You can start posting in the new guild. Keep discussion related to guild set up for the time being. Once it's set up then regular discussion can begin. Ideas can be posted in this thread as well.

Yeah, actually, that's a question I've been meaning to ask. WHY exactly are we making another guild? We don't want to bother overhauling this one?

How about a completely new guild?
Everyone puts 1-3K into the ring again and we move on to a new guild.
Sometimes it's a lot better/easier that way... instead of a complete revamping. That way, we'd have a new guild with NO subforums.
I personally think having a ******** of subforums is kinda distracting/tacky... especially since none of them are active at all whatsoever.
It'd also be an easier solution to all the inactive users/threads. We wouldn't have to spend the time deleting them all.
And if, for example, a user wanted something fake news- or viking media- esque, they'd just get their own sticky on the main page.
I was thinking one of two options: 1. Close this guild but keep it existing (i.e don't sell it) for archival purposes. 2.Keep this guild open for gaming related discussion only and have the other one for non-game related discussion (though I don't like that idea too much because we don't really need 2 guilds operating at the same time. )

Wak, the new guild is still public. Maybe we ought to swap the accesses on both and let anyone pop into this one for dicussion. If we need to keep threads from this one, we pick out no more than 20, stick them in a locked subforum for our own use, and let the heyenas at it.

Like make me the Captain for this guild for the day.
You know, it'd just be a funny joke.
Or you could just destroy all the records in here.

A guild I was in (co-owner) was hijacked by a troll/scammer before. The same one did it several times (by harassing the other VCs. The Captain even resigned). They harassed me in the GD and trolled the GD itself horrendously. No offense of course but ever since that I've been extra careful when it comes to that sort of thing.
