Anyone here watch the anime Bleach?
If so, has anyone noticed the similarity between Uchiha Sasuke and Ishida Ametatsu (Uryuu)? (Ishida is the blue light bow and arrow guy).
-They are both egotistical braggers.
-They both seem to have a serious problem with the main character.
-They both have black hair that falls in the their faces.
-They both have clans that seem to have been wiped out.
-They both have an attack that is unique to them and their related clan.
-They both have superiority complexes.
and last and most inescapably:
-THEY HAVE THE SAME VOICE ACTOR! (Sugiyama Noriaki)
I think these a just a little too convienient to be mere coincidences. I am of the mind that whenever they have a need for an anime a*****e, they call upon Noriaki. Noriaki - when everyone else just isn't cocky enough. It is an anime conspiracy! eek
any thoughts?

It's gotta be type casting. It's like the guy that did Lupin III doing the voice of the best friend in Chobits or the girl that did Asuka from Evangelion doing the voice for that pilot Subaru in Nadesico. The audience recognises a certain feeling from a certain voice actor. It's like having Stalone play a muscle bound guy with a big heart. People just expect a certain dynamic/personality from a well known voice. There's tons of examples (not that I'm otaku enough to know much more than those).

anime conspiracy... ninja
but you are right. if i heard sasuke's voice doing kon's character, i'd probably start to twitch and freak out, without knowing why... because i probably wouldn't put the voices together. o.O

i didn't go through with bleach but wen i was watching it, my brother screamed naruto? i prefer naruto over bleach but than again, they said naruto is too similar to dragon ball..

aculty they do the same with voice overs here in ameircan, if you listen you;ll reconize a lot of the voices. Such as the guy who plays spike in the US, it seems his voice is in almost evry anime on adult swim. and a few others, like diggimon.

actually, i prefer Isshida over Sasuke, at least he's kinda resolved his past conflict...unlike sumone we all know...
and if u actually listen closely, all the animes use almost the same voice actors for the new animes (probably because they have experience or sumthing like that)

Kiba01 actually, i prefer Isshida over Sasuke, at least he's kinda resolved his past conflict...unlike sumone we all know... and if u actually listen closely, all the animes use almost the same voice actors for the new animes (probably because they have experience or sumthing like that) i do too. ishida is comfortable enough with himself to sew! and sew masterfully at that! and he's a mooch! he's kinda goofy while trying to retain his cool appearance. sasuke is just a p***k. whee

Kon's voiced by *none other than* Kubo Tite. Besides, he wont let Kon fall into hand of sasuke's voice.
