, shortly before operation Cure began, and excelled in ballistics. He deserted the police shortly after, for his own personal endeavors. He's selfish, but cunning.
Appearance: He's got the face of most turians, however his face shows a little more color then most. Varying greatly between deep red and white hues. He's never seen without his armor, and there's a scratched spot on the left side of his chest where his police badge was once welded to the armor.

Gender: Male
Appeared Age: 30...?
Race/Species: Ryusect (Dragon insect.)
Affiliation/Faction: Pirate Alliance... sort of.
History: Brand fought his way to where he is now: a renowned and ruthless pirate who, while slow in movement, is quick with fury. He is said to be almost unstoppable in the Skrimir; an unparalleled pilot.
Appearance: Brand possesses a tough, outer shell--an exoskeleton--that protects him from most physical dangers. He is somewhat slow, being weighed down by his tough armor. He is capable of secreting acidic venom from his mouth, and is very strong (as all insects proportionately are). He does not possess blades instead of hands (as the picture suggests).
Other: Pilots the SkrimirCharacter Name: Let'o Conner Gender: Female Appeared Age: 22 Race/Species: Synth Affiliation/Faction: Icarus History: Conner came to Icarus by means of an escape pod from an unknown class of star cruiser. She was found by the Icarus station an has lived there since, working with her adept knowledge of computers and mechanics. Appearance: Conner is a Synth, who is a human-looking creature that upon closer inspection actually is not. They are far more intelligent than ordinary humans, and have unique eye color, along with very light-colored hair and skin. They seem to glow as well, with an aura or atmosphere that, while intangible, sets them apart from humans almost indisputably. Other: Is loyal to the people of Icarus and (inadvertently) is very effective at battling androids and robotic enemies. -Contents-

SUMMARIES ((To make it easier for people to join the RP at a later date, short summary of what has happened in the RP for every 10 pages will be posted here.))1-10 Gabriel, though a member of the Icarus Police Force, is now wanted by the DPC for the destruction of one of their androids. Conner, a vigilante known to help police members in such tight situations, led Gabriel through a series of tight corridors that inevitably led the two to a bar and orphanage/speakeasy run by Kajin (who is paying off DPC officials to keep her bar a safe-haven). Conner also explained of a memory chip found on a dead body that is said to contain vast ammounts of information on the DPC. Meanwhile Brand just recently plundered a trade frigate somewhere out in space. Carron also plundered one of the many ships out there, and plummeted back to Icarus(?). Back at Kajin's bar, Seeke was eavesdropping on peoples conversations, whereas Sonnen also watched from a not-too-far distance. Asher Entered the bar, smuggling a small bag of chalk-like powder, a drug into the bar. Kajin caught the child, and quickly confronted him passive-aggressively. During this distraction Turst took advantage of the situation and stole the bag of powder. A small scrape ensued as Gabriel saw Turst leave. A truce was reached, and Gabriel was left to confront Asher about what he was doing, and who his supplier was. Needless to say, Asher was handcuffed. Meanwhile Columbus snuck into Jordan (Updike)'s penthouse, to offer a business proposition.11-20
Thank you Miinefield Gabriel continues to question Asher (breaking one of Kajin's tables in the process and found out that the boy's supplier is a man by the name of Updike. was able to persuade Gabriel to remove Asher's handcuffs and proceeded to feed the boy. Asher makes an attempt to run away, promising to return. Needless to say, he was caught swiftly (twice) by Gabriel and handcuffed once more. Conner calmed Asher with her "aura" before bounding off to destroy a group of police androids. When she left, Gabriel nearly killed Asher while interrogating the boy. He learned (after sifting through a few lies) that Asher was running to the hospital to pay for care for his little sister, and has escorted him there while Conner checked to see if she could hack via the hospital's ocmputers (which she couldn't). Gabriel is now trying to block Asher from doing anything else (namely seeing Emily, his sister,) now that he's paid. Conner is silently trying to warn the two of bad news.
Columbus, after a bit of talking and unfair play (namely holding a knife to Updike's throat) convinced the multi-billionaire to fund her in a mad quest to build a weapon that would ravage planets. Updike is now attempting to regain his fortune.
Seeke has questioned Kajin about a bloke by the name of Brand. She hasn't seen him, and suggests the ship Chisai Ookami to Seeke (which he would use to find Brand).
Brand entered Aomega in the ship Skirmir, which is now in need of repairs.-Contents-
