Lila wasn't to sure where Huni's den was, but she knew everyone went to the beach at some point during the day. She dart off toward the beach, looking occasionally to make sure Maha was with her. Her small paw padded across the ground making a soft patter, until she reached the sand where her running kicked sand up everywhere.
Lila stopped suddenly looking around. She quickly placed the stones in the sand and looked up again. She looked to Maha, "Do you see him Maha?"
Lila hadn't met the wilddog in person, not yet, but she'd seen him and passing. After all she'd most people that way. Everyone one in the pride was seemed extremely proud of all the cubs around.
"Huni," she called, "come out, come out, where ever you are."

Maha followed suit after Lila. She had no idea where to look for Huni, but it seemed like her friend did. When they reached the beach it suddenly became perfectly logical to Maha that they would search here. She stopped next to Lila and took a quick look around.
"No. I didn't see anyone." She made a few steps forward, going further into the beach. She couldn't see anyone from here either. "Huuuniiii!" She called as she turned and went over to Lila again.
"I guess we'll just have to wait." The spotted cub said when she reached her friend.

Lila sighed lightly and nodded to Maha, "I guess so."
Lila sat in the sand moving her toes about and feeling the sand move around between them. She giggle slightly, fore it tickled her skin. She stamped her paws lightly making a print in the sand.
Lila looked to Maha, her grin still in place. "Why don't we play while she wait, huh? I'm sure Huni will show up eventually and when he does we will be waiting for him right?"
Lila stood stretching out her front leg and the opposite back leg to shake them free of sand. She laughed slightly as an idea came to her and she began to walk forward stretching her legs like she wanted to shake them free of sand. She stamped her paws down trying to make a string of prints as she went foward.

Maha watched with fascination as Lila played her game and mimicked her movements. A grin soon settled on her face as she shuffled with her toes in the sand. This was interesting!
Hearing Lila speak, she looked up at her. "I'm game!" She didn't like sitting around and waiting at all. "What are we gunna play?" She asked just as the other cub started making tracks in the sand. Maha grinned, deciding this was a nice game too and started making a line of tracks alongside Lila's but far enough so they could tell which tracks were which. She laughed loudly, a child's laughter, as clear as a bell and full of pure happiness.
