Stretching her oddly coloured body on the Savannah ground, Hara was grinning, clearly pleased. The sun was blazing high in the sky causing small beads of sweat to form around her shoulders and ears.
Purring she cautiously began to clean herself, trying to be as graceful as possible for a lioness cleaning herself in the heat of the morning Savannah sun.

Zeus yawned and stretched where he lay sprawled on his side, bits of grass and dust sticking to his orange stripped body and white-flecked black mane. Orange eyes blinked open and closed again as he groaned rather happily, enjoying how loose and relaxed his big body felt. A good night's sleep did that, he liked to think. What had happened before had just gotten him to sleep that much faster.
The thought made him crack one eye open and look around, catching sight of his current lovely companion laying nearby. Haramu was a lovely lioness... but it was still to be seen how graciously she took to his rogue life style. He really had no intention of sticking around, especially now that he'd gotten what he wanted. How she reacted to him leaving would determine how he remembered her, and he always wanted to remember his trysts as a good thing.
"Good morning." He rumbled, his tail gently flicking.

Rubbing the left side of her muzzle in the ground, as if to scratch an irritating itch, Hara let many thoughts roll over her. As much as she enjoyed the particular lion. She didn't feel the urge to stay with him. A pebble flowing in the river, on it's way to some lake or other. But he wasn't her lake, and she wasn't his pebble. Lifting her face from the dirt she purred, wondering how long he would linger before leaving. Her eyes took in each inch of his body, etching it into her memory.
"A good morning indeed, if I do say so myself..." Her grin seemed as if it was a poster plastered across her face with poster paint.

Did he detect a hint of coolness to the brightly marked lioness this morning? Well, that was to the good, though it prickled his male pride that she should so easily dismiss him. It was supposed to be the other way around, after all.
He let the back of a broad paw brush along her back as he slid an ingratiating smile onto his face and stepped over her to walk to their shade tree. It made a nice place to scratch along his back, after sleeping in the dirt and grass all night.
"I trust you slept well, my dear. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I caused you any discomfort on my behalf." Maybe he could catch her a little something to eat before he went, try and sweeten her mood a little. It was a quirk of his nature that the females that didn't want him were the ones chased the hardest, while willing ladies were used and left behind as he sought newer pastures. It was a lucky female that was able to walk away from it with little more than a pleasant memory and no emotions attached. He certainly didn't deserve to have a female pining after him when he'd gone.

She smiled gently at his remark, having finished taking in his image and storing it in her memory, hoping that the day would end and they would part with her being able to think fondly of the time they had spent together, though that time would soon end. It was odd that she felt so indifferent to him, what with the beautiful markings and suave personality, and charming words. Yet she cared little for what had occurred between them; not that she hadn't enjoyed it of course. Stretching out and then lifting herself to a sitting position, Hara's eyes bore into the lion, as if trying to see into his very soul. "Not at all dear Zeus. In fact I feel like I could run for a few miles and not break a sweat."

"That's fantastic!" Zeus chuckled, putting on a brave smile. He was just not used to females that didn't fawn on him after a night by his side. He was also a little unnerved by her intent stare, widening his smile to hide it.
"I suppose we should get something to eat then... keep up our strength. A drink wouldn't be amiss either, I think. Would you... care for me to escort you for a bit? Or has my company become irksome?" He chuckled as he joked at himself. He flicked his tail as he settled back to sit, waiting for when she would rise, or tell him to just bugger off.
He didn't know what he'd do if that's actually what she did... probably go sulk somewhere, till he could find some pretty little thing to console him and bolster his confidence again.

Hara purred, pressing her lips together. She figured that she mgiht as well go hunting with him, it would make it easier, but she was eager to keep moving through the Savannah. But she did need food. A few moments later, she grinned at him. "Alright, let us find a place to get some water, then we shall hunt, what are you in the mood for?"

Zeus's smile eased into something more genuine as he relaxed, some of his damaged pride soothed by the agreement to find water. Rising, he bowed low, his mane ruffling around his head.
"This way then, Lady. I believe I scented water over this way yesterday. We'll see if my memory isn't faulty, eh?" He put on what he hoped was a cheerful smile, waving a paw in the direct he spoke of. Only when she'd risen did he step out to lead, acting the gentleman now for her.
It was odd, a change from his previous manner, but he wasn't conscious of the change. Perhaps, once conquered, there was no challenge left to keep him interested....? Maybe.

Hara followed Zeus, trusting that he really had scented some water out, and hoping so as well. Her mouth was becoming dry, which didn't settle well with her. "I certainly hope it's not, but I have faith in you." She smirked, bowing her head, adding onto her sentence in a low mutter," I think." Zeus was a very lovely lion, but he just seemed flighty to her and she was looking to head to the marshlands, hoping to settle there.

It didn't take the big lion long to find the water and even less to drink his fill before settling back, shaking his head to clear the water from his mouth.
"I suppose, Lady, this will be where we end company and go our separate ways. I'm sure you're eager to get where you are going, and I know I shouldn't take up so much of your time." He turned a warm smile on her, trying to smooth over their parting. He was thinking she'd be rather glad for it, with the way she was acting, and he knew he'd be more comfortable that way.

Nodding to what the dashingly coloured lion had said Hara smiled, glad that he wanted to part ways, not because she didn't like him, but because, he just wasn't someone she felt like being around at all times. "I think you're right, and I do have a lot of traveling to do, though I should hope that both of our paths are safe ones. It was good to meet you." She bowed her head low, then took a long drink from the water before stretching out her body preparing to take her leave. Hara looked back at Zeus one more time, smiling, finally going her own way.
