Peronality: To put it shortly, she's a cold and distant most of the time. She doesn't socialize if it isn't needed, and doesn't show much emotion in battle. She goes strictly by the rules, often not improvising new ideas and moves unless they are tested out beforehand. Lizzie doesn't take senseless risks and firmly believes that practice makes perfect.
In truth, she's probably afraid to try new things most of the time. If someone can get past her shell, she is a really caring person, to her Pokemon and friends.
Background: Born to the greatest two-on-two battle couple, Pokemon was in her blood. Because of her parent's prowress and popularity, she was under constant pressure to be the best. Thus, during her childhood, she studied Pokemon and their stats, as well as battling techniques and moves. Sacrificing friends and a social life, this past made her the disciplined and emotionless teen she is today.
As it was with every trainer growing up, she makes a journey around the world. She has visited many regions, collecting badges, Pokemon, and knowledge. Just before she came to Zatao, she left her Pokemon at home, discovering that the battle system in that region was vastly different than the other regions and they would be happier fighting the way they were trained.
She hopes to catch a native Zatao Pokemon, to maximize her potential in this new and somewhat terrifying land.

Dislikes: Surprises, improvisation, sudden changes, blindness, ignorance, n00bs
Additional notes: She is more used to the traditional fighting system of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, etc. So adjusting here would be slightly difficult to her.

Personality: Kestrel likes to annoy people, much to Lizzie's irritation. Being half-Altaria, he can make noises that sound like Swablus and often pretends that he is one just to see people's reactions. He also pulls other pranks like stealing people's shiny things and messing up their hair.
But really, he's a friendly soul and doesn't mind friends. He has a competitive spirit and likes to fight and argue rather than solve things through talking or admit that he is wrong.
Background: Piney did notice when Era and Aero had chicks, and she couldn't keep an eye on Kestrel while being a police officer. So she loaned him to Lizzie, knowing that she'll take care of him well. He still meets up with his parents and sister, since sometimes Lizzie forgets to lock the windows at night.
Likes: Spicy food, pulling pranks, his family, fighting, other people's astonished faces, shiny things
Dislikes: Sweet foods, other bird Pokemon, losing...

Personality: She's quiet and a bit shy, but friendly once you get to know her. She is fiercely loyal to Lizzie and would do anything to protect her. She also loves battling, and would gladly go through any amount of training or do anything to win. She doesn't care about looks or beauty, contrary to her being a Milotic.
Background: Millie was a Feebas born on a farm that raised Pokemon specially for contest. She wasn't exceptionally beautiful and had an unquenchable battling spirit that coordinators didn't find appealing. Lizzie's parents bought her and gave her to Lizzie as her second Pokemon, which she smothered in love (she was young when she got her.) Now she felt like she had someone that loved her for who she was, and that plus many dry Poffins led to her evolution.
Before Lizzie left her behind in Sinnoh, she gave her a pendant containing Mystic Water, to boost her power and to remind her of their bond. Millie still didn't like life without Lizzie though, and caused enough trouble to be shipped to Zatao without her trainer's knowledge. Lizzie didn't mind anyway and gladly accepted her to the team.

Personality: Cruel, vicious, and aggressive are probably the three words to describe Ozai. He hates pretty much everyone except those that are worthy of his respect, which is usually someone stronger than him. Fortunetly, Lizzie is one of them, though her Pokemon aren't.
He does have the tendency to attack anyone on site, mostly when he's hungry. It's hard to get close to him without getting burned or mauled, unless again, you prove yourself to him. Even if you do get to be friends with him, which is unlikely, he doesn't treat you much better. He does not give compliments or friendly words easily, though he doesn't try and kill you. That's a start.
Background: Ozai led a pack of Houndours and Houndoom, being the only one exposed to the radiation of a Dusk Stone, since they were hard to find in the wild. He managed to evade capture by the influx of trainers coming in, wanting this new Pokemon of their own. Only, Lizzie was smart and patient enough to catch him.
He's still resentful of being a domesticated Pokemon, and resists everything she does to try and tame him.
