Basically, meeting place of possible members for More Human Than Human - Anna's Pride. If you have a lion that would like to join, then you may post here and fill out the form later. Anyway, on the RP!

With a bit of a grunt, the female lunged down from a rocky perch, her paws landing hard on the ground below her. With a bit of a shake, she settled on her haunches, dark eyes studying the area. Halo and Mysti were close by, curled up on the perch...for now. When the lions came around, they would be fluttering about with interest.
That is IF any came around. Anna had been spreading the word about her new pride for those like her: those who used to be in the human realm and wound up here. Today was the day the meeting was to take place, and well...she hoped it went well. If not, there was always another day. She was tenacious when she wanted to be.

"Sissy!" Renee came bounding over to Ana with big bright eyes and a wide grin. Jasmine and Kay weren't to far off for they were making their way to their eldest as well. Malakye however, was quiet as usual making sure to stay by his mothers paws. "Why sissy look so serious?"
"Well, Ana is running her own pride and she's waiting for other lions to show up." Jasmine responded to her little ones question as she now settled to her haunches making sure not to crush her son who chose to stay close to her.
"Relax baby. They'll show up. If they don't then so what. You still go us and tons of days ahead of you."

"Are they nice?"
"Yes..."
"Have you met them all before?"
"Er...not all of them..."
"Are there gonna be little kids?"
"Duh."
"I'm not gonna get attacked am i?"
"Shut up for a bit, Henli!"
Brie and Henry made their way to where they were told the meeting was going to take place, Brie leading the way, Henry just behind, and beside her. Brie had insisted that they leave the Desert and go somewhere where there wasn't a threat of dying of heatstroke everyday, And Henry had no choice but to agree. The sight of the group caused Brie to slow down a bit to walk side-by-side with her friend. Henry nudged her her shoulder reassuringly.
"Hey~kiddoes!" Brie called. She knew Anna from a few past encounters, but the others were strangers to her...for the moment. Henry just smiled and stayed quiet. Usually better to let Brie talk.

"Will you HURRY UP Silver?! Christmas! Its a pride, not jail!"
"...It might as well be jail. Its...an institution."
Caitlin gave an exasperated sigh, swatting Silver on the shoulder. "You should be intitualized! Your the one that wanted to find somewhere to settle down."
Silver snorted, wandering behind her best friend."I ment like a cave, or...a watering hole. Hell, we coulda stayed with Misa. "
"Its too late now b***h, I see them. Behave yourself, there are childern."
"...Childern? This place just keeps getting better and better! Whats next? We're going to frolic through the roses?! I can't wait!"
Cailtin rolled her eyes, smiling when she came up to the group. "Hello there!"

Flicking her ears, she heard voices...and felt a sudden pounce. Looking down, she grinned over at her little sister. Flicking her tail, she nuzzled the cub and was about to answer the question when her mother came in to the rescue. With a half-smile, she stood. "Hey guys. Yeah I know...if things don't work, then I always got family." Halo and Mysti fluttered downward to sniff at the cubs and their parents, ears back then up again, tails constnatly waving in excitement.
Anna was about to make small talk when she heard voices. Looking over her shoulder, she saw the slow growing masses of lions that came toward her. Noticing a familiar face, she called over to Brie. "Hey! Nice to see you." Anna stood up giving a nod before she came forward. As the lions came within distance, she yelled greetings to the four. "Welcome one and all. Please, make yourself comfortable." Anna nodded to them. "We'll wait a few moments before starting this up. That work?" Anna turned to the group, her mice scuttling about from group to group.

A figure wound his way amongst the rocks, silently working his way from one to the next. Even when he finally hit solid earth, hardly even a sound, bar maybe his sai tapping lightly against his shell. Raphael allowed himself a faint smirk as he sat down, his featherless tail coiling around his paws. "Yo." He took a quick glance around the growing crowd, assessing the situation.
It was about what he'd expected. A bunch of lions that would've stood out among 'normal' lions, yeah - but he could easily picture how they must have looked before they sprouted the fur. Their humanity shone through like a beacon. Heh. Just his luck that he'd be the freak among the freaks, right? Whatever. It was nothing new. Guess it didn't really make a whole hell of a lot of difference here anyway. They were in the same boat for now.

"Nice ta see you too!" Brie grinned before plopping down. "Hope y'all don't mind i brought my boytoy along-"
"Your -WHAT-?" Henry interrupted, plopping down beside her, his tail twitching.
"Boytoy. Now be quiet for a bit, kay?" Brie giggled before licking his nose lightly and turning to the lion...with...a shell. "...Well hey there, Mister! Come to join this pizza party too?"
"...boytoy?" Henry repeated before shaking his head and looking at the mice that scurried about. Alright so he had a thing for cute things and he couldn't help smiling.

Her eyes roamed the group that came to be. Only another showed up, a turtle it seemed to be, and gave a bit of an inward sigh. Ok, not as big as a turn out she wanted, but at least there were some.
With a clear of her throat, she let her voice ring over the crowd. "Well, hello everyone. My name is Anna, but you can call me Ryuu. I've called everyone here to ask...would you like to have a group or a homestead to call base? I ask because well...in all honesty, I don't know how I got here, and I'm not sure if you guys do. So...we should stick together and learn to be in this new world so that we may call it home."
Anna gave a sure nod of herself, the mouse scuttling about before coming to rest at her feet grooming their paws or each other's ears. The female gave a bit of a shrug. "So...any questions or suggestions for me? I'm open to everything and anything. I also want those who wish to join me to feel at home...and no obligation to stay if they find a better place to be...but I do ask for loyalty once you carve into stone that you want to be within the pride."

A giggle presented itself before little Renee spoke. "Sissy, your silly. Everyone knows how they got here. Even I know. A hornbill visited their mama's and papa's and gave them to their parents." An innocent grin was stretched far across her face and she was about to go into detail about how the mama's and papa's had to place their orders for getting a baby when she noticed the turtle like lion. Her interest completely shifted.
"Wow!"
Quickly she waddled over to him and when close enough she sat on her haunches and looked up at him in awe. "You look cool! Whats your name?"

Molly had been lurking about for a while, still not finding enough courage to go up and meet them. They could end up being completely mean or they could be completely nice...or some of them could be mean and some of them could be nice, but the nice ones already knew the mean ones so they were shifted! Molly found herself giggling at her own silly worries and allowed herself to slowly but surely creep out from her hiding place.
After all...Raph was here, surprising as that was, and surely he would keep her company. With that encouragment in mind, she bounded forward towards the others.

Renee turned her attention from Raph and gave the new arrival a big smile. "Hi pretty lady! My name is Renee! Whats your name? Did you know that my sissy is running this pride? She's awesome and really really nice. I think your pretty. We can be friends. Doesn't that sound fun?" She was going a mile a minute and only seemed to stop when she had run out of breath.

Silver gave a shrug, nodding to Ryuu. "Sure, why the hell not? Sounds like a plan to me."
Caitlin smiled brightly to the gathering, nodding excitly. "Of course! Ignore Silver, she's just being grumpy. We're both in, Anna."

Anna couldn't help but smile at her kid-sister. God she was going to be something when she was older. Stretching a little, she gave a grin and nodded to the newcomer. "Hey. Nice to see you. Name's Anna but you can call me Ryuu. Not sure if you heard that part."
Giving a bit of a nod, she then looked around. Everyone seemed ok with the idea. "So...lesse...oh! Pride positions..." The female cleared her throat a little. "Well I don't really like the term "King" and "Queen"...way too strict, and most of the time Kings and Queens were figureheads. So, as leader of this group, I'm dubbing myself "Contessa". So, if Ryuu isn't your style, you can call me "Contessa" if you wish. Ahh....the co-leader will be called "Consort", and since I like this word better, my Advisor will be my "Counselor", which I've already reserved for my mother, if she chooses to accept that position." Anna looked sheepishly over at Jasmine before she continued. "Anyway, the shaman will be called "Doc", and the War Leader will be titled a "Czar". "Top Gun" is the lead huntress and the den mother is called a "Lady". Warriors are the "Regiment", huntresses are "Chasers", den sisters are "Maidens", and a scout is called a "Vanguard". Then regular ranking members are "Apostles". I didn't want to give them boring titles..." Anna paused for a moment waiting for everything to catch up. "Then, the last bit is "Trainee", where a teen who wants to become a Vanguard, or a Doc, or y'know one of those positions, they have to go through basic training." She then gave a little look at Renee. "And last but not least are the "Little Ones", or cubs and toddlers of the group." Anna licked at her sister's cheek before raising her head. "Oh, and I almost forgot, the "Daemon", or..." Anna nosed over to Mysti and Halo who seemed to be contently sleeping in a little bundle. "My mice...or others who have mice around. I've seen some with birds too, but you get the idea.
"I know that's a lot to take in, but do you guys have a grasp of it? You need me to explain anything? I'll also take those who want to sign up for a title if you guys want...that way if the rest of you are serious about this group, you can have it, and not have to worry about it being taken..."

Raph peered down at the tiny cub out of the corner of his mask, quirking an invisible brow. 'Cool', huh? Right. His lips quirked in a tiny smirk. Like he was going to deny how awesome he was. Figured the kid would be the one to notice. "Raphael, " he answered simply, even if her attention had already been drawn away.'
By her. He looked to Molly as she finally appeared. A smile flashed across his lips unbidden. He quickly willed it away, scowling determinedly and looking away. Hmph. Odds were nobody had noticed it anyway. He'd go greet her later.
The turtle-turned-mutant-turned-lion half listened to Anna's spiel about the pride and its positions. "I don't give a damn what you want to call me, Ryuu," he piped in once she'd finished, smirking lightly again. "Regiment, warrior, whatever; fighting's what I'm good at." Out of place as he was, even amongst them, that alone said enough; he'd be sticking around. Probably. That was enough, right?
