History: The oldest son of of a major railroad conglomerate owner, Toshiro always felt like he had to do the best for his family's business - every thought, every word, every action was on how to best serve the company that was his inheritance. His whole life was based on what he thought his family would like, his parents even picked his future wife and he settled into this knowledge amicably.
That is, until the day when he his father called him in to discuss his eventual takeover of the business and how he wasn't doing enough at the school. The pushing lead Toshiro to take on a much heavier class load than he'd already had - and it was huge, as Toshiro needed challenges because of his genius- leading to a nervous breakdown. This breakdown took the form of his not leaving his apartment for several weeks - making him a hikikomori.
After that, he left only under forced circumstances - tests, groceries, etc. His grades didn't suffer because of it as he's what some would call a certifiable genius.
Personality: Cold, distant, and an overall jerk Toshiro is not the ideal son. He spends several weeks straight in his apartment without leaving playing video games, reading huge novels, watching horror/ sci-fi movies and anime.

Nor did Toshiro know that he'd even ordered a Milkis. Personality: Milkis is the quiet type who won't say anything unless he absolutely thinks it's necessary. History: Dogmeat came into Toshiro's care about the same time that Milkis did, but Toshiro didn't know about him until a few days later when he heard a tiny voice calling out for attention. Soon after he found Dogmeat, Toshiro wished he hadn't.
Personality: A total and complete blabbermouth who doesn't know when it's best to leave Toshiro alone. He loves to play and adores attention.

Milkis (Hangul:밀키스) is a soft drink produced by Lotte Chilsung, a Korean beverage company. It combines many of the common elements of traditional carbonated beverages such as corn syrup, sugar, and carbonated water with milk to create a creamy taste; its label proclaims "New feeling of soda beverage". In Russia, Milkis is available in orange, strawberry, mango, muskmelon and classic (regular) flavors. It was a highly popular drink in the early 1990s. Friends, Enemies or Frenmies
The Relationship between the Nishimuras & the Uzamakis:
The friendship between the Nishimura family and the Uzamaki family did not start with Atsuko and Toshiro. Quite the contrary. The relationship between the two families came from Nadeshiko and Aiko, Toshiro's mother. The two had been friends in high school, having met in the calligraphy club. After high school, the two girls parted ways - Aiko went and got married, and Nadeshiko went off to college. It was only after Nadeshiko finished school and got married herself that the two friends reunited. Aiko had a plan in mind for her friend upon their next meeting: their children would marry one another in an arranged marriage. Since then, the two families have been tied to one another. Both feel it is a good match - though whether it is true or not...only time will tell. - Mriae

Family Quarrels
Father: Uzamaki Koshi is not the loving type, in fact he has never felt love for anything but his company. He was much older than Aiko when they fulfilled their marriage contract their families had written out when she was first born and he already fifteen. He pressures his oldest son far too much, and thinks that Toshiro's unworthy of his heritage. He cheats on his wife regularly, and is rarely home.
Mother: Uzamaki Aiko married Koshi when she graduated high school, forced from her dreams of having a career in the printing industry. Aiko was far too meek to go against her family or fiance's wishes, and so turned to a life without love or anything to look forward to. That is, until her best friend, Nadeshiko, graduated. The two continued their carefree relationship they'd shared when they were in high school, with the addition of the arranged marriage between their children. She cares deeply for her sons, and feels a close bond to Toshiro. She once thought of running away from Koshi to live with her high school sweetheart.
Brother: Koshi's favorite, Jiro is spoiled and a jerk. He doesn't really talk to his brother at all, thinking that it's shameful for him to be a hikikomori. He is the younger of the two twins.

Home Sweet Apartment
A large apartment, Toshiro actually keeps it clean as he hates a mess. He has a large plasma TV and every game system on the market as well as a room with its walls completely covered with bookshelves full of books and DVDs - most of the movies are horror related but his book taste is that of the classics.
