This is a Mission Thread
Only poke mattix, Blade Kuroda,& Dexed are allowed to post here! Quote: Us grass pokemon of the forest have been going frantic. A very young Oddish has turned up missing. There have been no trainers in the area for quite some time, so we know he couldn't of been caught.. what we are more worried about is if he's wandered into the darker, much less secure part of the forest. The Pokemon living there are not very friendly towards outsiders wandering onto their territory. Looking for 3 brave Pokemon to find our dear Oddish!! Miku the WTF charmander (100) 3 Oran Berry, 3 lum Berry Kaen the charmander (40) 3 Oran Berry, 3 lum Berry Damien the dratini (39) 3 Oran Berry, 3 lum Berry

Having just recieved the note for the mission, Kaen walked out to the edge of the forest, pausing momentarily to see if the rest of the team was coming. This was his first mission, so he wasn't really sure how things would go, but he was determined things would go rather smoothly for the bunch. He seemed fairly confident and somewhat excited, but not overly so.
"Are you guys ready?" he asked while glancing into the forest, trying to see if he could spot the oddish at all. Not that he really expected it to be right there in his line of sight.

"I'm ready," called out Damien as he slithered out of a bush. So many things were racing through his mind. This was also his first mission and he was going over possible strategies in his head. He just hoped that they would have what it takes to save the poor oddish. He was able to stop thinking long enough though to notice that one member was still missing.
"Where's Miku," he asked, looking around.

"I'm here!" a voice rang out from above, and mikki landed in a heap on the ground next to the other two pokemon. She had been busy putting th efew berries she had in a little bag that was slung around her shoulder. She seemed a little nervous; Mikki had never gone off by herself before, much less attept a pokemon mission.
"i-i'm ready" she said, looking into the forest with aphrehension

Before long the other two had shown up, and everyone was all set to get going, which was a good sign. Though Mikki seemed a little nervous, but that was understandable since none of them had done anything like this before. So then, taking a deep breath he went right into the forest without another word.
Kaen kept an eye out for anything potentially hostile as he began walking, but so far things seemed to be relatively safe. Still, there had to be something around. Didn't the mission poster mention something about unfriendlies around here?

Damien quickly followed after Kaen. His courage was slowly turning into nervousness. This was a darker part of the forest, and you could feel it. "No wonder the oddish don't normally come here. The quietness is scary," said Damien. The scaled on the back of his neck were rising up.

The forest was alot darker then she thought it would be. Mikki followed the other two pokemon, casting glances behind her every now and again.
"ee...I don't like the dark..." she mumbled. "...I know!" she suddenly remember just exactly what kind of pokemon she was. Concentrating a bit, her flame tail rose, getting bigger and now giving everyone a bit of extra light.
Suddenly, she jumped, hearing some rustling behind her "ahh! whats that!!" she ran behind the other two pokemon.

At first, Kaen just nodded at what the others said, seeing how he was trying to focus on keeping an eye out for anything in the area. If there was something like a Nidoking around, they'd probably be in considerable trouble. But at least Mikki was providing some more light for everyone now.
Then, when he heard some rustling, he turned around while staring into the bushes while Mikki ran behind him and Damien. It had startled him as well, and he was very close to randomly spitting out an ember into the bush even though he had no clue what was there.
"Show yourself!" he shouted at the bush. Hopefully it was something like a harmless caterpie. Or a metapod. A metapod would be even better... seeing how they pretty much... just harden. And harden more.

From the bushes, two ekans came sliding out. One hissed at the three pokemon, "What brings three little pokemon out here in such dangerous parts of the woods," in a menacing tone. "Yeah," hissed the other ekans. They both started circling the three pokemon as they said this.
"They are ekans!" said Damien, pointing out the obvious. "Ummm, I mean, we mean no trouble, we are just here to look for someone," he answered, more anxiously this time, now noticing that they were being surrounded.

Mikki Squeaked when she saw the ekans, but then realised that these weren't as big as the monsters she was imaging that could come out of the bushes. At least they weren't arboc's...
"W-we were looking for a l-lost little o-o-dish..." Mikki stamered out. "Have...you seen them?"

Well the ekans weren't that much bigger than them so Kaen wasn't quite sure why the one said what he said, but then he noticed there were quite a few more coming out. Maybe he should have gone ahead and flamethrowed the bush after all.
Frowning a bit, he kept his eyes on a few of them before nodding.
"Yeah. One strayed into this forest not too long ago so it probably passed through here not too long ago."
He was trying to sound calm, but there may have been a bit of apprehension in his voice. Seeing how he wasn't entirely sure if the three of them could take out all these ekans in one piece.

"Maybe we saw it, and maybe we didn't," hissed the last ekans to come out. They were now surrounded by 5 ekans slithering around.
Damien sensed that they were being bullied, and he started shifting from scared to annoyed. "Look, are you going to tell us where the Oddish went or are we going to have to beat it out of you," he said, glaring at them. Those were just words though. He didn't know what would happen if a fight ensued.

Mikki was starting to get really scared again. There were 5 of the ekans, and 3 of them, they were outnumbered.
"p-please tell us, we're on a mission.." Mikki stammered out again. "and w h-have to go save the o-oddish...).

Kaen shot Mikki a quick glance before nudging her, hoping that she'd stop stuttering. That sort of thing was probably feeding these bullies. Then, looking towards Damien, he nodded.
"Yeah. And then we'll be having some nice fried Ekans for dinner!"

"Is that a threat," all the ekans said at once, getting into attack position.
"I guess it is!" yelled out Damien. Its eyes and nose flared furiously as it opened its mouth and sent out a Dragon Rage at one of the ekans.
