"In love!?...Oh to hell with it, I deny nothing. She's kind, beautiful, smart, insightful, caring, and more then any mortal could understand. Because of her and Master Caleb, I no longer have this divine urge to tear the hearts from humans and devour them, thus relieving them of their countless sins. Now...I have...tolerance, I believe. Love is a far different emotion when used in reference to Angels, though this feeling for her is...not the same. It's confusing, but it's obviously some stem of love. Now that my personal emotions have been revealed I'm sure we can carry on with the task at hand, yes?" If there was any embarrassment to be shown on his face, his top pair of wings his it though a few golden feathers would fall to the ground now. Even to him that was new...he hadn't seen feathers like that since...the Morning Star. Since Lucifer, his close friend, set in motion the rebellion for the Angels. When Lucifer allowed emotion to overtake him, his wings became gold, full of vibrancy and color to reflect his newly acquired inner fire. Of course the story tells of him being robbed of his wings, though he never lost them...only their color. Lucifer's hatred mutated his wings into those demonic icons...mutating him. He'd lower himself to collect one of the golden feathers and create a string for it, now wearing it around his neck as a symbol of his friendship. When Lucifer brown-nosed alongside his brother Michael, he was forced to sit out. But it was not Michael he confided in...it was Zadkiel. It was Setsumei. When Lucifer rebelled, Zadkiel remained an inside agent for Lucifer. Sure their plan went to Hell quite literally, but he never once gave up on his best friend...nor did his hatred of Michael ever cease.
Once his stroll down memory lane came to an end, he'd find the obnoxious girl...being less obnoxious. He'd make a mental note that some individuals were just...arrogant, if nothing else, and didn't have the "stupid filter" that allowed them to keep their mouths shut at the right time. When her image would change, Setsumei would move enough feathers to take a "mental snapshot" of the girl and send it to Caleb. "Is this the girl you care for, Master Caleb?"
Finally, his attention would fall upon Alex. His wings would all disappear and he'd gently fall to his feet, barely letting a tap echo as he landed. He'd smile warmly to her and nod. "I'll follow you and do what I can to ensure your mission is a success, as I promised someone else. But...if something should go wrong, I will take matters into my own hands. Ending Nexus is my ultimate goal, but I'm not above helping you to do it. Lead and I will follow."

In the deep of the distance a small house laid its shilouette. Naomi smiled she loved the walk to eve's and due to her recent incareration she hadnt been able to take it. Now nearing it she looked at Setsumei, why was it she was always cursed with an un-requested presence. Before all this it was David, then it was the roses, now its some angel... Could be worse she supposed. She looked over her body again with a smile and then went to work. She pulled a small vial out of backpak and threw in the rose petals from the garden. Now safe she put them back and pulled out a small wrist Visi-Screen. She did a look up of all the derricks in town and she was in luck, hers had just gotten a new town house in the inner city.
They were fifteen minutes for Eveilyns and she was getting to excited becaquse she knew eveilyn knew they were coming, she would probably ask where Omi had been for so long...
"Tell me something about Seth please Alex, what attracts you to a prude like that? I mean the Seth i saw in the garden was...i wouldnt say cocky or over confident but to... Self-assured. Even in their final moments a seperate entities he refused help from his own brother? " She remembered how he tried to fight without regard for his own safety almost like he himself we indestructible.

"It's a long complicated story between Seth and Micah." Alex said with a sigh. "Thank you for the help Setsumei, it's appreciated. "she smiled and followed Naomi, having to stop and take in the transformation in the girl. Strange things like this were starting to not phase her so much anymore. "As for what attracted me to Seth...well the fact he's the only person I've come across to make me feel completely, and yet strangely comfortably, vulnerable I would think."

Well I personally wasnever much for romance but I'm glad it's working itself out for you." she smiled earnestly as she pushed open the gateto Eveilyns small secluded house. She paused at the door not knocking instead only waiting. After what seemed to be to long she opened the door and saw that eve was not home. suddenly a MiadBot came out ofno where handing a note to naomi and then going back to her programmed chores.
"Dear Naomi and friends I have gone to weyard to protest the recent improsionment of a few special friends of mine. Not to worry it will turn into a riot shortly after it's begining and I'll be coming back. To help with a few things while I'm away; Naomi you may use my lab, Setsumei if you will go into the kitchen I picked up some of your favorite blessed liquid.." Nakmi stopped and looked at setsumei wondering what the hell Eveilyn liked about him. "and last but not least alex, I have so many things to tell you and I hope they will lift your spirits until he is home again."
"well that's unusual she doesn't leave me notes I just wait... I also never get blessed liquid." naomi noticed that on the back there was a section titled P.S
"Omi I love you but quit your bitching!" naomi furiously tore up the letter and walked into the other room containg Eves lab. Screaming nasty things as she went.o

Alex snickered at Omi's mini tantrum. This Eve person was interesting, and she was looking forward to meeting her. "At least she's hospitable. Wonder how that riot works out." she said aloud, following Omi into the house. The last part of the letter left her in good spirits, as it mention "him" and "home" all in one go.

He'd follow them for the time being though the moment his name was mentioned his three sets of wings would each fold behind his back and his feet would come to nimbly land upon the ground. He'd fold his arms and cant his head to the side, trying to think of anyone who knew by such a name. True be it the name Eve meant something to him, though to his knowledge that Eve had died off long, long ago and was currently residing in Hell for her betrayal.
He figured bothering the child for answers would be a waste of time, thus he'd merely made do for the time being and make his way into the kitchen, pouring himself a glass of iced holy water and begin sipping at it. Hopefully this woman could point him in the direction of Nexus. "This had best not be a waste of my time."

Alex moved and took a seat near a window. "You came on your own Setsumei. If it is a waste of time, you have no one to blame but yourself." She fiddled with the ring on her finger, humming to herself some old song from earth's 40's era.

The twisting of the door could be heard before she was. It opened and there stood a rather interesting person, 5'4 woman wit long silver air and green eyes fit all into/on her almond resemblance of a head and skin tone. She rushed throwing books and paper as she went, "Omi get your a** out here." she yelled with looking in any direction but approaching Alex. "Your taller in my head..." Then she looked at Setsumei. "Hello..." That seemed to be all she could find to say to him.
"Dont tell me where to put my rear." Omi popped her head out of the back room face dark with dirty circles around her eyes where googles had been. "Glad you decided to leave knowing i was coming." Naomi walked over to the couch and sat down looking at Alex, "Well this is Eve."
"Nice to meet you all now, down to business." Eveilyn always seemed to be busy, you'd think someone who knew what was coming would make better time. "Setsumei go turn on the T.V I believe you will get what you want there." She walked into the kitchen pulling out a pizza slice and nibbled lightly. "Alex come sit with me. And Naomi back in the lab."

Alex's humming stopped as she heard the knob turn. She watched teh door as the woman entered. Tossing books and papers. She almost asked how the protest/riot went before the odd woman started yelling at Naomi and then wondered about her height. "Really?" she asked, sounding amused.
She watched as Omi poked her head out, looking like she was busy doing something. A moment later she was being told to move closer to the Eve. "It's nice to meet you Eve." Alex said, moving to take a seat near the woman.

He'd hardly care when he heard the nob and instead continued to look out the window while drinking at his water every now and again. Alex had a point, and was completely correct in it. Her correction of him made him smile. When the books and papers began flying about he'd still find himself without care, though when he found himself out of water he'd twitch a bit and rush to refill his glass.
He'd look the woman over once she began speaking...yup, had no idea who she was. He'd shrug and once again fail to really care about the situation, though mention of what he wanted being on TV caught his attention. He'd snag the remote and look at it...like a 6-year old looking at an iPhone. He'd begin to press things, even once the TV had been turned on. In the end, his response was simple once he viewed the program. "What do strange yellow people in a cartoon have to do with anything I want?"

"First off i want to tell you all..." Naomi looked deep into Eveily's eyes because there they held a sadness. "I do not play goddess and it is not my job to save lives."
A loud click came as a news reporter came into view on the screen. " That speaker came here all the way from the coast to give her... Im sorry...What?" The sound of that reporters scream was indescribable but the figure wasn't, it was the beast form of Micah running rampant and breathing fire. There stood for a horrifying moment the charred corpse iof the reporter and several other protestors. Next came a man, a man some would know, some others wouldn't. His black and white hair was remenecent of Seths, cloths like Jonas, and the build of Micah; yes some would know this man. Eveilyn looked at Alex with bright eyes dotted with hope and filled with sadness. "Rose??" ROSE?!" The camera dropped and the camera man went staggering to the chared bodies, then his was consumed by the beast of Micah. Eveilyn stood and turned off the T.V.
"There is a girl... Setsumei please ignore this girl for now because those people need your protection. She is the key to a large part of Nexus, he needs her." Eveilyn gathered her thoughts trying to sort out what she wanted to say. "Alex if you can find Alaska before Nexus does, theres hope for Seth." Thats all she could say. It was hard to talk about the future with people who couldn't see it. Say to much and the alter it, say to little and it wont matter. "Setsumei if anything im asking you to give Alex time. Alaska is in a bar, "Uriels." Hurry she wont be there long. Nexus will be at the Huxley Public Library in 15 minutes Setsumei. As for Naomi she will be here with me.
"NO I WONT I HAVE FREE WILL DAMN IT!" Naomi screamed from the back room.
"She doesnt know there are cookies in the oven." She smiled as though there were no real problems about.
"I do now, and i will be here for the remainder of the afternoon." Naomi said coming out the room and heading for the oven.
"So much for free will..." Eve smiled at Alex. "Be strong..." Eve picked up a book and relaxed into her chair.

Alex simply blinked as everything was explained. She was mainly staring at teh TV as Eve spoke, but she heard everything the woman said. Once finished she nodded slowly and quietly before standing up and heading for the door. "Better not waste that time then." she said, referring back to the lack there of in finding this place. Luckily she'd heard of Uriel's before. One doesn't run a bar and not know of it's competitor.
She turned and held her hand out to Eve. Thank you for helping Eve. It's very much appreciated." she looked over at Naomi and smirked. "Later Omi, thank you too. Stay out of trouble." she smirked. Setsumei was left for last and her words to him weren't anything audible. 'If it comes to something that can't be fixed, and I can't find the girl, I'd rather Seth wasn't used as a puppet like that.' She glanced at Setsumei, hoping for a hint he knew what she meant.

He'd watch the TV without any real emotion on his face, continuing to drink his water while watching the scene play out. He was also making a mental note that he needed Cat to teach him how to use a basic TV. Once the chick was done speaking to them all, he'd just smirk and shrug. Though he would catch a glimpse of Alex which made him smile. "In the name of Archangel Zadkiel and the Holy Amethyst, I AM the violet flame in action in me now. I AM the blessing and buoyancy of the violet flame! I AM freedom from limitation!" Once he'd speak his own prayer, he'd remove a feather from one of his wings and force it to drift over to Alex. "Should you need to...free someone's mind, so to say...speak that prayer with that feather in hand and it will grant you use of my power. Only once, though, so don't screw it up."
He'd then look over to Eve and shake his head. "Get the name right, eh? I've no need to hide from mortals anymore...Zadkiel. I am the Seventh Ray; the Seventh Archangel." As he'd begin to make his way out, he'd again encase himself in his wings. "The Yield...what was your purpose in it, woman?" Before she could answer he was gone in a white flash and a flurry of white feathers.

"Told you he sucked." Naomi looked at eve while stuffing a cookie in his mouth.
"Maybe you'd like to fight Nexus while Alex goes to the bar?" Eve didnt even look up from her book as she spoke and reached out to rub Alex's hand. "I can see why you chose Seth and ill tell you now that in the end you will be very happy with that choice. It's always darkest before the dawn my dear." Naomi's eye's got big. "SHH!" Eve directed that at Naomi with force.
"No... What are you not telling us?" Naomi came over pointing a cookie at Eveilyn accusingly.
"Naomi..."
"Naomi nothing what the hell is going on, don't give me that you dont need to know bullshit either." Naomi knew the drkest before the dawn crack was always bad.
"Nexus needs Alaska to become whole." Eveilyn got up and left the room very pissed that Naomi had tampered with her dealings.
"Well...." Naomi looked with a blank face at Alex. "You better get a move on." Naomi went to pondering how saving this girl saved Seth.

Alex caught the feather and nodded, noting the prayer so as not to forget it later. She pocketed the feather carefully and watched teh angel leave before looking at Eve and smiling. Of course, Naomi's reaction caught her a bit off guard, as did the conversation of the two. "Umm, I'll just get going then." Alex said as Eve left the room. She nodded and waved at Naomi as she stepped out the door, and broke out in a run to Uriel's.
