Hoku winced and flopped down on a flat boulder that was slanting slightly out of the ground. He had spent the entire day on his feet, prowling around, spreading the word of his dream. Oh that dream, would come true soon, he knew it. The Great Meeting will begin at the third full moon from now, and they would all meet here. Yes, the boulder that Hoku was laying upon was in the area he hoped to be a meeting place for a great congregation of dragonfly who wished to share in his dream. It was perfect. The area was wide and open, nestled in a nook next to the Sidewinder river. The main area was a meadow, surrounded by a deep and thick forest that was broken only by the river which pushed its way through the trees before disappearing amongst them once more. Hoku look around an admired the area before laying his head back down on his rock, he was exhausted. The sun was setting, casting grand shadows across the meadow, and Hoku felt his eyes begin to droop as sleep fought to overcome his restless mind.

Sabriel walked through the forest and saw a clearing off to the side. There was a river going through it and some rocks...one of the rocks looked to have a black and orange fluff on it. She tilted her head and walked to the edge of the forest. She sat and watched the thing. It was a male, furry but cute. Very nice colors. She sniffed the air and smiled. "Mmm He smells like sweat. A real worker. He looks interesting." she said smoothly as she straightened her gloves and shook out her fur and walked into the field. She walked towards the rock, a smile on her face as she swished her tail and neared the rock he was on. She sat, her chest out as she tried to look cute and smiled sweetly. "Hello bright and dashing. Whats a hansom man like you doing out here looking so tired?" she asked him with a smile as she tilted her head.

Hoku sighed as a sweet smell wafted through the air. For a couple moment, he actually thought he was dreaming. He could almost imagine the girl that accompanied that scent, cute as a button she'd be. Hoku smiled to himself as his thoughts trailed off, only to have the silence broken by an unsuspected voice. His eyes snapped open and he shook his head before peering down from his rocky perch. He could barely hold back a whistle as he quickly found out that his imagination had been correct. The girl attached to the delicious scent on the wind was a looker, she had the cutest little whiskers and large paw gloves that gave her a cat like appearance. He smiled broadly at her comment, he liked her already! "Why hello there cutey! Oh you know how us handsome men are, we've got to have something other than out looks to fall back on." He gave her a gracious wink followed by a heart melting smiled, before continuing, "I really was quite tired a couple moments ago, cause I've been on my paws all day... But I think I can rustle up a bit more energy to entertain an adorable little button like you..."

(Shes also a little smaller then a normal adult should be. Like Eve shes small. ^__^)
Sabriel laughed. She liked this male. Sounded like fun, and he looked fun as well. "Oh well i'm glad i was able to awake such a tired male. I've been quite board for the last few days. I could use someone to entertain me." she said sweetly as she lowered her head, giving a little pout as she swayed back and fourth as she watched him. His smell was nice, she liked the hotness that wafted off him from all the work he had been doing and it seemed that he would be able to come up with something for them to do. "My name is Sabriel by the way, what is yours?" she asked sweetly her eyes fluttering a little.

Hoku smiled sweetly when she laughed, it was a very pleasing sound. He then quirked an eyebrow as she spoke of entertaining. Hoku wasn't one to be the source of someone's entertainment, he usually liked being entertained. But that pout on her face, it was so cute, Hoku felt like he should indulge the little girl's wish, if only a little bit. He chuckled and replied, "Then shimmy your cute little boot up her my dear, I'm sure we can both fit if we..." Hoku paused and raised his eyebrows flirtatiously to give his next word a bit of a stress, "squeeze together... don't worry, I don't bite... hard..." He laughed at his own joke and then replied to her introduction, "Sabriel? Oh, what a cute name to accompany such a cute girl. My name is Hokomistuko... but you can feel free to call me Hoku for short..."

Sabriel smiled and watched him talk. She grinned happily as he said she could join him on the rock. She crouched and then leaped up onto the rock next to him, in one smooth movement. She smiled as she turned, brushing his side with hers and curling her tail around her feet, brushing his cheek with it as she turned. "Why thank you Hoku. Its very nice of you to let me up here. I'm new to this area of the forest. What all is in this area? Is there a good lake with fish in it a little ways down this river?" she asked as she tilted her head at him and smiled.

Hoku shifted a little to the side, giving Sabriel enough room to get up onto the rock. He watched her with an appreciative interested as she leaped through the air and landed on the rock with a cat's grace. Hoku took a deep breath as she brushed against him, drowning in the sweet scent of this new female. As she curled up next to him, Hoku draped his long and softly fluffy tail gently around and over Sabriel. He smiled to her in return before looking off into the distance, in the direction the river was flowing, "If you follow the river, you'll hit a vast lake but... I personally believe there is better fishing in the river...."

She smiled as he rested his tail over her. His scent wafted over the wind as his fluff covered her. "Oh in the river? Well i'll take your word. I'm too light to stand any chance against the pull of the river, i've tried and i'm not that strong of a swimmer, even though i love fish. Its the best, next to rabbit that is." she said with a smile as she watched the river and then looked at Hoku with a smile. "What do you like to eat mostly?" she asked happily as she rested her tail on his feet with a smile.

Hoku chuckled and tickled Eve's nose with the tip of his tail, "I would never let my cute little button get carried away by a river..." He smiled and quirked a curious eyebrow, "So... if you don't fish in the rivers, that must mean you haven't had a good sized river fish in a while. I must say I have a fair paw at catching trout, so if you ever have the urge for one, just let me know...." Hoku paused for a moment to think about her question. He had never really thought about a favorite food before, lately people have been mostly talking about his plans and hopes for the future. Hoku was no longer used to simple personal questions like that any more. He had a feeling if she kept asking him questions, he'd have to distract her somehow.... Anyways, Hoku drove the wandering thoughts out of his head and replied as sincerely as possible, "I never really stick to just one kind of food. I have a very wide pallet range, so I will eat things from raw meat and vegetables to lightly cooked eggs and fruits. But I must say, my favorite meat is probably rabbit or duck...."

Sabriel laughed as his tail tickled her. It was like little bells, almost a giggle but it lasted too long. She liked her new nickname, little button was nice. Better then some of the ones her siblings gave her. She looked at him as he talked about the trout. "Nope not had a river trout before. Sounds good." she said. Not two seconds after she spoke her tummy growled softly, causing her to laugh again. "Well if its ok to take you up on your offer now i wouldn't mind having one if theres any in the river right now." she said as she smiled and looked at the river trying to see if there were any fish in it. "I don't do birds too often just cause i don't have that much energy. Though i do eat bird more then i eat deer. I cant take down a deer by my self. The last deer i had i took down with my siblings." she said as she stood and stretched hoping he was ok with fishing.

Hoku smiled broadly when Sabriel giggled, it was the most adorable sound! But barely seconds passed when he heard a sound that almost rivaled her laugh in cuteness... Sabriel's stomach growled! He chuckled and poked her belly gently with his nose, muttering to it with fake annoyance, "Hush little beast... we'll get this kitten something to eat soon..." Hoku then stood and stretched alongside Sarbiel for a moment before replying, "I do not hunt deer often, I can take one down myself if I truly wanted to, but I do not see the point. I never am hungry enough to eat all the meat, and I've no one that I need to feed. Birds and rabbits are just enough to fill me up..." He smiled and continued, "But I would love to go fishing right now... I haven't gotten my paws wet just for fun in a long while..." And with that Hoku ducked his head and snaked it under Sabriel, twisting in such a way that he deposited her light little form right onto his back with ease. Hoku looked over his shoulder at Sabriel with a cocky smile pulling at the edges of his mouth as he asked, "Comfy, my little button?"

Sabriel giggled softly as he talked to her growling tummy and smiled up at him. He grabbed her and pulled her up onto his back. She held around his neck with her arms as best as she could. She laughed a little excited about riding atop another Dragonfly like this, she hadn't been carried since she was a puppy. She smiled as he used her new pet name again and nodded happily. "Yes i am very comfy, your fluffy fur makes for a nice cushion." She said as she looked around from his back. "Are you sure its ok for me to be on you while you go into the water?" she asked a little nervous she might fall in and get carried away by the strong river current. She looked at him a little worried about falling off him. She was small and he was quite tall. But the thought of fish made her mouth water and she was really looking forward to going with him. A new experience would be exciting!

Hoku chuckled and shook his head a bit so that his fur would tickle Sabriel's face. When she settled, Hoku leaped off of the boulder and yelped, "Well then, off we go!" Landing with extreme grace so as not to jostle his passenger, Hoku padded forward smoothly, as though this was a practiced gesture. He chuckled and replied to Sabriel's concerns, "Is my kitten afraid of heights? Do not worry button, just dig those pretty little claws of yours into my fur and you'll be as secure as a bur. You won't get hurt... not on my watch!" Hoku smiled and whistled through his teeth, a trick he had learned from a wandering elder.
With his long strides, Hoku was able to get over to the river in a matter of moments. He paused slightly on the shore and stared at the water; this was one of the more placid parts of the river, but the current was still moving swiftly. Hoku knew he could traverse this area no problem on his own, but he couldn't help but worry about his little button. He had carried others across the river before, but now it felt strangely different. With a mental shrug, Hoku turned his head slightly and spoke softly to Sabriel, "You may stay up there if you wish, or wait on the shore... I can do this either way... its just up to your personal comfort level at this point my dear..." He chuckled and flicked his head again so that his fur would tickle her slightly, she was so cute!

Kiss Kiss Fall in love
Sabriel looked at the water as they swam. She had held on tightly as he jumped in and she had managed to stay put but she was looking at the waves as they swam and held on tighter not liking the water in her fur. "Um i'll stay here cause i don't want to leave you right now..." She said too comfy holding him to want off his back. She looked at him and smiled happy to be where she was. Why was someone as nice and cute as him being so sweet to someone as weird looking as she was. With her small size and her whiskers...her loved paws and her catlike attitude. "Why are you being so nice to me Hoku?" She asked as she looked away to sneeze cause his long hair tickled her nose.
Maybe you're my love!

Hoku chuckled and called up to her, his strong muscles propelling him easily through the wicked currents, "Can you tangle your claws into my fur? I'll need to rocket-submerge in order to get something good. I think you'll like it if you keep your eyes open..." He smiled, remember himself how beautiful the river was beneath the over current.
Hoku paused to ponder at her question, "Why I am I being nice...? Well... why wouldn't I be? You are a very charming little lady, and I'd be a rather horrible person if I were mean to someone as cute as you..." He smirked flirtatiously, enjoying her surprise as the treatment.
