There were two things Ekevu had learned in his time out on his own: children were apparently not to be raised by both parents and sex was a LOT of fun. He picked both these lessons up pretty much hand-in-hand, as one really didn’t exist without the other. Of course, for a while he hadn’t even known that one BROUGHT the other at all- he hadn’t known how babies came into the world. What a great way to learn how it all happened! Experience. That was the way to go.
Though he didn’t really understand why he wasn’t fathering any of the puppies he had helped produce. He had a father and a mother… when had the rules changed? Maybe you had to be in love to be parents.
His young mind was more interested in making love than being in love.
Sitting out in the open, watching some rabbits and debating a meal, Ekevu pondered these new lessons as well- his mind racing through various thoughts, scattered and incomplete. Maybe he was doing something wrong in enjoying himself so much. Would it get him in trouble?

The lilac and purple wild dog stalked her prey quietly, watching the little fluffy bunnies hop around always drove her nuts,s he wasn't really that hungry but she liked the way the turned her coat red and the little cries from them as they died.
Just as she was about to pounce though, her eyes settle on another wild dog, tilting her head her brow creased as she sat upright. she had never seen him before. She sat bolt upright scaring a few of the closer rabbits in to a bolt.
Rolling her eyes she cursed herself under her breath before she padded straight towards the male wild dog without a moments hesitation. "who are you?" She snipped her head high, she almost looked down her nose at him, which was sort of hard she wasn't a very big wild dog. "I've never seen you before."

Ekevu, jolted from his thoughts, looked in alarm at the wild dog suddenly in front of him. He really needed to learn to pay better attention to things going on around him, that was for sure. Swallowing a knot in his throat, the small wild dog slowly got to his feet, bowing his head slightly in greeting towards the female.
“My name is Ekevu,” he replied after a moment, remembering that she had actually asked him to introduce himself. For a moment his startled state had blocked out her words, just leaving him confused.
“I’m sorry, I guess I didn’t see you approach. What’s your name?” It was getting easier to speak to others, he found, which was dandy because he had really had trouble not too long after striking out on his own.
