Kokumo is a typical middle-school brat. She's very catty, quick to gossip and judge, and is incredibly childish overall. If she were a regular human, this would be incredibly annoying.
As an Emere, this is still really annoying -- but there's an explanation behind it. She died the day she graduated from middle school, and when she tried to see her family again, they slammed the door in her face. Her friends abandoned her as well. When she figured out the rules no longer applied to her, she made her own.
She had dreams of being a fashion model before she died, and she still holds onto these dreams as an Emere. She always tries to keep up with the latest trends, but mostly falls short.
Kokumo is also neuroatypical; she has NVLD. Because of this, she has trouble floating around properly (bumps into things a lot) and tends to take things far too literally. She's also bad with navigation.
When she finds someone to truly care about, she's incredibly loyal and will refuse to double-cross you, even if it means trouble for her. She still tries to believe in people overall, but is losing hope every day.
