Tifu sat on the edge of a small pond, dragging her paw through the water. She knew her papa had run into this new lioness and, well, she had no other idea other than that. Did he like her? Would she replace Mama and abu-Nafasi's mate? What was she like? The growing lioness sighed and made swirls in the shallow water. So far, she'd had several visions. Too bad none of them really came in handy, just memories the other lion had. And what was really weird was that she had never had one about her papa.

Yet.

Nafasi rested upon a rcok, not far from his cub, but far enough away that she couldn't hear his tired sigh. Life had become one large, complicated glob, and he felt all the pressures of the world crushing down on him. Cala was a kind lioness, and funny...and beautiful. But he still loved Salaa with all his heart. So it hurt when he contemplated letting another into his heart.

But...hadn't he let Tifu do that? So why couldn't he let Cala? The lion glanced to his left, where Tifu was currently pawing at the water. His thoughts immediately took on a lighter tone, and he chuckled. Tifu looked so bored, and it was rather funny. So, to entertain himself (and his cub), the lion pushed himself off his rock, and using his stealthy skills, slinked over behind her. "Tifu," he said in his most frightening tone, and then pounced at her, attempting to tumble them both into the water.

But...he was never really good at aimming, and leapt just above Tifu's head, and landed with a splash into the water. Bubbles rose from the water, and then his head crashed through, and he gasped, sucking in air. He looked at Tifu, and grinned. "That didn't work out how I planned it. Now, get in here, so I feel like less of an idiot." he chuckled and splashed at the water with his paws. He had always been an odd lion. Water never really bothered him.

Tifu gasped when her papa soared over her, flopping into the water with a splash that made her mildly soaked. She blinked through the water and then grinned at her papa's words.
"I can help with that!" she exclaimed back and dashed towards him, a smile on her maw as she forgot all of her worries.
"Making you not look silly is a bit more difficul-" she began and then pawed at her papa's chest, the world suddenly going white as her eyes glazed over, her body becoming as still as stone.
