His stopwatch swaying to and fro against his hip, Chronos ambled along the forest path with no true destination in mind. With cloak hood drawn over his head and leaning heavily on his scythe like an old man, he paused against a large tree just beginnign to bloom with the coming spring and leaned against it; deciding now was the perfect time to rest.
"I may be late returning home if I go any furthre into these woods." He mumbled to himself, brushing off his starry cloak. "Heh, oh well... I don't believe I've been this far." He glanced off towards the distance and with a sigh, he continued down the dark path.

Kanna was sitting under a huge oak tree near the dark path that Chronos was on. She had wandered from the Dead Woods but had no real destination in mind. Thus she ended up here under this tree. She was gazing into her mirror and was watching what Blue was doing. Her owner was off in the town doing some shopping with some of the other moonlits.
Looking up from the mirror she made it's picture go blank. Her ears twitched as she listened. She could have swore she heard a voice down the path.

Picking up his stopwatch, Chronos stared down at the lovely numbers that he adored as he walked; only pausing when he approached a large bush in his way in the path. Sighing at the hassle of it all, he carefully jumped over it and landed with a thud on the other side of it and stumbled forward clumsily a few steps before catching his balance. He laughed at himself and continued on, sniffing curiously at the air to see if he could pick up on something new. There was something that he was beginning to pick up though... it was faint but it was something familiar. Frowning and peering out from under his cloak's hood, Chronos glanced around warily.
"Is there anyone out there?" He called out to the darkness. He groaned after he realized that was probably the last thing he should have done.

Kanna was about to dismiss the sounds she heard as her imagination when she heard a thud. She glanced around for a moment not seeing anything. Standing up she slowly made her way to the path. She spotted a moonlit on it wearing a cloak and holding a scythe. Something about him seemed familiar.
Waiting at the edge of the path she wondered how long it would take for him to notice her and her white glory in this darkness. "Hello." She said quietly deciding not to wait to find out.

Chronos was not answered, much to his relief, and had begun to start off again when he noticed a white figure out of the corner of his eye as he passed by. Wait, white figure? Just my luck, I called a ghost to me. When she spoke quietly in greeting, he turned then and shook off his hood to stare at the ethereal white anthro before him. He opened his mouth to speak but was struck speechless for the first time truly taking in her beauty. It was strange; why hadn’t he noticed it before this. Shaking his head, he cleared his throat and tried to speak again.
"It seems we have a penchant for running into each other." Chronos leaned against his scythe and smiled at her. "Ah, hello and greetings to you as well. What brings you this far into the woods?”

A faint smile could be seen on Kanna's face, if you were looking for it, when Chronos spoke. "Yes we do." She said blandly. Her tail moved idly to and fro as she looked at the bigger anthro. "I live nearby. Was just getting away from everyone else and decided to watch." She said taking in the scythe, "What brings you here with that?" She shifted her mirror to one hand and pointed to the scythe with the other.

She lived nearby? He glanced around at the dark woods and tilted his head curiously.
"Interesting, I thought everyone lived at the manor." Watching her movements with her mirror, Chronos found himself once more mesmerized by the piece of glass and shook his head before looking back at her. He noticed she was pointing at his scythe and he smiled. "This is my trusty, dangerous walking stick. Mostly it's my protection. I do not know this area or what I may run into. I'm pleased though to have run into you. It is nice seeing you again." He glanced down at his scythe and then back at her and held it out. "Would you like to hold it?"

"No not everyone. My owner and her moonlits live either in her cabin or some place here in the woods." Kanna said with a nod, "Yes there are many dangerous creatures out here." She stared at his 'walking stick' for a moment before shaking her head. "No thank you. I do not want to take your protection away from you." She said holding her mirror in both hands now, "....... Yes it is nice to see you again." She paused for a few moments before slightly tilting her head. "Can I join you as you wander around here?"
((OMG! Kanna is expressing interest! I must study this phenomenon very closely! -shot-))

Chronos nodded, making a note to himself to ask his own human about living out in the forest. It seemed more lively and thrilling to be out here. When she declined the offer for his scythe, he returned to leaning heavily against it as he always did and watched her tilt her head in the most adorable fashion. He so caught up in staring at her apparence that he was caught off guard by her question.
"What?" Shaking his head, he shrugged and glanced around the dark woods he had been exploring. It might be nice to have a guide who knew the area so he didn't get lost. Pulling himself to his full height, he stared down at Kanna and nodded his head, laughing slightly. "I would love for you to join me. Your presence is always greatly welcomed. Are there any particular places of interest that you enjoy going to? I'm afraid I do not know these woods as well as I probably should."

Kanna stared at Chronos when he leaned on his scythe and asked what. She wondered why he leaned on his weapon so much. Was he injured or had a bad leg? Also why had he missed what she asked? She lightly shook her head to clear these odd thoughts from her head.
"There is not much here." She said, "I generally stick to my home, the Dead Woods." She glanced around before facing him again. "Other than that I do not know much of what is here. The others explore more than I do."

"Hm, we have that in common. I generally stick to my own hom--The Dead Woods?" He had heard of that place. The knights in his pack had warned him away from the place, telling him to keep his distance but in Chronos' book, that was an open invitation to go and check it out. He wagged his tail and nodded. "I have heard of such a place and I've always been curious about it. Could we perhaps venture there?"

Kanna once again tilted her head at Chronos. He was so odd. "Yes the Dead Woods. It is nearby." She said nodding, "If you wish I can take you there." With that she turned her back on him and took a few steps into the woods. "This way." She walked even further but made sure that she would be in sight of the taller anthro. He should be able to catch up quickly since he has longer legs than her.

Chronos nodded but he realized she didn't see it since she had turned her back and had begun to walk off into the woods. She was a interesting creature indeed; strange but interesting and if he didn't get a move on the pale anthro was going to leave him behind. Smiling at her retreating form, he didn't bother to lean on his scythe and hobble about this time. He tucked it against his body and followed after her quickly.
"Thank you Kanna. I really appreciate this." He said to her, glancing to the side and then down after realizing she was not the same height as he. "Do you live alone in the Dead Woods?"

Kanna began to veer off to the left as Chronos caught up. "..... It's no problem." She said still unable to say your welcome. She looked up at him and shook her head. "No. There are now many of us living there. Roxas and his family, Hecate and her's, Agrona and her's, and a few extras." She said pausing, "I can show them to you if you want." She stopped walking altogether and faced him holding out her mirror.

((after a slight delay I has returned! *pegged with a scythe* X___x!! ))
Following obediently behind his young guide, Chronos listened to her intently. He could not understand why he was slightly relieved that she didn't live off alone someone, isolated with no one. Glancing down at her, he shook his head to clear his thoughts as something she had propsed caught his attention. Stopping and staring at the mirror she held up, he studied it intently before looking at Kanna again.
"Intriguing, this looks like a simple mirror. And it can show us the others you spoke of? Hm... yes, I would like very much so to see them." This had his attention. He enjoyed strange and interesting things like this for reasons he couldn't explain. He smirked at Kanna as he eagerly awaited to see her use her mirror. "You're full of surprises. Can this mirror do anything else?"
