This'll be fun. What you do on this topic is post an older game from any system you own as long as it isn't part of a mainstream series that everyone mentions (IE Zelda, Mario Bros., Metroid, Kirby etc.) If you find anyone who has mentioned a game that you have played before, you can discuss the game or just add to the list. I'll start us off.

NES: Astyanax, Faxanadu, Shadowgate, Kickle Cubicle

SNES: Lagoon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV, Clayfighter II

The best co-op two-player game for the SNES had to be TMNT IV: Turtles in Time. I was always competing for points whether my friends knew it or not.

Ikaruga was amazing, as EC said. 3nodding It was unpopular on GC and DC. x_x;
I liked Legend of Zelda II : Adventure of Link for NES. It seems like no one else likes that game. sweatdrop

Turtles in Time is one of my most played SNES games. It was defintely one of the best co-op games for the system.
Also, Lost Vikings. I never hear anything about that game, but in my opinion it is a really great game.
And Blackthorne for the SNES. I never played a whole lot of this game, but what I did play was quite good.

Hm...

I always enjoyed the Gundam Battle Assault games.

And I liked Mystical Ninja Goemon for N64. The first one.

That game was hard, but Shadow Link really wasn't that tough. It was the swarms of enemies that seemed to be the toughest part of the game... that and lava.

Man, you guys are doing pretty well with this topic. Aside from Zelda II, I have neither heard of nor played any of these games. Zelda II was just kind of annoying to me. Maybe if it were a more modernized version of its gameplay, then I'd enjoy it, but a game with that kind of gameplay should be re-made in something other than 8-bit.

I bought that game, beat it, and loved it. Although the whole "going crazy" thing got old and anoying after a while, it was still great.
