((Note you can see these from the first division but it isnt in the first division area.))
A large rectangular stone block its about 5 feet off the ground. This is the ring where Shinigami are aloud to test each other. Anyone can come here at any time and fight. The ring has a barrier which is impenetrable from the inside. There are usually people siting around the ring watching the younger Shinobi try to settle disputes, mostly 11th division uses the place...

Shirou entered the battle ground dropping his cloak by the side of the arena. He took position at the far side of the arena, waiting for his enemy.

Shinji followed Shirou to the area, jumping on the round arena. He stood at the opposite end of it in comparison to Shirou. He unsheathed his zanpakutou along with removing his sheath from the sash around his waist. He then waited for Shirou to begin.

He drew his Zanpakutou holding it in reverse in his right. He pointed his middle and index fingers at his enemy. "Lets begin." A blast of blue lightning fired from his fingers without a word. It lost 75% of its power without the name or incantation but it was still about as powerful as a 5th seat could manage with full incantation.

As Shiro pointed his fingers, it made it obvious what he was going to do. In response to it, Shinji simply maneuvered slightly to the right, causing the lightning to miss its target. While this occurred, Shinji kept his eyes on Shiro. He also dropped his sheath. After moving to the right, he held his arm out with the hand opened, revealing his palm.

((lets say roughly a foot ball field.))
As he saw his target move he would sustain the blast moving it at him like a giant beam sword of lightning. He was wondering if he should just use his shikai and save the time, hell right now he could cast uninterrupted, later it might be more difficult.

Shinji fired a a ball of red Riatsu towards Shiro. The blast worked both offensively and defensively. As he fired it, he jumped slightly backwards, the blast propelling him far enough to once again, dodge the the lightning.
((Didn't realize you could control the lightnign after it was fired...))

Rednal Ak'Thias quietly sat on one of the benches outside of the arena, watching as two Shinigami began combat. He wasn't the type to duel himself, but it was basically free entertainment. He had something to watch while he had a snack, and without even lifting a finger or speaking a word to make it happen. Nice. Very nice indeed. Rednal smiled as he relaxed and settled down to watch the fight. Let the young have their fun, and he could just do whatever. It was nice to have things this way and not have all the burdens of rank... though deep down, he did wish he could let loose every now and then. But he had to stay as he was, a normal Shinigami, to be happy.

It looked like bala, but that was impossible he himself saw the last Vizard die. He ignored that and dodged it, letting his lightning go. He would start his chant. "Our souls, hard yet firm, Our power tearing the mountains." He would chant as he flew through the air stopping he flew as the red blast impacted the shield wall. He would not allow anyone to interrupt his chant, he could still defend, however he could not use his Riatsu for anything more than the most basic flight.

Ike walked to the dual ground with his hands in his pockets and looked at them with his hands in his pockets. "Hmm look like someone fight each time. And This is really interesting battle!" Ike slowly walks to Rednall with his hands in his pockets next him then sit.

As the ball of red Riatsu was sent forward, Shinji used Shunpo to travel behind it. He lowered it down as to not run into the ball. Right as Shiro would move to avoid the ball of Riatsu, Shinji would come out form behind it, attempting to make a horizontal cut at Shiro's lower torso.

Rednal didn't bother to look up as someone sat next to him. He was much more interested in just relaxing and enjoying his meal as an ordinary Shinigami of no rank whatsoever. Which didn't prevent Rednal from knowing exactly who was next to him, of course. All the more reason to be normal. Still, it looked like something fun would be happening sooner or later, so he might get a really good show out of this.

Shrio would block by adjusting himself so that his blade was horizontal and he was upside down. His weight stopping the attack as he made a floor on top of his feet with a small amount of Riatsu. He would speak to his opponent this time, it sounded almost insulting as he chanted. "Our swords splitting the water, Our names reaching the villa." His voice boomed with a deep sound, he was almost there soon this man would feel his aggressive power, and would fall to it.

Shinji continued to conduct his assault. He made several swings of his blade; the first was a upward, horizontal swing to the right; the next was a vertical, downward slash; the last one was a stab-like maneuver, aiming for his upper chest this time. Throughout his assault, with every swing, he focused a small bit of Riatsu into his blade.

Ike slowly turned his head back to someone next his meal as relax with his hands in his pockets and sighed. This man is look like nothing serious as just relax as watch two shingami. Ike turned back to leave him alone.
