It was later on in the night that Mizu Itsu had separated from her sister. She knew that she should not have parted from her...but she did care so much for Xio. She had never felt so strongly to another creature. But why did she just leave her flesh and blood?
She lay in the back of Xio's cave she had not spoken since Setsuna left her. She didn't even talk to Xio. She could not believe the words Xio had said and most of what happened after her burning was fuzzy like a dream so she was not sure what was real or what was fake other than the pain on her chest and arms and her left cheek, and that of her sister's anger and being alone.
She felt so week even though the moon was still high in the sky. She was so emotionally torn right now. She hated the night right now...she wished the sun was up and could burn her soul away right now. She wanted to scream and tear into something but she could not allow her self to do it. No matter how much her mine and body was screaming for it. She looked at her arms knowing that those scars would never heal....she would be scared and branded for the rest of her life.

Even with all the turmoil. It was hard wasn't. Leaving behind blood.. somewhat he couldn't understand it. He laid at the front of the cave. The blood in which he could smell in the air was new- different. All his senses were crazed.. but for now. In this new body he knew of only one thing. Protection. Thats what it was made for.
He was hurt.. that mizu did not even come speak with him.. as if he had captured her and stole her away. He didn't want that but what else could he do? The strong monster that he was.. He watched the moon in the sky and closed his eyes to pray.
"How long." His voice strong... fearless.
The child. Moonflower was different.. She stayed on top of the home they made. Looking up at the sky. SHe wanted to fly up there. Leave this place. Everything seemed so sad here!

Mizu shifted slowly in the back of the cave sitting up. She could see at the front of the cave Xio was laying with the moonlight shining brightly on him. It seemed her mother accepted the large male. She sighed feeling rather more depressed. It was like the heveans were saying that he was the only way. They had changed him from the perfect male to something new. He was not the same male...and her mother though the moon had abandoned her was still ruining her life.
She heared the stronger voice of Xio. He was not fearful and needing of love anything. He did not need her to be strong and protect him. He was not the same...and he needed time to get use to what her mother had done to him. She stood slowly and moved forward, "Xio...I am going to go out for a wail...I...I need to feel the breeze on my face..." she moved carefully past him being careful not to touch the thick unmated and clean fur or body. "I will not be long." she said glancing at him quickly though not meeting his eyes. He was so very strong and he seemed almost wary of the power his new body held.

Xio didn't even think twice- except to raise his head. Looking at her with that sorta of loneliness. "I shall be awaiting your return." He fixed himself off of the curled lay position and repositioned himself to a more. Sturdy way. Sitting up and letting his body tour over her. Only one head taller than her. Letting his unchained tail sweep at the floor. Then lowered his head in a bowing and submissive way. He needed not to question the one he loved.
He would stay and stand the fort. He wanted to ask if he could go with her.. but if she needed air.. she needed space then too right? Yea... His ears slanted down where his mouth-snout moved a little under the skull.
'And if I extend my hands~' She asked.. but she got no answer. The moon~ the stars.. Why did they betray her. Why wasn't she destined to live up there!? And with that thought.. she laid back.. and passed the hell out. Total wipe out.

Why did seeing me tower even greater over her just make the female's body quake with more anger. She could not believe that fate would be so cruel. She swore that she would not bring any more night children into the world. Not that she thought she could have children with Xio and now seeing what her mother did....what the moon had cursed her with she was not to wanting to even try.
She walked slowly and a bit weakly out of hearing and then out of view of the cave. her sister was right. She took a deep breath and glared at the sky. "You whore of the sky....how dare you change him like this. I can not love one not of your prefect world? You had to change him to allow my love to be with him? You are nothing but a flithy whore! Every where there are children of the moon....I am not the only one who has your mark on them...you casted me aside to make newer better moon children....give me a knife and allow me to cut off the symbols of the moon then mother...if you are so disappointed then by all means let me remove all traces of your failed design!" she grew mad for the second time in her life. She glared down at the earth. Xio's sister was so much wanting to be up there then why didn't she just go.
As Itsu walked she wondered how long Xio would wait for her. She sighed knowing she would have to return. He would stay outside the cave guarding her within. Nothing would happen between them. They both were too confused with what had happen. She could not look at him. The sigh of her mother's mocking pattern on his body was too much.
After killing five rabbits the exiled daughter of the moon walked back towards the caves. She would give moonflower one and then give Xio the remaining three. He needed food after all and she could not let harm fall him. Even if she was so afraid that all she loved in him was gone. They had not spoken hardly at all since his change. And it did not seem likely that they would any time soon.

Xio sprawled out in the front of the cave. Watching... and on top of the cave there was moonflower tying to see what the next star had to bring. "How long would it be.." He said aloud again. Til he changed back or had no energy to continue. Things of that nature would dissipate. The love he had was ruled by Itsu without her even knowing. His skulled face- under was a very tender face.. Eyes slitted.. looking out. If he moved and then Itsu were to come back to find no one? That'd be a sin against him and her.. So he stayed. "SHould I follow."
Then without his knowing moonflower rolled on her side and looked down. Grasping on some of the scattered grass that hung and twings. "I think you should follow your heart big brother." Her eyes softened.. she was growing more mature in personality. Hoping he would understand. "If you ran after her- and if she came back .. what would your heart say... why do you not speak with her instead of waiting for her to speak to you.. Why did Sterren have to leave- she was only trying to help." She had many questions that were left with drops of anguish. Why. Those dreaded questions.
"Sterren always has a home here as long as you allow it." Lifting up his body and then slightly shaking of the excess weight of fur. "Why- I do not have all the answers.. bu I will heed your words...lil sister.. you are growing up.." Then- to all fours where he started off where Itsu's scent trailed to.. Hoping to find her and encounter her.. Moonflower sat on the cave and watched.. as her brother was daring to make a future. A thought.. the want to begin a life in his new body...
Many thoughts swirled his head- not knowing what he would really say but he would attempt it. The best he thought he could.

Mizu Itsu made her way towards the caves. she did not look up at her mother nor did she plan to look up there ever agan. She walked slowly her eyes scanning the ground looking for anything sharp. She was going to make ture her promise and oath to her mother. She would never again call the sky her home. She was just another nameless spawn that was colored vagely like the moon. In fact she knew if she did not have the two moon marking no one would never know that she was from the sky. Her body bore no stars just the two moons. She smiled finding a sharp stone she held it close as she continued to walk.
It was not long until she saw the caves coming into view and she could see that Xio was no longer in front of the caves. That acutally surprised her. "I guess he went after Sterren. She shrugged and walked into the clearing. She took a breath and though the thought of speaking to Xio or his sister did not please her she would do it. "Moonflower." she called out, "I brought you something to eat.." she headed towards the entrance. "I know that my sister will not speak to me again but I can if you like take you to where we use to stay so you can be with your friend again. If you like that is..." she sighed and moved to hold out the rabbit for Moonflower. The other three that she had not eaten hanging behind her.

Moonflower gazed.. until she was brought to reality. The smell of blood and fresh meat made her turn over again and look at down the side of teh cave. "Mizu Itsu?" She inquired.
"....Where-..what." Quickly she came to her own conclusions and stood up just as quickly as she thought. "What are YOU doing here?" Tilting her head. "Big brother went to go find you." Her ears went down..
"He must have gotten lost!" Jumping down and shaking her medium lengthed hair out. "He got up out of that spot to go find you.. and ..and.. poor brother! You gotta find him!" Almost looking distressed.. she knew she could find him but if he had gotten lost.. and never found Mizu Itsu.. and if she didn't go out and find him he would want to stay lost.. She knew her brother THAT well.
She looked at the food and then looked at Itsu again.. "You...went and hunt for us.." Calming just a little but the big distress was in that her brother had gotten lost. Now.. where was he?
In the switch of the token. Xio was walking- carefully and slowly through the woods. Hoping and looking not to crush a poor animal with his weight on one paw. Waving his tail also carefully.. it was strange- he wasnt DIRT anymore. Now he could walk and see some animals even bow their heads in a nod at least once as he pasted by. Guarding the area- for them and his new family.. or what he wanted to call family. Mizu.. that was what he will tell her. "Be my family.." He said softly .. but his voice had grown in depth. It was also time for a bath.. for the blood of his crushing yet growing bones had made his body in some parts bleed through the pores..But for Itsu- his mind was on her and how he would approach her. What he will say.. Passing the trees and following the pure scent of her. Why- did it linger and make his chest hurt.. that she was not beside him?

Mizu Itsu watched Xio's sister and shook her head, "Your brother is a hunter first. He is following my scent then as he tries to find me. He will eaisly be able to trace it back here....do not worry he will follow the scent home and not be lost." she said in her silvery voice that though still rang painful too silver for her ears was a bit more muted in tone.
She sighed and climbed up to the highest point on the rocks to keep and eyes open for Xio. "He will make his weigh back as he find that the fresher strong scent of me had returned home. I am sure you bother used to go out all the time alone..." she said and moved a hand to her chest where she was keeping the small sharped rock hidden under her fur. As her hand moved over her chest her fingers brushed over some of the burn marks left from Xio's change.
"You really do not like being alone to you Moonflower...when your brother returns would you like me to go and find my sister for you? Or would you prefer to be with....Sterren?" Her tone was held even threw her statement though her resentment for the fallen star was something that made Mizu's body tense. Looking at Moonflower and seeing the moon mark on her Mizu looked away. "If you want I will skin your rabbit for you....I can even cook it if you like." And remove this mark from myself, she added on in thought.

Moonflower was not at all happy that she did not feel an ounce for her brother. For her brother was too in love with her to probably use those same hunter like skills... Poor brother.. "WHy dont ...why.." She had her eyes circling to almost cry. "Do you know all he thinks about is you! WHY!" She looked at the food and felt so hungry.. FOOD~.... But brother..
SO hard to choose..
"I wont eat until he comes back.. he is too blind in love with you.... to even think of himself.. why dont you see that.." Her ears drooped down. "There is no star brighter..." She said softly..
"When brother comes back I want to go with sister Setsuna... I dont want to be where I am not wanted." She curled her small arms around herself.. "Just cause Im lil doesnt mean I dont see.."
As xio kept looking~ hesitating.. and want. Desire~ to prove and think on what to say~

Mizu Itsu was growing more and more impacitent with the world her ex mother was toying with. She looked at the young and innocent Moonflower. Who was so happy until Sterren had to show up. Mizu sighed and let the rabbits drop in front of Moonflower. "You are more upset that you can not go to the sky world than you are worried for your brother right now. You are upset because the Moon casted Sterren down to ruin your brother and when the little star of heaven wanted to return the moon did not grant her that. She punished your bright star friend by damming her to loose the life she knew and be forced to walk the earth. The moon does not take pitty on us. She only ruins us."
She turned to look at the woods. "Your brother was brillant and then the moon came and screwed him up. She took what I loved and she tore from him what I love. She made him into what she wanted. Forced a fate on him neither he nor I wanted and you still wish to be one of her children. She has ruined four lives here. And she will never answer for it. Though one day I will kill her...you better enjoy your ideas of heaven Moonflower for I will kill them moon. I will destroy that false goddess for the lives she ruined and the dispare she leaves those bastards she calls children with."
She moved to the edge of the woods. She hated the star but seeing how Moonflower was so depressed, that ment that Sterren had not returned now would she be able to. The moon had ruined, four innocent lives here and that would not be forgive. "Your brother loves you Moonflower. He will not let harm come to you. He is not blinded by love for me he is confused with what the Moon did to him. I loved Xio. I found a reason to enjoy life. To not morn being on the earth and then the Moon had to send a star to ruin him!" She was shaking with anger and tears. Raising her silvery pained voice she called out. "XIO I HAVE RETURNED TO YOUR HOME RETURN AND EASE YOUR SISTER'S WORRIED HEART!"
She then turned to look at Moonflower. "You see Moonflower...if he is the Gaurdain of the moon then that means simply that we are now siblings. Your brother and I are children of the moon. We too are sisters then. And Setsuna is yours as well...if you do not wish to be with your brother and sister of the night then I will gladly take you to your sister of the day...who parent has not yet given up on her. The God of the Sun is more forgiving and gentle than the Godess of the Moon who is jealous of all those who dare to feel hope. Moonflower...never loose your hope or you will end up slaves like your brother and I." She looked at the younger girl with tears falling down her cheeks.

Tears started to stream fro her eyes as her 'sister' yelled at her. "How- how" She hurt the very core of her. And even destoryed what she thought was the most loving thing about her. That she watched the bunnies fall and she just cried out. "I HATE YOU!" And like a daughter- saying this to a scolding mother or father she ran off.
From first she didn't like her.. then after she supported her brother going after to her. To this. A disaster. She wished her brother here.. but no. He was out looking for her! To have her here. Now.. in front of her saying horrible things. Setsuna. SHe HAD to find her.. and thus she ran off. Setsuna.. or or .. sterren.. anybody!
Xio looked around- following the scent until his ears were touched by Mizu's voice. He turned back and looked up. His fangs longer than his chin by now. Everything was changing and he only wanted Mizu. Mizu to stay the same.. and love him. Consoul hi that he was STILL useful. But it all went wrong. When he was going to tell her everything.. he ran. Ran after the voice.. and thus breaking bushes down and not even caring if any animals were in the way. Her voice.. cracked. Made him worry...
Now only a few minutes did he get there and make himself know as his tail slammed in to a tree.. Stopping in the opening of the area around the cave.. Looking Mizu in the face.. and trails of Moonflower flowing through the air... His face.. and his body throbbing still.. and huffing from his heart racing with the thoughts of her. What he'd say.. He stood almost 7 and half feet tall now. With muscles that were torn in to place.
But after seeing her.. his words evaporated.. then he tossed his head up and howled.. a long a desperate howl... Then after.. he looked at her. Sadly... and tears running down his face.
"Why..."

Mizu Itsu watched Moonflower run off. The young female didn’t seem to want to hear the truth. She took the yelling and watched the young female disappear into the night. The truth was not a pleasant thing to face. It always hurt. She took a slow breath and then she heard the loud thud of Xio. She looked up at the form that dwarfed her. She looked at his shaking pained muscles and the tears down his face. “I am safe Xio…as I said I went hunting. I brought you four rabbits and your sister one as well.” her voice was again even but the normal silvery tones were replaced with tired and slightly horse sounding. “You sister is upset with the truth and has run off. I do not think she wishes to see or speak to me right now. If your body is not too tired I think she needs you.”
Her twin tails flicked around her thighs as she looked away from Xio and knelt to pick up the rabbits. She did not know why he was waking why. Nor did she know an answer for him. The moon was a cruel mistress. She wanted to laugh but she stayed quiet as she gathered the food. She knew the moon must be disapproving of their possible joining. Maybe she was even jealous that Mizu and Setsuna did not need ‘heaven’ to be happy. “Your sister needs you if you are able to go to her. If you can stomach food then maybe you should try to eat. I will be here when you return. I won’t just run away.” she said softly standing and holding out two rabbit carcass.

AFter a few.. she heard a thud. The roughness of her brother's new body. SHe looked back.. And she could still see them. From way way afar but she could see his big body still and her ears went down. "Why does he love her anyways.. she doesn't apperciate him at all!" She slammed her hand in to tree.. What happened to her strength? That's what she will do.. Find Setsuna.. And get comfort from the sunny side of her form.
Which she went and seeked.
Xio grunted. "Unless you tell me your staying forever I will not leave." Tossing his head to the side and shook it a bit. "Why don't you understand.. I don't want to pressure you but you leave me no choice. I can't see a life without you. My sister will grow to understand it.. in fact she told me the truth in what I have felt for you. I won't leave your side.. and if you don't come with me to find her. I won't go neither." Muscles still sore he ducked his head down a bit to show he was.. XIo still. Eye level.. well. Head level. "Answer." Behidn his skull.. the kindhearted Xio still lied there. Breathing heavily- one that wanted to rampage because if he didn't have her. He did not want to continue.. and that's how much he just fell..
