The door read Thanatos Squad Seven, Vice-Captain. In the room was a large oak desk, with a few empty cabinets, save for some files Thanatos saved from the previous Vice-captain Yamoto. The room was cleaned to perfection, and a few new tatami mats were in the north east corner. Thanatos kept a sword rack on his desk, and had a few design sketches and ideas for new attacks scattered upon it.

Thanatos entered the office and looked around. The room was as he had dreamed back in his academy days. Thanatos walked over to the tatami mats and started to brew some tea.

Sho shunpo's to the building and enters walking past the guard with a wave. Heading down to the VC's door Sho walks up and with a smile, knocks ....

Thanatos gets to his feet quickly, carrying a cup of tea in one hand, while drinking a cup with his other. Thanatos walks towards the door and knocks back. Turning around and returning to his mats he said "Come in." Thanatos sits back down and sets the second cup down and pours himself some more. "Hello Sho. Come, have some tea." Thanatos changed a little in the past three years. He now wore white robes, had an intricate blue tatoo all over his body, and his skin was quite white. But his eyes still burned orange. It looked like he dunked his hands up to the elbows in black ink, as they were completely black.

Sho walks in and bows. He then says, "Thanatos-San, it is an honor to share tea with you." Sho grabs a seat and says, "A little butterfly told me that you just became the new Vice Captain of the 7th and I just had to stop by and give you my congrats. So, you look good my friend. A little different but, you look good. Mother time has blessed you."
Sho takes a sip of the tea and then said, "How's Yamoto? I have to ask my friend. It was hard for me to watch you two fight. Yamoto helped me earn my Shikai and you helped me keep my feet on the ground. I haven't seen or heard from him in many years. Any news on him?"
"These last three years have been good to me too my friend. I'm 3rd Seat of 10th Squad, I have earned Shunpo, and mastered another Shikai move. I am becoming one with my element too. So you can say that we both have been blessed." Sho takes another sip of tea and then says, "So, tell me my friend ... whats the latest news?"

"Ah, the thing about Yamoto is that... it seems that he has passed on." Thanatos took a deep sip of his tea and opened his eyes slowly. "He was my teacher back in my early days, and I will forever remember him." Thanatos set the tea down and stood to his feet. "Follow me Sho. I fear for this squad, and every squad's safety. I'm going to be training my entire squad, and anyone else that feels like joining in, until Bullene is found, or finds his way back to us." Thanatos gripped his hilt and looked at Sho. "You do look like you've grown stronger over these three years. But, I have done alot in that time span too." Thanatos kicked open the door and walked to the sparring area.

Kozu sighed as he walked up and knocked on the Vice Captain's office. As the newest member of the squad Kozu figured he might as well meet one of the highest officer's in his squad. Kozu sighed as he put his hands in his pockets. He stood out amongst every other shinigami considering Kozu was wearing brown dress pants with loafers and a white collared shirt with a red silk vest over it. Kozu smiled as he ran his fingers through his brown hair waiting for someone to answer

Thanatos opened the door and looked at the young man standing before him. "Yes? How can I help you?" Thanatos looked at the boy puzzled. "Are you here to try and join? I haven't seen an application from you yet..." Thanatos stared at the boy for a few seconds, then turned around and walked back to his desk, flipping through the papers he had been handed a few days before. "No. No application here, So how may I help you?"

Kozu nodded, "Yes I'm here to join. I apologize I wasn't quite sure on were to find it" Kozu said looking at Thanatos as he put both hands behind his back. "I figure if I came here you could tell me" Kozu said looking at him intently waiting for his response.

Zinnia took a few steps into the office, and she blinked a few times before she said aloud, "Um... I am wanting to join this squad...." Zinnia said, since her mind was made up.

Zinnia dropped a letter onto the Vice Captain's desk, the letter bearing a simple question. "Whenever you can, I would like to be put on the list for training."

Tso walks up to the main gates of 7th Squads area and is stopped by the front guards. He say's, "Greetings. My name is Tso-San and I have orders to report to the 7th Squad today. I have just completed the academy and have been assigned to the 7th." The guard looks over the papers and then looks Tso up and down before laughing. Looking at Tso the guard says, "Your a small one ... are you sure you are in the right place little one? This is the 7th Squad. We are fighters ... killers .... and your so .... small." Tso's blood begins to boil and he says, "You can read right? The orders say report to the 7th Squad and that's what I'm doing. You have a problem with that?" The guard smiles and says, "Ok, as you wish. Open the front gates and let the little guy in. You need to report to the Vice Captains office. Just follow the path and you'll run into the headquarters building.....oh, and good luck. Your gonna need it!"
Tso gives the guard an evil look and makes a mental note to come back and kick his a** one of these days. Tso grabs his bag from the ground and makes his way down the winding path to the headquarters building.
Walking up the stairs Tso takes a deep breath and enters the building. Looking around he see's the door marked Vice Captains office. Tso drops his bag and knocks on the door and waits for a reply .....
