That was cool looking. Not that she knew what the heck that was, but it was cool. Whatever it was.
The lioness was lying on her back, somewhere in the jungle, staring rather intently at a tree's branches, head tilted slightly. Ooh, so cool. Why was it moving so much? It was hard to follow! She frowned, stretching a paw out to poke whatever she was seeing, but, of course, her paw merely stretched out, reaching for something unseen.

She traveled with Cor, and, right now they had stopped in a jungle. They stopped in all kinds of places, so this wasn't strange. It wasn't a jungle she'd been in before, but thats all right. It was pretty much the same, lush and green and wonderful. Cor had been busy doing other things, so Kimaji had taken to wandering about. Then, she saw a turtle.
The turtle, of course, is to blame for whats going on right now.
See, Kimaji had seen the turtle eat.. something. She'd never tried eating something like it before, but now that she'd seen the turtle eat it, she was sure it was okay! Right? ... Wrong. The thing in question had been a mushroom. She'd only eaten one (they tasted pretty bad, she'd concluded). But that was enough.
A few hours later, and still no sign of Cor, things were staring to get.. funny, to say the least.
"Stop mooving, " She protested, waving her paws in the air, but not really getting up.

 "Kimaji? Kimaji!"
A sigh, Corellon called out for his young friend, large paws carrying him through the forest. Now where had she gone off to? He had told her to stay put, to not wander off and get lost while he surveyed the forest, speaking with the trees, the creatures who inhabited the forest, searching for hints of poachers, any signs that the forest had been harmed. To his pleasure, the forest was healthy, if only all forests were as such.
But of course Kimaji had not listened. Why was he surprised, she never listened. Well, he supposed that was part of her charm, that childish innocence, the curiosity that had always drawn him to her. But though he cherished those traits, he did wish she would listen to him more. The forest, as any land, could be a dangerous place if one was not familiar with the land. Oh the trouble a young lioness could get in to, the least of which was getting lost.
And now he was searching for her, pausing every several yards, a paw raised to the trees, his vision searching through that of the foliage, hoping to find a trace of silver and white. At last, there she was.
A sigh, half exasperated, half relief, Corellon walked to his friend, stopping to stand at her side, gaze falling on her prone form, his brow furrowed.
"What are you doing?"
What had she gotten into now?

She completely missed him calling her name, too distracted staring at.. whatever the cool thing was, trying to figure it out. She didn't even know what shape it was. It was just colorful, yes. Like a raaaainboow. She liked rainbows!
Now, she actually heard his question, and blinked, glancing in the direciton of her friend, ears perked. Wow, Cor looked funny. "Hi Cor! " She said distractedly, rolling to her paws and trying to get up and walk; something that was obviously too much of an effort, because almost immediately she tripped and face planted to the floor. Her paws felt straange. Hm.
"Wait. " She paused, gathering herself up again, seeming a bit unsteady at first, before successfully getting in a sitting position. Dizzy, dizzy dizzy. "I was looking at that! " She raised a paw to point accusingly toward where she'd been looking, but paused in confusion.
"Hey.. where did it go? "

A brow raised beneath his mask, sigh, a deep breath, somehow he was getting the feeling this was going to give him a headache. Did he even want to know what she had gotten into? Yes, he supposed he did, he couldn't have her stumbling all over the forest, the last thing he wanted was for her to find her injured, or worse.
"What did you get into?"
Concerned, he had stayed near her side, helping her back to her paws if she needed it, watching her carefully. Hallucinating, drunk, stoned, whatever one called it, Kimaji was clearly that, and completely out of it. The question was, how did she get that way.
Assured for the moment that she was at least sturdy enough to remain upright (or if she did fall she didn't have far to go), he began to investigate, searching around the nearby trees for something she could have touched or eaten. Wait, he paused, nose just off the ground, mushrooms, and by the looks of it something, or someone, had eaten one.
*facepaw*
"Did you eat these?"
He didn't need an answer, he was certain she had. Unlike his young friend, Corellon knew what those mushrooms were, and what they could do. He just shook his head, facepaw.

"The jungle! I'm in the jungle. Or.. " Wait, this place didn't really look like a jungle. Trees weren't supposed to be green.. Wait, they were. Except for that purple one over there. "I don't think this is the jungle anymore. " Lets think of an ideal name for this. La-la Land? That sounds about correct.
"Yep! Turtle ate some. So I thought maybe they're like fruits! .. But they're not really like fruits, I had one too and it tasted reaaal bad. " She wrinkled her nose. Very, very bad. And fruits tasted good. So mushrooms were so not fruits. "Was I not supposed to? " She frowned. "Sorry. "
A pause.
"You have pretty eyes! "

Facepaw. He was write, he was definitely getting a headache. Sigh, what was he going to do with her...
"Kimaji.."
He had settled on his haunches to sit in front of her. A deep sigh, he spoke, trying very hard to be patient, to not raise his voice, the teacher to the student.
"...haven't I told you before, don't eat strange plants. If you do not know what it is, do not eat it. Even if it is okay for a turtle to eat, it does not mean it's okay for you to eat. You never, ever eat the mushrooms."
Probably wasn't good for the turtle either...wait, a turtle? Why on earth was she following a turtle anyway? No, that he did not want to know.
Sigh, what was he going to do now. Kimaji was in no shape to walk (she'd probably fall and break something, or get lost), and he wasn't carrying her, not unless it was to dump her in the water. Though that might have actually helped, if she didn't drown.

She frowned slightly, and though there were a billion colorful things for her to look at rather than Cor, Kimaji made an effort to stay focused. Okay. Never eat strange plants. Sounds right. .. Geez, what wa sit with this tiny blue fly-lion flying around in front of her? She whacked at it impatiently, before remembering Cor and looking back at him. Never eat mushrooms... unless its okay for turtles? Wait, no, no. Never eat mushrooms. Ever. Okay. Got it.
"Alright! " She nodded happily, almost exaggeratedly, before becoming distracted again. This time there was a snake floating around just above her head. Wow, thats weird.
She attempted to stand on her hind feet to whack at it, but instead just flopped onto her side, rather comically. Kimaji almost considered getting to her feet again, but the ground was very comfy right now, so she just stayed down, staring at the strange snake for a while. "Hey, Cor! Guess what? " She piped up, waited for a bit, then decided waiting for an answer was overrated.
"Yoou are my bestestestestes.. where was I? Oh, right. Estest friend ever! "

All he could do was shake his head and watch his friend, rolling around on the forest floor like a complete loon. Someday he was going to look back on this and think it was funny, but not at this moment, and certainly not whenever that mushroom wore off and left a throbbing headache in its place. Well, maybe she'd think twice next time.
"Yes, I know, you're my best friend too."
A touch of exasperation in his voice, or was it resignation, either way he had remained as he always was, the patient teacher.
"Come on, on your paws."
He had risen to his own paws, stepping forward to help her up. Some cold water, and a nap, preferably someplace more protected than the jungle floor. His eyes looked through the forest, ears twitching, there was a small stream nearby, he could hear the faint trickle of water.
"Come on, there's a stream this way."

She smiled. Cool! They were like.. cool bestest buddies. Or something. This train of though was cut, however, by him stepping closer. Kimaji blinked, tilting her head up at him, both in confusion over his request and the strange blue hat his bear was wearing. "Okay. " She didn't object, and rolled onto her belly to try and get to her paws, and she would have grabbed at something for support, but everything was moving around too much. Damn, world, can't you just sit still?
"Why're we going to a stream? " A pause. "Are there going to be butterflies? " butterflies were cool. Save when they went all flappy right in your face, then it was hard to look at them. "Or fish? " Fish were shiny and cool too. But when she was a cub she thought they were scary!
She glanced at her paws, raising one and taking a determined step forward, a bit shaky, and her paw hit the floor roughly, like she'd expected the floor to be a few inches higher than it really was, but Kimaji managed to stay upright. She'd walk to that stream.

He stayed at her side, guiding her through the foliage, supporting her if need be, prepared to catch her if she fell. Awkward, to say the least, trying to navigate a very stoned lioness through the dense forest to a small stream without injuring either of them.
"Because, it will make you feel better."
Somehow saying what he really wanted to say, 'so I can dunk you in it', didn't seem like the best answer.
"I don't know, there might be. Probably."
He answered each question as she asked it, so many questions.
It was a mercifully short walk to the stream, a deep sigh of relief as he stepped from Kimaji's side, hoping she wouldn't topple over when he did, though maybe if she fell into the water...
"Drink."
Well, lesson learned on his part. Never, -ever- leave Kimaji alone with unknown plants again, EVER.

Ooh, feel better. Okay, that works. Not that she felt bad, well.. maybe a little lightheaded and weird. But she felt fine in general! Still, Kimaji didn't object and walked on, slowly getting the hang of this 'not-falling-over' pace. Ooh, so there would be butterflies. And fiiish.
Upon arriving at the stream, though, Kimaji spared Cor the need to dunk her in water himself, as she promptly jumped into it. It hadn't exactly been her plan, but she had always loved water, and had played a lot in it back in what remained of the water in mistweaver territory.
The jump itself went fine, the landing wasn't as great, ending up more like a flop, so it was fortunate there was water to cushion her fall. She also forgot to come up for air at first, but soon enough she remembered the basics of survival and peeked her head out of water. "Aah! I'm blind! " Oh, right, wet bangs. She remedied this by pushing them out of her eyes, and grinning at Cor. "Nevermind. "
Despite that, the water had a desirable effect. Kimaji was no longer seeing pretty colors, though she still felt somewhat lightheaded.

Another sigh, Corellon shook his head, stepping backward to avoid the splash of water as Kimaji jumped into the stream. At least he didn't have to throw her into the water, though it was doubtful he actually would have no matter how much he wanted to. Now if she didn't drown first, hopefully the water would help sober her...maybe.
"You're not blind..."
He watched, keeping a careful eye in case she did drown, or injure herself with all the flopping around she'd been doing.
"Do you feel any better?"
The water may have helped, but there was nothing else to do but find a place for her to sleep it off, he'd have to find someplace to rest until morning. A paw reached out, settling on a root nearby, his vision instantly moving through the trees, from branch to branch. There, not far away, a small cave, large enough for the two of them for one night, it would do.
"There's a cave this way, we'll sleep there for the night."

Kimaji nodded distractedly, remaining in the water and focusing on some sort of splashing was between her left paw and her right paw. Right paw was totally winning. Soon enough, she actually remembered Cor's question to reply with a proper answer. "Yup! " Not that she'd ever been feeling not-okay.
She perked her ears when he spoke next, tilting her head. Cave? Sleep? She glanced up at the sky. "But it's still sunny.. " A pause. "Okay! " Sleeping was good. Kimaji liked sleeping. She scurried out of the water, for a moment finding the sudden solidness of the floor confusing but managing to not fall over. She also made a lame attempt of trying to dry herself, but it didn't work too well, and she stopped to avoid hitting the floor.

Sigh (he was doing that a lot), Cor rolled his eyes, watching Kimaji play in the water in her stoned state. Sleep, definitely, for her and for him, her to sleep off the mushroom, and him for the headache it was giving him.
"It is, but the sun will set soon."
Well, that was easy, easier than he expected, for now (getting her to actually go to sleep might h ave been harder). Morning was going to be much more difficult, he did not envy the headache she was sure to have when she woke up, but oh he was never going to let her forget it. Never, ever eat the mushrooms, it was a lesson he intended her to remember. This mushroom had only sent her on a high, the next one could do much worse.
"Come on, it's not far."
He was at her side again, offering support if needed, guiding her to the cave, a safe place to rest. A short distance, they had reached the cave, quiet and dry, safe and protected.
"We'll sleep here, You go on in, I'll keep watch a little while."

Kimaji happily went along with Cor the entire way, only stumbling a few times (relatively speaking). She paused at the entrance, for a moment not so sure she wanted to go in for whatever reason. Then, whatever had been bothering her about it was seemingly forgotten and she scurried right in, flopping on the floor lazily.
"Okay, Cor! " She chirped happily from her spot on the floor, staring with interest at a bug that crawled around on the top of the cave. Yes, sleep would take a while to come. But if she stayed put long enough, she'd probably just doze off. Eventually.
