The boys were all playing in the den safe and sound, the sting of her kidnapped son was still there like a small tear in her heart. Still on such a beautiful day she tried to push painful memories away. She smiled and slipped from the den eager to have some time alone with her...well with Mafunde. She had never really committed to him, though in her heart she knew she wouldn't leave while her children were still young. She loved her family, she loved Mafu.
Her bright green eyes scanned over the flat lands and her legs thrummed with energy. Still she controlled herself and sat down glancing over her shoulder and around. Today she didn't want to run alone.

Mafu trotted up to the den to see Hana, Mafu had been out looking for any sign of his 'brother' (though he was no brother of his) and their son. Once again he came back with an empty maw. There was still no sign of their lost cub.
"Hana, darling... Are you alright?" He asked as he trotted up to her and placed his paw on top of hers, gazing into her brilliant green eyes. He always found himself lost in her eyes. He never imagined that he would fall so hard for someone. But the truth was, Hana held his heart in her paws, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

Kohana watched as Mafu and approached and her heart constricted, she knew what he had been out after. Time passed, the sun and moon rose and fell each day, yet still their son was in the paws of Mafunde's wicked brother, a cheetah they had never even met. She hoped that somehow her baby boy was okay, perhaps he had escaped and was being raised kindly. She could only hope, though she doubted Pich was a baby any longer, after all her other boys were steadily growing and he would be no different.
"I'm...just feeling strange Mafu...I missed you." She looked down shyly feeling foolish. How strange it was that she who had always run wild and free should now feel her heart tied to this one male. Still the thought that when the cubs were grown she might attempt to move on made her heart ache. It demanded that she remain with Mafu, her legs begged her to continue her wild roaming. It was all so confusing, yet curled up in their den with their boys she felt...at home.
