I got my new issue of Shoujo Beat today, and was very pleased to find a photograph of Yossie and Charmy inside!
Here's the (short) interview, for those of you who are interested.
(Remember; Yossie=Hangry; Rika=Angry)
Shojo Beat: What's popular in fashion right now in Japan?
Hangry: Right now, I think rock-style fashion is popular. That's how I dress normally-- leather jacket, black diamond jewelry, and skull rings.
Angry: For girls, goth-lolita fashion is popular. I dress casual in daily life. Denim jeans and knitted hats (because it is winter right now).
SB: What are you looking forward to doing in Seattle when you come for Sakura-Con 2009?
Hangry: I definitely want to do some sightseeing. I want to see the Space Needle.
Angry: Shopping! American clothes are so expensive in Japan, so I want to find some American T-shirts, jeans, things like that. And I want to see a baseball game if I can.
SB: What's your favorite manga?
Hangry: Captain Tsubasa, because I like soccer.
Angry: Dragonball! I've collected manga since I was younger, and I would read them with my siblings.
SB: What's you favorite anime?
Hangry: Shin-chan! I love the character. I love how he shakes his butt!
Angry: Doraemon and Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro. I watched them every week on TV when I was young.
