Wizards is releasing PH2 tomorrow!

I get the impression that most people here aren't fans of 4E, but I'm excited!

they have been showing bits and pieces of the content for a while, excerpts off the website and previews and play test data on the official Character builder.

I cant wait to get the full powers list for bards, and getting a hold of all the new feats, races and rituals, should be fun!

Wizards is also holding a game day event this weekend, i hear they are giving out free stuff to players and DMs for those games. check the website for locations and times.

No Wizards locations in my state, so I'm going to miss out on it.

Meh, I can just wait until the CB (and by that, I mean the Character Builder) updates. I'm kind of excited to see if there's an Invoker Multiclass feat.

Oh it's acolyte of the divine spirits. It gives you religion training, 1st lvl invoker at will, invoker implement use.

Well, running a cleric, I don't think I need the Religion training (in IRL campaign), but the 1st level at will would be nice. Still, I need to wait until the character creator updates itself in order for me to use it.

I think the event can be held at any retail place that has signed up to host it. usually hobby shops or anyplace that sells D&D books.

and i hate it when you take a muti class feat and you gain skill training in a skill you already have. quite annoying.

I need to get my hands on the muti class feat for Sorcerer, so i can do a Bard/Sorc instead of the Bard/Wizard I currently have. I also want to get a look at the bard only rituals.

Devas sound like an interesting race. they are described as being both goody-goody and badass at the same time.

I don't know much about Avengers but they sound like they are going to be a striker version of the Paladin class. Heavy melee damage with a Divine twist. i read one of the paragon classes for Avengers and that makes them sound like Holy Swordmages, teleporting all over the place.

anyway, I cant wait for my copy to get delivered. I have a feeling this will be a very exciting edition to the 4e core rules set, with lots of new things to check out as well as the return of some old favorites from 3.5, should be awesome!

I've already started a bunch of retraining in preparation for the update, so my character sheet on the CB is houseruled for now, but I'm taking the Invoker multiclass.

And I'm not really annoyed that I already have the trained skill. Right now, I'm playing a laser Cleric, so the transfer from that to the Cleric/Invoker will be an epic one.

EDIT: Blargh. Stupid website being slow in its updates. I made the changes, but its technically homebrewed since the Invoker Multiclass isn't in the system yet.

Acolyte of Divine Secrets [Muticlass Invoker]

Prerequisite: Wis 13

Benefit: You Gain training in Religion.

Choose a 1st level Invoker at-will attack power. You can use that power once per Encounter.

In addition, you can use Invoker Implements.

I am still disappointed with no monk sad if I don't see the monk or ninja soon I am gonna be very disappointed. barbarian is good from what I see. the avenger seems like an inquisitor. still need to go over the book more detailed on the other classes.

Eh, monks are alright, but you could easily run a druid and get the same effect.

Shamans are pretty good. They can summon a spirit companion as a minor action, and they make for great minion-hunters since they need to hit a certain amount of HP in order to dissipate it.

3.5 Wizards were ridiculously broken. I'm glad they fixed that up.

either someone told me this or I read it somewhere, I cant remember...

but Monks are coming, I dont know when, maybe in Players Handbook 3? if these is such a thing?

but, assuming my sources are correct, they are planning to release the Monk class at some point in the future.
