we have been waiting for it..and here is the announcement biggrin VO Dear Users, This weekend we will be kicking off the Halloween festivites... Here's what's in store and when it will happen: 1) Storyline, Forum Event - Friday, October 28th, 3:30pm PST - We will be opening Gambino's mansion for a special event as well as launch a storyline update. This event will run until Sunday at midnight PST. 2) Trick or Treating on GAIA - Sunday, October 30th, 3:00pm PST - Trick or Treating in both the website(through NPC shops) or in GAIA Towns. Trick or Treating will be available until Tuesday, November 1st at noon PST. During both of these events, special themed items can be earned through participation. Happy Halloween everybody! VO Just one last note, the reason we are making the events span over a few days is to make sure everyone has a chance to play. In other words, you don't have to be there the whole time in order to participate.

That really was a good idea spanning it out like that. Gives everyone a chance to be there. And everyone who would be there and possibly run into last minute issues they have to take care of (like me) can still do it when they get back. You never know what life and family will throw at you just when you're getting ready to do something you've been waiting to do for a long time. Always seems to happen to me, LOL. At least I know I won't miss it whee

morphingbutterfly hey ebil...you were here last year...when you go to the npc shops...do you click on them for trick or treating? and what about Jack...does he appear randomly on the site? i dont mean to burden you with all these questions sweatdrop hangs head Yup you click on the NPCs and they give you a choice between two colors of candy. You can trick or treat about every 15 minutes or so, and last year we could only trick or treat at night (gaian time). When you've collected a certain number of candies (can't remember how many) Jack will appear somewhere on the map. Click on him, and he'll give you a grab bag. The contents of the bag depends on the combination of the colors of the candies whee

gonk This weekend we'll be out of town for all kinds of Halloween events in Albuquerque.. the school kids' Halloween party tonight for my nieces and nephews and their school friends, then the big family Halloween party tomorrow night, and a carnival at my mom's church on Sunday evening.
I may just have to take over my sisters-in-law's computer Saturday while I'm at their house too, at least to see what guild clues are up, and to get in on this forum event! At least they're extending the festivities through Tuesday noon..

This sounds exciting. Of course I have a dumb question, what are these shops? Is that all the shops on the map?

roocee This sounds exciting. Of course I have a dumb question, what are these shops? Is that all the shops on the map? I think so. I wasn't around for Halloween last year, but I think I remember during Christmas we also visited these shops on the map, and we could sing carols to the various shopkeepers and get.. something. I forget. Like Ian, and Sasha, and.. I can't remember all their names. Moira or something.
