The birds gave another loud chirp from the large canopy branches above as the petite ebony filly peered around the edge of the small oaken tree hoping to catch the glimpse of ebony or tanned colt from racing away as they had been doing so for the last hour. Nothing fluttered into the line of sight and the filly gave a somewhat sour look on her face, it just wasn’t fair. Every time they played hide in go seek or tag they always left her as being it first just because they knew she wasn’t the best at playing it, and with her luck she always had the tendency of getting somewhat lost while trying to find them. Another small exhausted sigh escaped Cerys lips as she didn’t see hide no tail of the boys, knowing them they were probably already back to their little nestled home fighting over who arrived first while her mother would try to interrogate what happened to her missing filly.
Great! Cerys thought as she rolled her eyes, she again had managed to find herself lost in the small thicket of woods and by the small grumbling rumble that crept it ways up from her stomach meant that it was probably getting close to lunch time. Cerys stuck out her tongue as if to make a somewhat unneeded silly face to the empty space around the trees as if to mock them for being so much alike. She knew it wouldn’t belong now before she would be able to hear the loud pounding of hooves of her parents looking for her, but in the meanwhile she decided that maybe she would continue to have a look around.
