This is the Sub-Thread for the hopefully soon-to-be Guild ComicUPDATE! A rough story line has been made. The comic will take place in the air city, Anachronism. The story will be about the daily lives of the people of the city. The antagonist of the story will be a currently un-named group of airpirates who have a huge (and currently un-named) airpirate "mother ship". Some guest stars and side characters will be able to be pirates. The main focus of the story will be the struggle between the city and the relentless pirates. It will also focus on showing you what it would be like to live in an air city. The view, the gadgets, the architect, etc.
I'm also updating the cast list with a "Side Cast" list. there are the people who will appear in the comic from time to time but are not part of the main cast of 10. Such characters can include store keepers, airpirates, etc. If you want to be there instead of on the main cast, please specify. Also please note if you don't end up there it dose NOT mean you will never appear on the comic. I'm just getting it organized for now so we don't forget anyone. Also - do not be upset if you apply for the cast and you get put in as a side character. If you want nothing less then a main character then please say so. Then the answer will be either yes or no. With your help we can make this something greatSince its pretty chaotic right now and we don't even know what kind of comic it will be, I'm stepping to to help orchestrate it. I am also adding a temporary poll to help decide what kind of comic it should be. PLEASE vote on it. it will be open for a week (7 days)heres a breakdown of how it will work. you apply here or in the main topic to be on the crew or cast. State why you think you should be and I'll slowly begin to pick people. Also I'd like 1 or 2 other people to help and be overseers so its more fair. Here are what each job dose. [full]-The overseers are the group of people who decide who gets what job whal this list is being filled. nothing more. After it is done they become part of the cast or crew.[full]-Directors are the guys who pick through suggestions given by the guild and build a plot and story. They decide whats going to happen next in the story and basically steer the comic. Directors should be people with good management skills and a good imagination. They should also be able to work off each other and the suggestions given by the guild.[full]-The script writers do just as the name implies, they wright scripts based on plots that the directors give them and work together to make it awesome. Script Writers should be creative writers who are able to work off of basic instructions and themes given by the directors. They should also be good at writing, spelling and grammar (guess that eliminates me XD)-Artists are the people who bring the story to life. Working with what the directors and script writers give them they create the visuals of the story. Depending on how we end up doing it they could each have a job such as backgrounds, line art and coloring. Or making the sprites, etc. (I'll leave it up to them). Artists should be skilled in...well...art. Despite what comic type we end up doing, they should be able to draw and color very well. if we end up doing a sprite they should be able to make backgrounds and manipulate the sprite pixels. -The cast are the people who appear on the comic. They are the focus of the comic and the main characters. Some side characters and cameos can and probly will appear later on but there will be a "main" cast. Cast members should be colorful and unique people who would make interesting characters for a story. They should also be able to take some self-mocking humor, because there is bound to me some. Please note that you don't NEED to use your real avi, personality or name. You can apply as a roleplay character, but only ONE character from each of you will be used. So you need to choose between your real self and your RP char. You can apply both but only one will get used. -The Side Cast are the shopkeepers, airpirates, randomly seen background characters and so forth in the story. They are not main characters but they are several steps up from being "extras". The side cast characters will appear here and there from time to time and replace "made up" extra characters. On rare occasions in the future, a side character MAY become a main character. If you specifically want to be a side character (like if you think your character is not active or adventurous enough to be a main character) please specify you want to be on the side cast. I'll take a cast slot as a salvage pilot for hire: Jad 'Madwing' Skyseeker, relatively unknown treasure-seeker of the skies and appreciator of music! I'd also like to be a director. I LOVE to plot things... also, if I had to have a theme, Allfactory is it. I'm also good at writing scripts. If you wish for a freehand sample of my work, My novel in progress, Cold Solder.

I would happily help with Direction. I'd do script or art as well but I have little time for it. Maybe a colorist, but not line work.

If it ever turns out that for some reason, the comic needs a librarian, then go ahead and put my character in. XD
She knows a fair bit about healing and gardening (specifically the medicinal uses of plants). She's never practised, as she just gets info from books, and the only garden she has is a small one at home.
However, don't put her in unless it's necessary as she'll be a very minor character. I'd much rather work on the colouring of the comic than actually be in it. (^_Q)
