Yeah, I've been a fan of the series up through the one where their leader is a dog-person and it took place in the future. My favorite thing to come out of it is the Go, go parody rangers, which is on newgrounds. It's all kinds of ridiculous, mixed with nostalgia. I've enjoyed it quite a lot.
One of my favorite actors out of that whole series is Johny yong Bosch! He was the second black ranger. He's also done vash of trigun, kuhn (.hack), ichigo (bleach), and koizume (from haruhi suzumiya).
Watching the bonus features of suzumiya, one of them was the ASOS brigade. That starred Patricia Lee, who was also a power ranger! (the third pink one, that went into space) She even did some pink ranger poses! Pure awesomeness.
The best part is when Patricia interviewed Johny. It was ridiculous. There was light talk, and poses! Sure, they posed in some hallway, but it was still cool!
AHHHHH, FANBOY FUSES BLOWN!

HOSNAP! Bashu da Sutamupidu was a Power Ranger???
I never really liked the PR series, but it doesn't mean I didn't watch it. I remember when the school was abuzz when the white ranger was going to be revealed and even I tuned in to find out who it was.
However much I didn't watch PR, I do take a shinning to sentai series, even if they were just parodies. Every time a set of characters break out in primary colors and goofy poses I have to laugh. Random thoughts of the Ginyu Force always made me strike poses in public for no apparent reason.
I'd have to say that the traditional sentai series are slowly being replaced with simple groups of heroes all generally wearing the same color. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, okay, well, Naruto IS a bad thing... stare
On another note: Wow, they had a violet ranger. That's almost as obscure as Venus from the live action TMNT! I want to play Yoshi's Story now...

My mom wouldn't let me watch it when I was a kid. Then we moved to finland, and they didn't have it on tv here... I remember crying because all of my friends were always talking about it, but I couldn't watch it, because my mom thought it was too violent. Lulz.

I want to play Yoshi's Story now... Funny coincidence, Venus and the other turtles WERE on an episode or PR! Since both shows were on Fox, and made by the same company, they were able to do such things. But yeah, Vash himself. After Bosch quit PR, he did small voice roles until he did the voice of the humanoid typhoon, which launched his career as a voice actor. My friend is very lucky, cause she got to meet him and crispin freeman back at the anime expo in 06. Lucky. And speaking of ginyu force and bad poses, APRIL 10!

I didn't really watch the show. Didn't watch TV much, and that may have had something to do with it. But I remember having to break up fight among the kindergartners because they were pretending to be Power Rangers and kept kitting each other. Never quite understood that, since I thought the members of the team wouldn't hit each other. Oh, well. They were only 5-year-olds! I remember the song, though. That song will get in my head sometimes and won't go away. Over and over it plays until I wish I could rip my brain out! scream

DiDiW scream scream scream scream scream Now it's in there! Blast it all! I'm going to be singing it all day at work now! I'll get you for this... gonk gonk gonk Crap! Please don't send the zords after me. I like not being squashed by giant robots. I once built the white falcon zord completely out of legos. What was really cool about it was it not only looked just like the real thing, I made the wings move and the missiles shoot and everything! It was my favorite toy at the time. Then I made the mistake of destroying it for something else. I still regret doing that. gonk

Legos!!! I love Legos! I haven't a creative bone in my body, sadly, so I can only make the things in the pictures, and only then by following the directions. But I love seeing all the cool things that can be made with Legos. I once saw a fully functional piano made from Legos. I didn't get to Legoland this trip to San Diego, but I will go there someday. Did you even get a picture of the zord you made?
Don't worry, you can fight off the giant robots with your bloody machete!
