My husband showed me this, and all you really need are receipts, 2 binder rings, some card board and a pen to punch a hole with.

He's made one, i probably will too - since i am a sucker for post it notes and note pads ^^

that's a really nifty idea. I have a habit of hording receipts and then throwing them away, but now I guess I can do something useful with them.

Just thinkin' here... a lot of receipts I've seen are printed on slick paper that aren't very easy to write on. confused

Good point, but usually a pen will still write on most waxy receipts.
The store i worked at had those and you just have to use a pen.

I find that the paper wrappings from Lipton tea bags make good note paper.
