It was a bright, pleasant Saturday afternoon, and Lucas was busy trying to shop for baby food and clothes without looking suspicious. He'd hit several stores already, and alongside Ivy was lugging a bag full of pureed baby food and a few dresses and such he had been assured by well-meaning salespeople were "adorable".
Personally, he was sure Ivy would spit up on them on purpose at the first opportunity.
Ivy was in a good mood for once, gumming on her pacifier and laying unprotesting in her baby carrier. The warm spring air was a delight after being cooped up in Lucas' room for several days, and she was enjoying the sunlight and warmth immensely.
