Clutching her harp in one hand, Rhyme usually lived in isolation at a nearby lake, much time spent with forest critters. Several animals had told her that nearby, another constellation resided. What constellation could be lurking in the nearby area?
Deciding that this day was not to be a day spent in her own isolation, several animals had pointed her to a nearby field of flowers, into the eastern exit out of the forest. Curiosity filled Rhyme, as animals told her it was a field of red flowers. Red flowers were always a sight to see. Slow footsteps along the worn path, Rhyme didn't move very fast, but the trip didn't call for haste. Eventually, she exited her forest, to see a red patch in the distance. Was that the destination she was looking for?
She had never ventured farther than town or her own forest, so going into a new place filled her with excitement and a small amount of nervousness, venturing into unknown greenery to the red path ahead.

She never felt so much at peace as she did amid her sea of flowers.
Amiel had always been for the water. He said its serenity was deceptive, and when they'd spoken of it, his eyes had lit with sly triumph at the mention of the dangers in the depths. He had always been a darker force than she, unrestrained and wicked, and part of her had been frightened even as it had thrilled her. That she had bested him still astonished her, even though it was more a victory over the mind than the body.
She blamed love. He had felt it, even if he no longer did. It had given her the upper hand, and she had used it ruthlessly, turning the war against him and destroying him in little more than a breath. It didn't bring her any pride, but at the same time, she did not regret her actions. To do so would be to regret answering the Earthen's prayers, and she could do not that.
Still, standing in waist-high flowers the color of his eyes, she couldn't help but remember those days they had shared, and her heart couldn't help but ache with the memory. In harming him she had harmed herself, but there had been nothing else to do. She couldn't let him continue as he had been, could she? And even if he'd been changing, morphing into a different man before her very eyes, she had a duty.
Casting her eyes upward, expression sliding into mournful lines, she wondered aloud, "But the duty to my heart - oh, I failed you, heart."
Bringing her hands up, she eased her fingers to her lips, nibbling lightly on the ends of them. A breeze stirred the meadow, sending her hair spiraling behind her, her dress billowing out behind her.
Half-turning, curiosity taking the place of the more melancholy mood, she wondered aloud, "A visitor?" as if asking the wind. In response, the flowers bent, rippling with the breeze in a line for a constellation in the distance.
Dropping her arms, expression lifting at the prospect of company, she called out, "Who wanders there?"

It was a field of crimson flowers, the beautiful sight delighting the musical constellation. What a jewel this place was. Whatever constellation who resided over this area certainly had a treasure of a place on their hands.
But who resided over here? Would they mind an intruder? Rhyme couldnt help but pace with worry, walking before the herd of flowers, pausing before she took the next step, carefully avoiding the flowers that lay at her feet. "I'm the constellation of Crystal Melody. You have a beautiful place. May I ask who you are?" Rhyme questioned softly, her tone hesitant and uncertain, as she looked up at the female constellation. The wind spiraled against herself, forcing her long red hair to nearly cover her face, Rhyme struggled to hold the loose locks and tuck it behind her ear, while her kimono floated along the wind's direction.
What a beautiful constellation that stood before her. Rhyme couldn't help but think that she had probably a string of hearts or two. "I hope you dont mind. Some of the animals told me that a constellation lived in a nearby place full of red flowers. I came to see since red flowers rarely grow in the forest I live in." She offered the other a soft smile, a hand in a long kimono sleeve waved energetically, while the other held onto her golden harp.
