Reccently I have been seeing alot of signatures with this posted in it
"Reccently alot more people have been listening to (c)rap music, if your one of the few who listen to rock post this in your signature"
or something like that.
well, I for one say my ipod is full of every kind of music
Mostly Indie, rock , pop, and techno
but ive got metal country and other stuff as well....
I like it all O.O

I love rock, it was and always will be my first love, but I listen to just about everything, you know if it's something to listen to than I'm there, music is awesome there are narrow minded people out there and NO not everyone is narrow minded it's just that I mean ok you know thats what you like to listen to, whatever I love music my friends give me suggestion Im gonna go check it out when I get home, my mp3 player is full of music, for Religious to Rock to Scremo to Techno, I love music it's my life well a significant part of my life and always will be.

I think its fine to like everything because everyone has different tastes.Everyones taste is unique like that person.It expresses who we are or want to be in life.

I think that eventually you branch out and listen to other stuff. I grew up a hardcore Metal head, but through out the years, I found myself branching off into Industrail music, and from there I discovered Goth. So in a way its kinda hard just to stick to one genre. I tried and did for years, but after a while you need some sort of change. I'm still a metal head, but I do enjoy other genres to break thengs up.

I know very few people who don't like rock (old school for me) and I am one of those who doesn't listen to (c)rap music, but there's more than just the two genres.
I've got a little bit for everyone (except you rap heads... UGH) on my Music Player 3 (yes, I did just call it that) because music is AWS-TOME!!!!!!!!! And helps you make lots-o-friends.

I am definitely eclectic in my tastes haha. I was playing some music and my dad walked in and just walked out again. He later says he doesn't understand my taste in music. It's always good to like all different things. There are so many music lovers out there of all different styles! I mean I probably lean more to Alternative/Indie Rock, but -shrugs- I like it all. And there's nothing wrong with it lol.

...At the corridor Ai, I knew this about you ^-^ not to may Indie fans though I like HelloGoodBye and Modest Mouse, I listen to everything I feel there is always one song good in every genre in from that one song can branch a whole lot more. I guess I am a instrumental moodist and The lyrics are important as well.

I usually don't like most hiphop music and I prefer rock but I also have my likes and dislikes in both genres. I hate most emo, but love some emo too. For dance I like hiphop rap, but I hate most techno music. I listen to rnb, metal, some opera, and whatever other genres exist out there. As long as it's good to the ears it's okay with me.
I guess, whenever people say that your music is crap, it shouldn't be that big a deal because for sure some music is crap for us too. It's just a matter of preference.

I think it's good to like different types of music and not just one because first that shows that you are unique in what you listne to and two, that your open to different things (in my opinon). I listen to so many types of music like rock, rave, dance, and everything else. I can't stand just staying on one genre for too long.

Ever heard of punctuation marks? On to the topic, I think one has to be able to appreciate every possible genre. I'm not saying you must love all kinds of music, but generalizations such as 'rap sucks' are pretty lame. There is decent rap as much as there is crappy rap and crappy rock. I think I made my point.

I'll listen to anything once, for a try. I like pretty much all kinds of music, but there are some genres where I'm just more picky than others. I'm very selective about the rap and hip hop I listen to, whereas I enjoy almost all Indie and AltRock stuff.
Liking a wide range of anything, be it music or something else, is always good. It makes you a more well-rounded person.

I listen to different types of music too, but I tend to get more attached to songs with drums and guitars. Maybe we should start spreading around a new signature.
